When we opened up the mini bar it had not been cleaned in a while. Something brown had leaked in the bottom of the fridge. Very gross. We were told another guest had put some of their own things in the fridge and that's what made the mess. So no one ever cleans or looks in the mini bar? We were in a junior suite and you expect the room to be clean. Also there were 6 bed risers stacked up on the bedroom night stand. Will not be back again. Very disappointed in the hotel. You should not have to call the front desk to get your room cleaned.
Very nice building. The place was very well decorated and it was apparent that considerable effort was put into the interior design of my room. There was a very nice fitness center with a full range of equipment (including free weights; a rarity for a hotel) and there were even complimentary earbuds (wifi was $13.95 but earbuds are free? ... Seems odd but thank you.). The whole place seemed very clean on the houskeeping side but there was some building maintenance issues. The staff I encountered were very friendly and hospitible. With the exception of the minibar which was jam packed with the usual assortment of ridiculously priced things there was no fridge. Also, despite the a/c being set to 65° the entire time the room never felt cooler than 75° which makes it very hard for me to sleep. We were on the top floor so I assumed it was the blazing hot sun beating on the building but even at night it couldn't catch up. Lastly the wifi cost $13.95 to use which I thought was pretty steep considering every hotel I've stayed in for the past 10 years or so has included it for free.
This hotel was really clean and tasteful. My room was very comfortable and staff was very helpful. Will stay again next time I'm in town. I wasn't sure where the hotel ended and the business complex or restaurants started. Granted, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I kind of found myself wandering around and in some area's felt out of place in shorts and flip-flops.
Staff was friendly and hotel was very clean. Hotel offers valet service for $20 a night but self-parking garage is directly behind hotel wirh direct access to hotel. Beds are hign which was great for my inlaws and their arthritic knees. Beds were comfortable and the room was well groomed. Breakfast buffet was traditional foods so nothing spectacular but the food was cooked fresh and hot food was always available. The wait staff was very attentive. Overall a nice hotel to utilize when looking for something close to the airport, mall and restaurants- all are within 5 miles. The hotel is attached to business offices so when I opened the curtains I could cleary see people working in their offices and they could see me which forced me to keep the curtains drawn.
close to american board of pathology, shula's steak house, nice room away from elevators with good temperature control, nice tub, pleasant staff a bit pricey, no refrigerator space; last time i was here i was in a room near the elevators and had difficulty sleeping as people go up and down all night
The pool on the roof was very nice, decor throughout hotel was tasteful, staff very friendly Having to pay extra to use the refrigerator in the room- after the cost of the room it should be included.

My room had only lukewarm water and was extremely noisy.
Location, attractive room and lobby, parking garage, nice TV. The high bed, no hot water, difficulty turning on shower, toilet running, broken bathroom door hook, no movie channel.
The staff (not managers) are friendly. My stay at this hotel was entirely disappointing. I requested a room away from the elevators and had called twice to confirm this request and was given a room right next to loud creaky bumping elevators. My friend had ordered me room service to be in my room when I arrived as a surprise and it was never there and would not have been delivered had she not asked how I enjoyed my surprise food. At my insistence I was moved to a different room the next day and the day I left the hotel saw a BED BUG crawling on my pillow as I was getting ready. I alerted the staff who was appropriately horrified only to NOT hear from a manager for the next day and a half. After repeated calls and emails from me including one to a front staff who said she had seen the manager and was surprised I had not heard back only to be lied to by that same manager hours later that she 'only just arrived' and that was why my calls were not returned. Finally after a rant to a lower level manager the front desk manager was all of the sudden made available to me and finally an investigation into the bed bug was launched. What is MOST disturbing is because they themselves had not 'confirmed' this was a bed bug (which is very clearly was...I have photos) they could not tell me for certain that no one else was staying in that room. At the LEAST that room and neighboring rooms should have been closed and checked immediately but the managers were slow to take action and initially very dismissive. It is a DISGUSTING feeling to have the experience of knowing you slept somewhere that has bed bugs and all the effort I had to put in once I got home to try and decontaminate myself and my stuff to not infest my house and my baby's nursery. Most disheartening was the response from the hotel on the matter. I wish this review would let me submit the picture of the bed bug I took. I was forced to stay at this hotel because of an exam that was being given onsite but I will never stay at this or any related hotel again. Not even because of the bed bugs themselves, but because the hotel was so slow to respond and so dismissive, potentially putting others at risk as well by not quarantining the room(s).
Very clean hotel, and courteous staff. Booked this hotel last minute, and only wish I could've stayed longer. I would definitely be back to enjoy that rooftop pool that I missed.

