Staff were very helpful and friendly. The tour and tasting at the associated Tokay wine cellar was superb.
wonderful position, lovely gardens, very peaceful, and in the Hungarian summer heat, controlable air conditioning for a good nights sleep.Plus lovely and friendly staff,so helpful in every way.All in all a wonderful place to stay,we will return!!Thank you Grof Degenfeld !! NO!
Excelent hotel, one of the best i ever saw
Great facilities, beautifully appointed rooms and common areas, staff was polite and helpful. The winery manager was very nice and informative.
This is a beautiful place; even if it is not a genuine castle it has the feel of a chateau, and the price right now is extraordinarily reasonable. The wine tasting was a highlight, and the restaurant excellent.
The location was perfect for us, however this is not a hotel but a pension with very basic facilities and should be promoted as such. It was clean and functional.
Good location, friendly guesthouse owner (treated us with a glass of Tokaj from his own wine cellar for free), free parking, quite large and comfortable room, a fridge in the room (although there was no information about it on the page). Owner does not speak English (only German, I think). It was cold in the niht (beginning of September) and the heating was turned off and the bed blankets were too thin, so we felt a little cold.
The location is excellent, just over a wine cellar and store. Good wi-fi reception in the room. Basic but tasty breakfast. Bathroom was tiny. Bedsheets way too short for the beds.
Good quolity/price ratio, parking, whine cellar.
Excellent location , owners have a great winery (dry tokaj recommended!!!), good restaurant nearby, good wi-fi connection in the room, friendly staff (knowing few words in polish:) ) Poor equipment, only small towels available, we had to find a restaurant to eat something in the evening, as there was nothing available in the pension
own wine cellar offers excellent wines; well-located; friendly and helpful staff; free wi-fi in the room bath towels too small; shower curtain barely adequate (we had water spill all over the floor)
Vasko Panzio is located in the strict centre of Tokaj, has own 200 years old wine celler with the sort of own made Tokaj wine - great experience to try all of them. Very good place to taste atmosphere of Tokaj town. Wireless net connection availabe in the room.
Wino, Location, Staff ----
nice location; wine cellar with wide selection of local wines; good price although the towels and sheets were clean, the rest of the room was dusty and the bathroom badly required renovation
staff, location, enviroment, noise from traffic, small bathroom and toilet
Position and tranquillity Breakfast only hungarian type
Multilingual manager was terrific...offered to show us a hiking trail, made wine tasting reservations for us, etc. One of the other men loaned us his personal computer briefly. Very nice people. The view from our balcony was beautiful...the rivers join there. for some people it might be a little far from the train station
Staff very friendly and helpful. Very nice and comfortable room. Poor breakfast
Helpfull and friendy staff Breakfast was not a serve yourself buffet
Didn'd clean the room every day.Poor service. Not recommendd
I enjoyed my stay, Dezor was extremely helpful and a wonderful host. Dezor does not speak English but somehow knows what you want or need and is very helpful. His wife and Daughter speak English. I pleasantly surprised at the beauty of the room I stayed in.
Size of the room No wireless internet, opposite to what is advertised; no English-speaking staff; SAT-TV was not working; bad quality synthetic bed linen
Short walk from the center of Tokaj. Spacious room. Breakfast not included in the price. No wireless internet. No air-conditioning with busy road under windows and loads of mosquitoes in the summer. TV not working. Not very clean. Off street parking for just two cars in the drive. Overall poor value for money.
Staff very nice. Simple but very comfortable. Mattress and sheets of the beds perhaps should be renewed.
nice big room, small private parking inside no wifi. Only 1 pc at reception with slow modem, but works. Not possible to connect your laptop. Breakfast 6€, but you can walk 5-10 min to the center.
staff was very friendly and helping reality was below expectations from iternet
Spacious room, very good breakfast, family atmosphere. Some troubles in contact - only one person in the hotel speeks English; this person was present only last day.
Nise yard inside, good location for walking. all signes in hungarian language only: no English or German. Poor breakfast.
the owner was really nice and helpfull.
Visiting a winery, with guide, tasing and dinner. Exelent parking for motocycles.
Excellent rooms, small but very clean and inviting. Food was excellent as was the general condition of the hotel. Very picturesque location in a very small village.
Friendly staff, very good food and beautiful countryside. The village where the hotel is located Erdobyne has no facilties open at night ( not even a village bar)
The staff went out of the way to be friendly and even arranged a car and driver to take us into the countryside for a very reasonable charge. The food is extremely good and an excellent value. Jonas picked us up at the train station and took us back to the train station on our departure. He even went in and helped us purchase our ticket (not an easy thing to do in Hungary if you do not speak Hungarian) and waited with us and helped us onto the train. Them lack of air conditioning which is not unusual for this part of Europe and this type of hotel.
Very nice place for the rest after all the day. Designed in countryside style with more regional accents (bottles of wine everywhere). Quite good restaurant offer with large choose of regional wines. The best "somloi galuska" I ate in Hungary. Restaurant is separated company, so it is not possible to pay together for hotel and dinner.
Good location and good restaurant serving tasty food. Some broken items in the room required upgrading or replacing.
