Pros: Our departure was too early to have breakfast. The location is ideal for Ebbsfleet International. Why has it taken so long to put a hotel near a main line station which can access Europe ?
Cons: Earlier breakfast serving ?

Pros: Spacious , clean well appointed parking over the road ( free at week ends)

7.1 Good
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the cleanliness was excellent.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't at a Continental standard! Brown brad was from the local polish shop which wouldn't have been a problem if I hadn't spot the "reduced price" label which indicates the bread wasn't fresh enough when someone bought it. One single slice of ham was presented which wasn't fresh at all. Half of it was green. I should have taken some pic to prove these things.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Hot water for breakfast better with a kettle?

10.0 Excellent
Pros: All good.. Great stay
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent and supportive staff with the right balance between formality and friendliness. We were treated very well during our stay. The rooms were well nicely decorated and the whole place had a pleasant feel to it. My thanks in particular to the host manager, Matt, and Emilia on reception who were particularly accommodating and engaging throughout our stay. Julia in the bar was also fun to talk to and offered great service as did her Italian colleagues. Having run hotels, bars and restaurants I know how much of a difference it makes to customer experience/perceptions and they should be commended. Toiletries in the bathroom were lovely.
Cons: RG's restaurant is over-priced for what is delivered; any menu that offers prawn cocktail should forewarn of the target market here! Presentation of food is excellent but food itself is average; there is significant mark-up on wine (x3 in some cases) and overall it doesn't feel like value for money relative to my experience in other hotels and restaurants. My lamb cutlets were pink (as advertised) but slightly "under", accompaniments were great; the delicious crab was overwhelmed by the gazpacho and the slightly tough pigeon combined with citrus was a little too jarring with the fennel somewhat lost in the mix. My partner's steak was well cooked, seasoned and tasty. The dining experience in the Elements bar was far better (same kitchen) and the sides were excellent. I noted that a few diners were eating in the restaurants on a "voucher" and probably felt that they were getting more value for money in that regard. At best the meal was worth £100 and not the eye-watering £180 for 2 starters/mains with wine and service that we paid. Based on our experience of dinner we opted to skip breakfast. The shower is poorly designed and water easily floods the bathroom floor; it really needs a door. The coffee capsules on offer (whilst welcome) were not of the highest quality There is zero sound-proofing (probably due to age of property) and so light-sleepers will suffer with noise from other guests. The spa facilities are good but massages itself are more like caressing than anything like a proper massage. Probably relaxing for some but not really a treatment per se. I felt like I had paid an awful lot of money to be dipped in oil, tentatively stroked a bit and have my face washed. I get regular, weekly massages and this did not qualify by a long stretch.
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff were lovely and welcoming We were given a room upgrade too
Cons: Spider in bedroom eek And an unfortunate piece of plastic in breakfast sloppy prep from the kitchen :-/
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything from start to finish was excellent, relaxing and great.
Cons: Cant think of anything.
6.7 Good
Pros: The outdoor setting for the wedding was very romantic. The check in staff were very friendly and pleasant.
Cons: Some of the staff were not very friendly or accomadating. The room was looking tired. For a four star hotel the breakfast was very limited. I felt that the tariff was very over priced for the quality of the accommodation. Getting around the hotel venues was tricky with a wheelchair.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing

5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff in the Bar and at reception were very efficient and very friendly. It was comfortable and clean. Ditto with the bedroom staff. No parking problems. Nice shower.
Cons: The Hotel was dreary and could do with brightening up, especially in the Bar. I ordered a Ribeye steak as I was quite hungry. It was the smallest Ribeye I’ve ever had. Smaller than a MINUTE steak! The sink in the bathroom is ridiculously shallow. We managed to fill the kettles but with great difficulty as the kettle spout didn’t fit under the tap properly. The TV sound in both our rooms was faulty, kept going up and down. I would prefer proper drawers to unpack in. More privacy for personal items. All minor problems worth redressing.

Pros: Bed was comfy. Shower easy to work and hot. Breakfast good value and tasty.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were great and very welcoming. This place has real character and something a bit different from run of the mill places. A little odd but odd can be good!
Cons: Main challenge was shower in the bathroom. There just wasn’t enough slabs for it to be where it was so ended up having to shower crouched down. It’s just a feature of this hotel though as it has loads of character with low sloping roofs and exposed beams.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice little gem in the middle of the town accessible to all the shops and local amenities. Nice food in restaurant. Nice atmosphere even when busy. Staff are lovely.
Cons: The stairs we were on top floor and lots of stairs to get up with all our luggage. But keeps you fit. Also the reception was closed at check in time but could go to bat down stairs to check in.