Location and available transportation to airport Stayed at this hotel due to early international flight out the next morning was assigned a room as close to the interstate highway as possible. Needless to say we didn't sleep all night. We were told the hotel was only at 70% occupancy so don't understand why we were given such s terrible room other than booking with Kyak rather than Hilton direct.
right by freeway, no mention of that anywhere. VERY LOUD FREEWAY. they gave us earplugs ... its just kindle a crappy chain hotel. yuk.
Staff were kind and attentive. Gym had all the basic equipment that I use to have a decent sweat. Rooms were updated finely. They had plenty of.good choices for meals. And a refreshing water fruit fusion stand at the front entrance. It was clear, that the hotel was being renovated and maintenance were scattered throughout the hotel. It seemed old in some parts with bad wallpaper . My room area where l stayed, very 80s. But surprisingly, the inside of my room was updated. The balcony was gross.
It was a nice facility. Staff were friendly. Pool was nice. Staff were very poorly trained, almost every step of the way things were done poorly or incorrectly. They didn't have my reservation which was made through this booking agency so we were told we'd have to find another hotel with out kids. No apology. Staff were leaving with piles of hotel cookies for themselves as we just sat there with no place to stay for the night. The hotel blamed the booking agency and said they do this often, I asked why the hotel chooses to work them if they often leave their guests with no room for the night. Obviously the booking agency sells their unsold rooms and this works out for the hotel and they don't care that it sometimes leaves the customer with no place to stay. Finally we asked for a second manager and she was somehow able to get us a room at this sold-out hotel and the first manager then appeared with some cookies for the kids. Room service never brought the drinks we ordered and paid for, the cot didn't have a sheet, the bathroom sink was leaking from a pipe beneath it and the phone lines to the front desk were constantly busy when I tried to tell them about these things. Room service trays were left outside rooms for 12 hours at a time as cleaning staff walked right by, kind of gross to look at. The hotel double billed me for the room I had already paid for through kayak. They billed the credit card that they told me was just for "incidentals."The staff here really need some training in customer service and basic hotel management. One of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. This hotel is very damaging to the Hilton brand.
The staff member (Marcell) was the most professional hotel staff, very nice and we felt so welcomed thanks to Him!! The room was okay, clean and was nice to go on a quick trip. The price was perfect!!
Everything was very clean, beds were very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. We requested a pack n playfoe our room for our baby, which was promptly delivered. The bar/restaurant downstairs is HAPPENING and very loud, but seemed family friendly enough. Balconies on our rooms were nice, but faced a wall. Noisy high traffic area, but if you're looking to stay close to the airport it's totally fine. Rooms are on the small side, so was a bit tough with a young child in tow.

