the room is verry clean , the peopel is verry freindly and helpful
Good room with good breakfest
Hotel rooms facing the back yard suffer from noise from the kitchens' exhaust system.
Close to shops. Good town for walking around. Could have used a larger fan for cooling. Street noise from vehicles was unreasonable and went on too late. Hard with luggage to go around rough sidewalk to get in side elevator to room.
As I was visiting relatives while in Alingsas and they lived quite close to the hotel,i found the location very easy for me to find where I wanted to go. The staff were very accomodating, quite helpful and accomodating. I enjoyed my stay very much and when I visit again I will stay at the Alingsas Hotel. Nothing
Good location in pretty town and near lake. Excellent breakfast. We had room in annex which is a little scruffier but is cheaper and offers good value. There was some evening noise from people in the street but this did not concern us.
It was nice and down To earth. Bert friendly atsmosfere.
Breakfast was simple with no cooked food but was very tasty. Price seemed high for the room which reminded us of our daughters dormitory room at university.
close to the main road, silence, not far to the centre of city, good rate, nice service no comments
The staff were excellent, and the room was clean, large and very comfortable. The use of a kitchen was very convenient. Free wifi was very welcome, and breakfast had a great selection of food. The hotel, itself, is very comfortable and bright, and cheerfully decorated. It is within close proximity of a huge supermarket and 3 lovely lakes. The hotel does not mention how to check-in when arriving outside of reception hours (there is a phone number on the door which you ring, and then they give you a code to a key box to get your keys). This was stressful. The location of the hotel is a long (but enjoyable, if going through Annelund park) walk from the city centre.
We were visiting our daughter who is studying at Boras University and the hotel was very close to her accommodation, which was extremely convenient. The rooms were clean, the staff were helpful and there was also plenty of parking available. The beds were very soft and I am allergic to feather pillows (asthmatic). Breakfast was OK, but lacked choice and variety.
Hotel staff were very helpfull, only one thing had to leave or vacate room to earlly since flight was not untill 8pm.
The location of the hotel is quite nice and central, all shops, restaurants and bars in walking distance. Totally overpriced, no mini bar, soft beds, very basic furniture, asked for wake up call but they 'forgot'.
The staff are the best asset of this hotel. We've stayed 3 times and they always seem helpful on the front desk and the lady at breakfast is very good. Last time we stayed they had run out of scrambled eggs and we were the last for breakfast - she offered to make some especially for us. Some rooms are older than others. Our room this time was a bit tired and basic.
The hotel was conveniently situated. Parking outside the hotel was easy. The man on reception when we checked in was very helpful and recommended a good restaurant. There was no mini bar in the room. No glasses for water (except bathroom glasses). The shower looked great but water leaked under the door.
Nice room. Activity gift to children. We were not informed when checking in that breakfast would be served only till 9.30, even during holiday season. We were allowed in for breakfast as they were closing, but the selection of food was very limited and we had to hurry while it was being packed away.
The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful
Located very conveniently for a walk downtown Room fairly small; WiFi connection was sometime not very efficient
the room was in need of renovation and the beds were extremly uncomfortable
friendly staff, good breakfast, sauna rooms and bathrooms rather small, as well as reception
Nice, friendly staff. Very comfortable room. Central location good for shops, restaurants and business meetings. The atmosphere in the Brasserie restaurant on the ground floor was not great. Probably better to venture to somewhere else in the town center.
Having the Hotel facilities split between two locations was at best inconvenient and in wet weather a real disadvantage. No safe in room. See above
Convenient location to shopping, restaurants, and convention activities that I was involved in. The hotel is divided into two buildings requiring that one walk to the other building for breakfast. However, this was not really a problem.
The people were great, as were the facilities. The dinners in the restaurant were exceptional and reasonably priced.
Moderat business hotel in centrum My room in seperate building app. 300 mt from main building whereis located restaurant with also breakfast. Not very conveniente!
Good value for money Had to go to a separate builiding quite far away from the reception and breakfast. Not very convenient.
Location Actual room located in a separate building. No in-room coffee. Tiny TV set. Noisy. This hotel is way over-prized.
Good value for money. Hotel rooms are located in two different buildings. My room was at a noisy street with lots of traffics in early morning,
Hotel was ok but note that you will have to walk outside to another building depending on the room you have. Short walk, no big deal, but still...
The budget rooms are in a separate building which used to be a different hotel. They are not four star standard. It is on the main street, city centre, which is very convenient. The decor is very dated and the bathroom was very old fashioned, with damaged lino on the floor. One part of the shower door was missing and a shower curtain was put up instead, which couldn't be pulled across to open fully, so you got caught in it trying to leave the shower. Breakfast was up in the main hotel, which was across the road and up steps, which are dangerous in the snow. Reception is in the main hotel so any issues with fellow guests take a while to sort out as they have to come down.