Premier Inn London Barking - Barking - Building

8.2 Excellent (349 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Positioned alongside the A406 north circular, transport into east London from here is easy. For central London (40 minutes by tube) Barking station is just a 10 minute walk. Our Barking Premier Inn is well located for London ExCel Exhibition Centre and the O2 Arena. Our Barking Premier Inn has everything you'd expect, incredibly comfy beds in every room, free parking and an integrated restaurant serving a mix of traditional and contemporary dishes.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, usual comfortable Premier Inn beds, plenty of parking, air-conditioning, nice bath.
Cons: Parking was £5/night extra which I didn't spot anywhere during booking. The walk to the shops involved going down a "muggers/druggies alley" behind the hotel - had to come through small gang of lads smoking weed on way back to hotel. Road noise was pretty constant so had to close window (and switch on air-conditioning) in order to sleep.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Comfortable bed.
Cons: Restaurant only open at certain times so If you have a planned evening that means you have to leave to be at your function early then you cannot have a meal, you have to buy either snacks or leave even earlier to eat at another diner. No towels in room on arrival, no phone in room. Reception stated only a 10min walk to Barking Tube station but was approximately 60mins by foot, we had a taxi in the end as walking was too far when carrying luggage.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The bed is very comfy.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff, very comfortable bed, the room was very clean and spacious. It also was a relief to have air con in the bedroom during the heatwave.
Cons: Nothing everything was good
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location to get to ExCel which is what we needed. All was clean and nice staff.
Cons: Bed was quite hard. No properties fault but people above sounded like they were jumping in the floor all night so didn’t sleep much.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Bathroom facilities
6.3 Good
Pros: Knew what to expect as hotel is pretty standardised nationally Free WiFi Nice bed Breakfast offer was good Evening meal well presented with friendly staff
Cons: The sofa in our room was stained at rhe bottom The chair in our room had a stain on the pad There was no safe The chairs in the bar seemed to have similar stains to the one in our room on the seat pads No bath mat - we asked but none were available and we were offered a hand towel
7.1 Good
Cons: Asking for ID when giving cash payments
7.1 Good
Pros: The beds were comfy and having aircon was a real benefit. The room was spacious clean and what I expected from a Premier Inn.
Cons: The hallways were really hot and there were building works going on in the property when I got there, that I didn't know about before arriving. The impact of these was the lift was not working and the carpets where partially covered, meaning the hall didn't look so nice.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Good location to the station and easy access to London and Essex!
Cons: Not a lot!

Pros: location nice parking available clean hotel nice breakfast
Cons: small rooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I actually booked a different hotel/B&B initially and it was so terrible I changed to this holiday Inn express late at night and it was lovely, the staff were brilliant and very concerned about my comfort and the fact I was travelling on my own. Breakfast was great and when I asked for gluten free toast they told me they had a seperate toaster and brought it too me which was excellent. Really impressed by the service, cleanliness and stay and would definitely stay again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Yes, croissants were excellent. Good variety for breakfast.
Cons: Nothing.
7.5 Good
Pros: Basic & Simple. It is a Holiday Inn Express, nothing more and nothing less! It was sufficient for what we needed. It was clean and serviceable. Pleasant staff and a nice environment.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Comfy beds, good showers. Gluten free cornflakes and gluten-free instant porridge flakes available (though only hot water to add to the porridge, with no hot milk available).
Cons: Was not clear on the booking that parking would incur an extra charge (£5 per 24 hours). Gluten free bread available, but the staff would not toast this for us so it was very dry. The baked beans were also not gluten free. It would be really helpful to label all the breakfast items with allergens.

7.9 Good
Pros: The bar and staff were excellent, for a basic hotel they were very helpful
Cons: Some better attention to room conditions, felt aged and I had a broken window blind that should’ve been replaced
1.0 Poor
Pros: Ella the manager was very helpful and honest and that’s about it
Cons: I found out the day of our best friends wedding that our room had been cancelled and the team didn’t ring and tell bookings.com so I would have been liable for the £153.00 even though I had rung a week previous to confirm details. Ella was help on the day and offered to find us a room but we explained not to worry but concerned as bookings.com hadn’t been told of the cancellation by themselves that I would be charge and she told me she would deal with this personally.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast buffet excellent & wide time availability. Rooms well appointed, clean & comfortable excellent value for money, will certainly use again if cruising from Tilbury! Very convenient location for Tilbury cruise terminal or large shopping malls.
Cons: The evening meal was very disappointing! Even though not very busy the meat in the beefburger was very 'dry'/ overcooked & overpriced for what it was. I would suggest finding another eating location! A large glass of diet coke was £4! The server asked 'just one?' my husband replied 'at that price we'll share!' can't see any justification for such a large mark up! If we hadn't been starving would have sent the entire meal back! Such a shame as the hotel stay & breakfast were excellent! Would deffo stay again but eat & drink elsewhere!