Took my family to Busch gardens for the day, when we checked in we had not eaten and we got room service, the food was horrible, the fries were cold and the kids chicken tenders were burned. The room was old and outdated and had a very week wifi signal. Overall I paid 267 dollars for this one night, when I really should only have paid at the most 150.
I liked the sports bar in the hotel lobby. The rooms were way old and outdated. There was furniture missing from my room and when I asked about it, all they said was to wait until next year and I wouldn't be able to recognize the hotel after its renovation. I had no where to sit except my bed.
Staff there was extremely helpful and friendly. Even with a booking error on my end, they were right there helping me resolve it and getting us to our room as fast as possible. Definitely recommend staying here and will the next time I'm in town for work or leisure.
Open bar of FREE drinks and good hospitality. I love all Embassy hotels and they never put me down. If I have to pay a little extra to stay here I will, no hands down. This hotel was very clean and had everything ready for my request at just a simple push of "front desk" button. If you are in the Tampa area, pick this hotel. The rooms are HUGE and enough room for moving around without having feeling cramped together. Everything was GREAT. No negative feedback!
Friendly staff, excellent room, and the usual full Embassy Suites breakfast. Checked in late for a two night stay. No problem. Room was ready. The hotel is extremely convenient. Large mall across street. Bucs stadium close. Had 3 busloads of Oakland Raider fans in the hotel on second night. Also close to airport with shuttle service available. We'll be back. At least 1 of 3 elevators weren't working. Made for significant delays on Sunday morning.
The hot breakfast was fantastic! Eggs and omelets made to order, yummy baked goods and lots of options to choose from. Also the staff were friendly and helpful. The cocktail hour was a nice touch, too. Bed was comfy and room clean. I would've liked a soaking tub or jacuzzi in the suite. Also there was no channel guide in the room so we had to go through all the channels to figure out what was what.

This hotel is ideally located only minutes from Tampa Airport and brilliant for anyone wanting to spend the night before travelling onward. The deluxe double room has two standard beds, which are smaller than most American hotel beds but fine if sharing with your children. It would not be very suitable for 4 adults. The breakfast is a "self service" buffet style breakfast but adequate given the price.
Supportive and helpful staff, nice pool, rooms very comfortable (particulalry after a transatlantic flight) I understood the breakfast would be a hot buffet but this wasn't the case

The "double" beds are very small. I had a reservation for 4 people and they gave us a room for two. I went to the front desk to look for a solution and they were charging us with extra fees to get a confortable stay. I cancelled the reservation and went to the Marriot accorss the street and we ended up paying almost the same for a bigger room and included breakfast. The Holiday Inn was horrible and the staff had a bad attitude. I'll never visit this hotel again The staff, the room, the service

Clean and comfortable. Probably the best hotel for the price in the area. Place has a bar and restaurant too. Shower didn't shut completely off and room temperature was hard to control. Otherwise, no complaints.

The free shuttle from the airport was why I initially selected his hotel. My sister and I needed an inexpensive hotel for a one night stay near the airport. This fit the bill! The room was ready as soon as we arrived (around 10am) and the shuttle not only picked us up from the airport but also brought us to a shopping mall and dinner for no additional charge! All staff members were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable with lots of new and high end finishes. I would definitely stay here again! No complaints on this hotel. We didn't take advantage of the hotel breakfast so I cannot comment on the food. We went across the street to the Waffle House- which was amazing!
It was just a well needed relaxing 2 night stay...alone! I was in town visiting a friend and the location was accessible to all my needs! The atmosphere was great! The 8th floor gave me an excellent view....I could see the airplanes landing @the airport! Awesome! I am a airplane fanatic! I really enjoyed my stay! Quiet! Who ever else was checked in on the 8th floor with me; I wouldn't know because the hallways were so quiet that you could hear a pin drop! I loved it! Thanks...and the price for all this excellence was great! Thumbs up! Everything was great!
We arrived in the late evening. Shuttle from Airport to Hotel was fast and very convenient. The King Size bed was very comfy and the breakfast was one of the best we had in our 3 week tour along the east coast. Great stay!

The double bed room is comfortable and the business center is open 24 hours, though the ventilation system was out of order for the whole 6 days without repair The 8 floor vending machine was out of order for at least 11 days. the ventilation system in business center was out of order without any repair and we have open the door to breath when using the computers.

Great location on and off the freeway and access to the airport. Very clean and nicely laid out. Very friendly staff. It strikes me as odd that there wasn't a continental breakfast where less expensive hotels will offer a very nice breakfast that is included in the price. In addition, the bathroom in our room was very small and cramped. There is only a quarter of an inch of clearance between the door and commode when you open the door. You have to step over between the sink and the commode in order to close the door.
