My breakfast request was out of the ordinary -- fresh fruit and coffee -- and so I really appreciated that every day the staff shopped for fresh fruit and brought me a nicely prepared selection each morning. The room was spacious and comfortable, and they also provided a table/desk at my request. The bathroom was also spacious, and the shower is amazing! I was given a room with a gorgeous view of the Tien Shan mountains, and I was there in the offseason (there was only one other guest) so it was beautifully peaceful.
The staff and the director of the hotel have been very helpful.
There is not much to do for families around the hotel location.
Clean rooms, big bathroom, beds were comfortable, in a quiet area outside Talgar but close enough to take day trips to AkBulak ski area. Staff were nice enough.
I would have given them a better rating, but on my second night, as I was trying to put my kids to bed, the entire building started shaking with techno music. They had booked a party in their 1st floor rooms. No one had told me this when I booked the second night in person. I went down and asked when the music was going to finish. They said 2-3 hours so I asked for a partial refund and said I would just pack up and drive back to the city I live in. They refused to give any refund or offered any apology or offer of compensation for their insane dance party going on in a hotel. I would suggest that if you are not Kazak or if you have children that you not go to this place.....
You have to look for a stuff around hotel for 15 minutes. Stuff does not understand any single word in english. Stuff is one person who does not even know that you have booking. In hotel You have to pay by cash but they do not have money for back. They keep Your passport in place where everyone can come and take it. Breakfast is when they call you (do not say before in which hour it will be) and is cold. Windows, towels And sheets are dirty. In bathrooms Not paper and big Windows so everybody can see you when you take a shower... Showers do not work - extremly hot water and you can burn, no cold Water. For half of this price I got 3000% better conditions than there. Here I got burn under shower and cold breakfast. Location really bad for this price.
