Pros: Everything. The host is amazing. So friendly and welcoming. Had cava sitting on the terrace for our wedding anniversary. Just so relaxing. Great bar area and restaurant serving local food. Lovely breakfast with cake to die for. Easy to find not far from motorway. Comfortable room. Great for overnight stay after leaving ferry in Santander. Will go again.
Cons: Nothing. It was all good.
Pros: Lovely house with great atmosphere, opposite a huge church. There's also a cosy bar / restaurant with a nice terrace, to drink a copa and have a meal. Rooms are pleasant and clean. The hostess was very friendly and helpfull. There's much character in the house, as well as in the village. A quiet place, nearby Fromista and Palencia.
Pros: very friendly locals and relaxed and friendly staff
Cons: No espresso machine
Pros: Very nice hostess cooked us a delicious dinner. The church right next to the hotel is superb. Great views from the hotel.
Cons: Weak WiFi
Pros: Great staff. Beautiful hotel and room. Bathroom was very small and hard to move around it without bumping into something.
Cons: A misunderstanding of room price per room verses room price per person in a room. Rooms were clean on the surface but not in depth. Bed was okay.
Pros: The hosts were incredibly helpful and nice
Pros: Very good place to stay Nice bar next door and lovely staff Very nice location not far from Santander ferry so handy as
Cons: No TV in the room

Pros: Our host was friendly even though he spoke little English. The room was comfortable and quiet.
Pros: Mila is a very nice hospitalera. It made me few at home. Definitely a place I would recommend and would love to come back!
Pros: Great family-run hostal. A little off the Camino, but wonderful bathrooms and comfortable beds.
Cons: Walls were a bit thin, but nothing that keeps a person up.
Pros: The hosts are lovely and so welcoming. The room had a charming old fashion flare about it and comfortable, with a modern bathroom.
Pros: The breakfast was very good value and plentiful at 4 euros each. Unfortunately the owner didn't know we were vegetarian and brought out a large plate of cold meats which is normal for a continental breakfast. However what we had was more than enough.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Pros: The lady was wonderful, a perfect host and for what I needed, the room was ideal.
Pros: This Hostal is well located in Frómista . Mila was very welcoming and helpful . Though not able to speak in English she understood what we asked and was able to make herself understood with her wonderful gestures and writing of things.

Pros: Very traditional furniture, felt like special guest
Pros: The property was very clean, comfortable beds and great location. Check in was ‘efficient ‘ but not particularly friendly. Not shown even to the door of the building where I room was but hey ho we managed.
Pros: Fabulous little hamlet, well run small bar/restaurant with rooms
Cons: I love it just as it is, and stay here regularly when driving across Spain
Pros: Clean and comfortable. Location was great and the room perfect.
Cons: Wait staff at the restaurant unfriendly. The woman who checked us in was just delightful, but we chose to have dinner at the hotel restaurant and found the waitress to be curt with us and never checked in to ensure our meal was acceptable or if we needed anything. So sad because everything else was perfect.
Pros: Room was very good, hairdryer provided. Very clean
Cons: Staff efficient but no warmth or friendliness
Pros: clean, comfortable rooms and decent food at restaurant BUT i felt it was overpriced and not great value. staff were awful - seemed continually pissed off at u for simply making them do their job ?? eg. checking in, trying to pay or order food. had to ask 3 times for my pilgrim stamp and eventually come back later in the day to get it. had multiple workers on but only 1 was serving while the others just talking. rushed to finish my meal and brought out courses before i was finished with the others .. just very disappointing considering the price i paid
Pros: WiFi did not ever worked. Breakfast from 9:00 was to late for us...
Cons: Bigger room. Breakfast from 07:30 WiFi

Pros: Nice shower Quiet Comfortable beds About a 7 min walk from the camino and close to good bars and restaurants
Cons: Tad pricey compared to other places I’ve stayed on the trail
Pros: Friendly owner. Comfortable room. Good location and breakfast. An excellent place to stay.
Pros: The room was condo and clean. The host was friendly and helpful. Loved the jars of candy in the lobby.
Cons: I was given a room (reserved 5 months in advance) that did not have a window. I was on the 2nd floor and the room had a skylight—but no safety egress in case of fire, etc. How this is legal is truly questionable.
Pros: Big room and latge bathroom
Cons: Was excellent

Pros: The staff are amazing. We arrived around 6 PM after a long day on the Camino. Laura was amazing. She prepared a pizza even though the restaurant was closed. She also did a wash for us. The breakfast is amazing as well.
Pros: It was clean, good location and breakfast was good.
Cons: The lady that checked us in also was cleaning room and stocking the breakfast. She was a hard working woman. Our backpacks did not get picked up by currier service and when my husband came back by taxi to retrieve our backpacks another woman behind the desk was giving him a lecture about the backpacks. The last thing he deserved was a lecture from a hotel. He is not a child and has maneuvered through life just fine. He was treated horribly. Would not recommend staying here. I went outside on the balcony to cut my nails and noticed people dining directly underneath the balcony that had wide openings in the deck. Anything could fall through. I’m certainly glad I didn’t tend to my nails with diners below.
Pros: The hotel was a little tired and could do with some money invested to bring it back to standard The breakfast was outstanding and great value for money. Bathrooms in rooms outstanding. Staff in dining at breakfast very good
Cons: Just needed a little more money spending on outside areas and rooms. Just looked tired from the outside and in need of attention. Very very expensive for what it is and compared to other Propeties. Slightly off Camino trail.
Pros: Comfortable. Clean. Nice room and bathroom.
Cons: Food was ok - average
Pros: The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful and the beds were lovely. We had a very pleasant dinner in the hotel and the young man that served us was very pleasant and attentive.
Pros: The staff were very welcoming to two very tired pilgrims. They helped us print our Renfe tickets, let me take some food and drink to my partner who was not feeling at all well and were very helpful with all questions. The shower was fantastic.

Pros: Staff were welcoming and although we speak very little Spanish met our every need. Food was amazing and good value for money. Hotel was well presented.
Cons: A little isolated
Pros: The village was quaint
Cons: Very strange fellow on reception - possibly the owner. Food not good. Grandma occupied dining room in the evening. Same room used for breakfast but unheated until 07:45. Expensive. No options to eat own food- on Saturday no shops open for a looopmg way.
Pros: This is s wonderful place to stay. It is clean, beautifully decorated with comfortable rooms. The garden is lovely with a miniature castle in the center. The staff are friendly and helpful. There was art on the walls from a local painter. We inquired about purchasing two paintings and the staff was able to arrange for them to be shipped to Madrid for us. The food was excellent and the communal meal helped us meet other pilgrims. Highly recommend this property.
Cons: All was good
Pros: Loved everything! The owners are sisters who were so welcoming (especially loved the welcome sangria/juice) and made sure everything was perfect for us. The room was spacious and clean, lunch excellent, and beautiful outdoor seating area. Right on the Camino so perfect for pilgrims.
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Great place if you have dog. Quiet little village. Good for Santander ferry.
Pros: Bed comfy was given a glass of sangria on arrival . Meal great
Pros: Staying here was a wonderful experience. We were greeted by Carmen with a glass of wine, after a difficult day of walking in strong winds. We were taken care of by Carmen and her sister Imma like we were family. They went out of their way to help and were happy to cater vegetarian and gluten free for both breakfast and dinner. Our room was very clean, warm and comfortable. Staying with Carmen and Imma was like staying with family.
