Pros: Everything! The greatest place - I wish I could stay here much longer. I love everything here: view, room, restaurant and people who work in this small hotel - they are marvelous. You feel comfortable and welcome here.
Cons: No disposable toothpaste and shampoo in the bathroom - they would be great
Pros: We stayed for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon, and chose the hotel based on the location. The staff were so helpful and welcoming, and Carlos in the restaurant made our stay extra special! The view from our room onto the ocean with the waves crashing was beautiful. We would definitely visit again.
Pros: The setting, location and view is unbeatable and we loved the parrot and the coffee was excellent.
Cons: We felt rather unwelcome. For the very high price we felt there should have been shampoo etc. In the bathrooms, and perhaps a mini fridge and fresh bread at breakfast?
Pros: The dramatic setting and style of this unique place and the delightful family that run it. Loved their talking parrot also.
Cons: Saying goodbye maybe.....
Pros: great location good food
Cons: I've been to many places and I've booked many hotels on booking.com. This is the first time I'm writing such a bad review, but I'm really disappointed. Especially for the price I paid. During first night I couldn't sleep. I understand that there isn't much owner can do about the wind, but he could insulate the room (especially the windows). Wind was basically blowing through my room and the doors and windows were slamming. It was a nightmare. After this first horrible night I tried speaking to owner, but he ignored the problem and told me "we are on board". Maybe he thought it's a great joke. Maybe he couldn't understand me. Anyway I have never experienced such an attitude in a hotel. During the second night I used towels and everything I had to insulate the doors and windows. It helped a bit, but it felt like a survival camp and not like a premium hotel. After the second night I talked to owner's wife. She was more communicative, promised to fix the windows and did that. It helped a bit. Also the wind was weaker during the third and fourth night. Still I could hear neighbours talking and wind blowing through the walls. The staff is trying to be nice. Sometimes trying to much. I would prefer less talking, less excuses and more sleeping comfort. Dinners are a strange experience. Waitress is behaving in a very odd way. She hardly speaks English. She walks around the dining room making strange noises and touching people. She has a problem to pour wine - she is swaying while doing that. She pours wine on the floor. She forgets to bring you things or walks around the dining room asking people who ordered what, even thought there are only a few tables. I can't say for sure, but I believe she has some kind of a drinking problem. There also seems to be some kind of a conflict/game between her and the owner. If you are looking for a strange experience - go for it.
Pros: Amazing place to totally disconnect from the routine and stress and completely relax. Sleeping with the ocean sound from the room window was absolutely unforgettable for us. Superb staff and great decorations especially with regard to historical pieces coming from the past for which the hotel would definitely deserve a single visit, maybe while enjoying their “special coffee”.
Pros: Location is genuinely unique, on a pier with crashing Atlantic breakers on both sides (don’t expect a quiet night!). The food in the restaurant was always excellent.
Cons: In need of a little TLC (lamps loose on walls, light switches that turn on the lights when you move in bed, slight smell of drains in the bathroom ).
Pros: A wonderful place to relax in a beautiful location, the sound of the waves gave us the best nights of sleep in a long time. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant every night of our stay and the choice and quality of the food is excellent. But most of all everybody made us feel very welcome.
Pros: It's an excellent charming botique hotel in a wonderful location. Exceptionally managed. An experience, more than a journey.
Cons: Leave the hotel :-)
Located in Valverde, Hotel Boomerang is a 2-minute drive from Casa de Las Quinteras Ethnological Center and 8 minutes from Playa de Puerto de la Estaca. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Pros: The hotel is in a central location in Valverde. Although there is no off-street parking, we were always able to park outside the hotel. The accommodation is simple but recently renovated, so in good condition. Most of the staff did not seem to speak much English. The breakfast was what we expected.
Cons: There was nowhere on site to get a drink except at breakfast time. There was nowhere in the bathroom other than the floor to put wash kits.
Pros: Good location in a quite area, close to center city and 10 minutes walk from bus station. Room very clean. Nice bathroom. Systems working well. Ok for transit before visiting the other place in the Island.
