We have been visiting the hotel nearly every year. The staff is wonderful. It has a comfortable feel and the children love the pool and hot tubs. There is something about swimming and skiing in the same day. It has been a well maintained and clean hotel. The restaurant is quite good and has a fabulous atmosphere. The price around the holidays has been quite high and I understand it is a vacation destination, but it is a bit steap for our budget.
Very quiet and comfortable. Was called in advance to say they were doing pool maintenance, so facilities wouldn't be available. Very thoughtful Was not told about the boil water advisory upon check in, learned from restaurant in town later! Couldn't find coffee shop that was shown on website, and fireplace timers are too short.
Excellent staff Poor wifi for a couple of days.
Ski in, ski out. Price. Ease of booking. 1-Little window=little view. 2-Patio door could not be locked/unlocked by us (a hotel employee unlocked with a key it and it stayed unlocked--they put the door on inside-out, on purpose.)
The location is great as it is near the golf courses. We rented a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom and had a great layout for 4 people. The dishes were not clean. Had to request glasses as we were missing 3 glasses. Had to book a time to use the barbecue and when we went to use it the barbecue had not been cleaned for some time. Dishwasher worked poorly.
The rooms were large and well set up with a nice balcony and great views. The bed & pillows were very comfortable. Excellent sleep. It was nice that they had a Montana's attached to the resort also. Very handy. The pool & hot tub were under renovations, which we did not know when we booked.
Employees in The Lodge, Montana restaurant & Golf Café, very informative of the area & friendly. The Doe, Two Fawns & Buck eating on lawn , nice attraction. Basement parking, close to elevator- perfect we are Seniors.
It was a very friendly and relaxing place to be. The front desk staff were knowledgeable and fantastic to talk with.
So close to the base of the ski hill. Was nice to be able to just step out the door and head right too the lift.
The staff was exceptional. All questions were readily answered and extra information or suggestions provided.
Location. Love ski in/out. Our coffee maker was not working and unclean.
Quality of the room and service
This hotel exceeding my expectations...Great room and the receptionist at the front desk gave me a great tip to eat for dinner...I think it was the The Old Bauernhouse...It is an amazing german restaurant close to the resort... Underground parking was a little tricking getting into...Very narrow entrance...Would suggest just parking out in thr front of the hotel...
great location,very comfortable
Phenomenally luxurious considering the price. Simply stunning. Presumably an out of season promotional rate. Out of town location. Only one restaurant in walking distance.
Beautiful room with every kind of amenity. More than we would normally spend, but certainly worth it.
I enjoyed my stay. It was very quiet at night. Got a good sleep both nights.
This Chateau is amazing! The front desk staff were extremely helpful and kind. They offered to and did make dining reservations for us. They took photos for us in the gallery/lobby and sitting areas. The breakfast area is excellent. nothing
Blood on bedskirt. Carpet dirty and large pink stain on carpet. Something awful on the ceiling. Dirty shower curtain. Hidebed very uncomfortable. Bathtub plugged. Reported plugged toilet and ceiling stain but they didn't seem to care.
Value, comfort, friendlyness
Alpenglow was the best part of our road trip, we were sorry that we had not allowed more time to spend at Alpenglow enjoying the hospitality of our hosts , who were welcoming and readily gave suggestions to sample the best of Kimberley.
Beautiful property, room very spacious and clean. Anya, our host was extremely helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was first class. Would definitely recommend.
Comfy bed, clean, beautiful wood floors and ceilings. The breakfast was excellent. The wooden stairs were very loud and creaky even with the lightest person. The hostess' handshake nearly broke my hand and she is very LOUD and talkative. The walkway from the parking area to the front door is a little sketchy, with hoses and uneven path
