Pros: This place is not a common hotel, you feel more like part of the family while you're here :) It is located on the countryside, very tranquil, the rooms are beautiful, the beds very comfortabel, you can do horseriding and other activities. Jeannie takes lovely care of helping you with all you need or want to know... Joshua is a great chef, food was really delicious. It is definitely a good idea to take breakfast and dinner in this place. Value for money is very good! I highly recommend Casa de Campo for anyone who is looking for some tranquility on the Ecuadorian countryside. Thanks again to the whole family Mills for taking such good care of me <3
Pros: Extremely helpful and friendly owner. Decoration beautiful and testful. Very comfortable everything. Nice and quite countryside.
Pros: For years I have dreamed of horseback riding in the Andes; yesterday that dream came true thanks to Jeannie and her staff at Casa de Campo. No, not a trudging along in a line of deadhead horses, but me and the guide on real horses exploring the mountains and valleys of Cayambe. It could not have been more perfect! A Casa filled with with 250 fresh cut roses, food to die for, artwork, comfortable, clean and beautiful accommodations...what more could you ask for?
Pros: Jeannie is a lovely and very helpfull host. The location is quiet, but conveniently close to Cayambe. A wonderful, varied and very healthy (fresh fruit and juices) breakfast is served.
Pros: Casa de Campo is truly a wonderful place to stay. Not only is the location beautiful, but Jeanie and her staff are also very friendly and go out of their way to help you make the most of your stay. I would highly recommend it!
Pros: Jeannie was a really great host, cooked a nice dinner and great breakfast On site horse riding was available for a small charge and a lovely 1 hour route on largely tracks
Cons: Like many Guest Houses in Ecuador no shampoo was provided, having said that had we needed any I'm certain some would have been provided Barking dogs in adjacent property
Pros: It was an amazing stay! The rooms are beautiful, food is delicious and we could see the cayambe volcano in the morning straight from our room. The host is a lovely warm person who would go out of her way to make you feel comfortable.. definitely a great place to stay!
Cons: everything was great, clean and well organized!
Pros: By far the best accomodation we had during our traveling throughout south america! The host Jeannie is wonderful with a great eye for detail. The rooms are squeeky clean, the surroundings amazing and the food healthy & delicious. You can even go horseback riding or hiking. If you want to retreat surrounding yourself with good food, spectacular nature and lovely people this is the place to stay
Cons: Absolutly nothing! Everything was great!

Featured amenities include a business center, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Pros: Nice building and surroundings. Table tennis and tabletop football on the terraces overlooking the City of Cayambe. Very quiet spot out of town. A kind of balcony inside from where you can spot the Cayambe Vulcano.
Cons: Rooms were rather cold at night although there was a tiny heater. Some facilities lacked a bit of refurbishment such as the floor and the balcony door. There was a bad smell in the lavatory.
Pros: Landscapes, view, staff, value.
Pros: Ths staff was really friendly and eager to help us! The views are amazing!!!
Pros: We loved the view and the flexibility of the staff.
Cons: It was cold, but I kind of liked that too.
Pros: Beautiful room and view.
Cons: We stayed two nights. The room was not cleaned during the time we were there. There is a restaurant on site, but because we were there Mon and Tues, we had very limited selections for food and drinks, which was very disappointing.
Pros: The house is beautiful, and you feel at home. The chef has well prepared and delicious plates! The scenery is gorgeous especially at sunset. You feel tucked away in a magical place to relax!
Cons: This place has so much potential! Truthfully it lacks customer service, not out of desire, but out of education in hotel management. Some suggestions: when showing us the room, offer to show us how to use the multi-knobbed jet bath. -Always have a fire going on in the evenings and even in the mornings, asking guests if that is something they would like. Guests shouldnt have to ask, and there should NEVER be an excuse for no firewood. -stay off your phone in front of guests, and don't play reggaeton in the house. Some piano music or something more tranquilo sets the tone, and helps you feel that you aren't at some discounted Hostel. - offer horse riding or a tour of the land, or at least tell the guests options of what is around. -Clean up dishes as soon as they are used. Beers and coffee dishes shouldn't be left outside until the next morning. -Toast the bread in the morning. If all of these things were taken care of, this hacienda could have a much higher rating and I would feel that every dollar was well spent, and could be planning my return and telling others!
Pros: Staff and ambiance. Views were outstanding. On site chef.
Cons: Approach to property is complex and some of the road is rough (cobblestones) and narrow with many turns!!

Pros: This place is very charming! We had so much fun exploring the grounds and various rooms in this old hacienda. Our room was very cute and I loved the fireplace inside. The staff replenished our wood everyday. The food was great and a great value. It was great talking to the owner. Hot water! Such a unique place to stay!!
Cons: The WiFi in our room wasn’t the best, but it worked great outside the room.
Pros: Wauw! A beautiful ancient hacienda. And the talk with the owner - and his incredible life story - was very enriching. Kids loved the playground and the dogs. Dinner was simple and good at the fireplace.
Cons: Many more tourists could benefit from visiting these amazing and well-kept buildings. And learn about their rich and troubled history. The library room needs a brush up.
Pros: The atmosphere, the old colonial style building.
Pros: Very atmospheric with large rooms and a lovely central patio. Beautiful countryside all around. Close to the Mitad del Mundo. Big fireplaces in the rooms - needed as it was chilly. Good hot showers. A nice pool area - would benefit from some loungers. A good restaurant and nice menu.
Cons: All rather cold and gloomy. Mostly uncomfortable seating. Limited availability of alcoholic beverages.
Pros: This is a beautiful old hacienda that preserves all the old charm. The rooms are rustic but comfortable, and the restaurant prepares fantastic food (dinner is better than breakfast). The staff is very helpful and pleasant, and the expanatory signs throughout the property are nice. Overall a great place to stop and enjoy history, check out Cayambe volcano and the Quitsato equator monument!
Cons: The chimney was a little blocked in our room, so when we turned on the chimney, the room was very smokey and we had to turn it out.

Pros: Our stay was fantastic! the only problem was to have a couple next door that drink all night and all morning it was hard to sleep. But the place was beautiful and very comfortable. Staff was very very friendly and helpful. Only receptionist had a little bit of a bad mood.
Pros: It’s a good get away from the capital and it has beautiful gardens, places to walk around! Their food is delicious yet the breakfast service could improve. We had a fantastic time celebrating my mom in this special place for Mother’s Day!
Cons: We had some issues in our room, the waiters should be better trained regarding breakfast and letting the customers know what it includes, as well as the receptionist although she was very kind she didn’t give us information of the property or it’s facilities.

Pros: The room is very comfortable, clean, with a huge TV, and clean bathroom. The staff is very kind and attentious and it has a good location. The taxi point is right on the corner of the hospital street and the area seems safe.
Cons: It's a Hostal that looks like more a Hotel, so you don't have kitchen where you cook something or a common area. Besides in room 101 there is some noise from the street. I also found it a little bit expensive.
Pros: everything was very good the staff very friendly
Pros: Located in a somewhat residential quiet area where a guest can see some of how folks really live day to day. Part of the restaurant facility is being remodeled so that shows forward thinking on the part of the owners. A good mix of locals and quests at the restaurant so the food must be good, right?
Cons: The step up to the bedroom from the entry/work area and bathroom.
