The other people staying there where alright
When I arrived I was informed that there was no longer any spaces left, I got there at 7pm after working all day and the last thing I wanted to do was search for somewhere to sleep, then I was told they did have one room left but price would be $50 and a $20 room key deposit so I ended up paying 7x above the agreed price and still have not received the key deposit back?? Not happy to say the least!
- entrance is from the back of the building in through the parking, the ‘reception’ is next to the garbage bins and it smells awful, at the check in they charged me for a key but didn’t give a key because the facility is accessible by a entrance code and the room was never closed. - homeless people were staying in the hostel and basically anybody could come and go. - the entire place is unbelievable dirty, with bed bugs, cockroaches and there was no place to put my backpack because there was so much trash and stuff of the others - I left after 2 nights because that place is not for humans and if you have a basic common sense you won’t stay there
Cheapest accomodation in Sydney. You can't expect a 5 star hotel for the price but it's worth the money. You have everything you need.
The staff is very friendly and helpful
Obviously the price was okay. At that price the mess wasn't that bad.
I didn't like the fact that when I got back after work, someone was in my bed and my stuff that had been on the bed had been thrown across the floor. I then spent over an hour trying to find a staff member to help, eventually finding out that they'd forgotten to roster someone on. I had booked for 6 nights, but could only stay for one. I had to come back yet again to wait around and try to get a refund.