Cons: No refrigerator in the room.
Pros: Liked the room which had a very good shower. Very clean. Helpful staff. Good location, near the church and centre of town. The main bus station is within walking distance as are the supermarkets.
Cons: I think that breakfast could have been included in the price. It would have been helpful to have had a small fridge in the room. Although the location was good, people with walking difficulties might find Valverde too hilly!
Pros: Pleasant central location with on street parking opposite
Cons: Would have enjoyed more fresh fruit at breakfast.
Pros: The breakfast was good but too much for me. The price was also good for what was offered. Its afamily hotel and everybody was extremely nice.....Would absolutely recommend it.
Pros: Good location in a quite area, close to center and a few minutes walk from Bus Station. Very clean and good confort. Staff very friendly
Cons: No refrigerator in the room
Pros: Clean and Kind owner
Cons: Noise on the main road and uncomfortoble beds
Pros: Small room but very comfortable. All what you need for a few days stay.
Cons: A bit noisy place. Some air conditioning or similar equipment, maybe something from the kitchen as there is a bar in the same building, not sure.
Pros: good location
Pros: Modest but we'll priced accommodation right in the middle of town with a lovely restaurant located right in the same building. View of the mountain from my balcony a pleasant surprise!
Pros: Fantastic value. Ensuite room with balcony €26 for night. Nice patio woth flowers. Private parking behind. Not as much noise as we expected from being on main street.
Pros: Close to bars and shops, great views
Cons: Memory foam mattress, doesn't feel nice to sleep on, but that's a personal thing
Pros: Modest price and friendly helpful hostess.
Cons: Rooms overlook busy main street whih an be noisy.
Pros: Very cheap and well located in the hearth of frontera. The restaurant downstair is nice.
Cons: The windows are in pretty cheap material. On windy night, even with earplugs, you wont sleep has it shakes like a beach shack in a storm

Cons: All was perfect and I felt very welcome there!
Pros: The quietness of the location and of the hotel
Pros: The location was amazing, the staff and food were excellent.
Cons: The pillows on the bed were uncomfortable and the bathroom was in need of modernisation
Pros: If you want to visit El Hierro island, there are only 2 hotels of more than 20 rooms on the entire island. Parador by far is the best hotel on El Hierro. Wonderful location right by the wild ocean. Nice restaurant with superb breakfast and delicious meals. Lovely terrace with view. Since my last visit here on 2013 the rooms were renovated and really look good now. Bathroom with tub. Absolutely book a room with Sea View! The best here is the view, so do not save money and make the mistake to get a room that looks onto the street and mountain. This is a nonsense. Very nice place to stay, I love it! It‘s a good 3 stars hotel with 5 star position!
Pros: Good hotel and good staff.
Pros: The amazing location for a first night on El Hierro is perfect. The hotel is a delight in every way.
Cons: It was all good. No complaints at all.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Location was calm and relaxing, and easy to reach by car.
Cons: The bed matress was too hard to sleep on, also the beds are too small for 2 people. Dinner was ok, but more variety would be appreciated. Also some more vegetables would be nice and some less meat.
Pros: Could not have been more pleased, the corner room was great (#410), upper level on the end so no one above you or on the left. The view was perfect, we never went for breakfast, the best table was right on our terrace where we had room service every morning. The staff were exceptionally helpful and made onward bookings for us with enthusiasm and great concern for our well being. Would love to return and next time sample their dining room.
Pros: relaxation and staff service
Cons: pool not in use and was not informed prior to arrival
Pros: relaxing location, wonderful microclimate.all staff very helpful.would definely stay again,v good value
Cons: internally excellent, outside facilities a little tired perhaps-garden etc,but overall an excellent stay

Very comfortable and large...king size...The BBQ area is fantastic !!!! We had BBQ every night ! We definitely will come back again.
Cons: The remote control of TV wasn't working, it need to be proper one for this TV. Was hard to change channel's manually. The electric kettle is needed, as it too long for make the tea with just boiling water on the gas cooker.
