Normally I don't like a shared bathroom, but it was absolutely no problem for me. The breakfast was enough for six people. Everyone was friendly and the location was perfect. In fact, I think it is the only place to say in the center of Praesto. I highly recommend.

3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Four poster bed in small smelly room. No table. Bad wifi. Only extremely expensive food in restaurant. Bought one glass wine for 165 dkk. Was charged 1000 kr more than the price st booking.com until I protested. My lousy room with cold bathroom was a junior suite!!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Michelin rewardet restaurant was excellent. The town Præstø very charming.
Cons: We should have planned our stay better regarding total cost that got a bit too much in the high end. I think that one can get at deal at Frederiksminde, that includes room, food and wine.
4.3 Okay
Cons: Old bathroom, four poster bed is not something you wish for during a business trip. Dark room, bad internet. Wanted to charge me more than 1000 kr more than I had booked the room for, for teo days. Apparently my dark room was a junior suite. Overpriced restaurant.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: A very welcoming quaint comfortable accommodation in the country. A nice garden with outside sitting. The good sized room had a fridge and hob with all utensils, crockery and cutlery supplied, also table and chairs which we found to be very useful for our evening meal. There is a front stable door and a rear door onto a patio with table and chairs also adjacent parking - very useful. The breakfast is an extra which was served in the dining room, but it was EXCELLENT. A short walk takes you to the sea and a short drive takes you to the lovely town of Praesto.
Cons: The bed was too soft for me.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect stay, lovely service!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was travelling with my family. There were 5 of us- all adults. We actually loved this place so much that we extended our stay by 2 more days - so a total of 3 days. The location is approx 90 km from Copehagen which was perfect for us since we were driving and it gave us the opportunity to experience and take in the beauty of Denmark during the drive to Copenhagen. The owner of the place was a very fine old gentleman. He and his wife were extremely courteous with us. But what really touched us was his graciousness in allowing us to stay an extra day in the B&B when he was actually leaving for a holiday himself. He told us we could keep the room keys and leave them at a certain place once we were ready to leave. Can you imagine something like this in todays time and age? Thankyou very much to this wonderful gentleman and his wife. The breakfast served was good. A very warm and homely one. The rooms were very comfortable and each overlooks a garden. The main front garden is beautiful with an apple tree right in the center and there are pots lining the garden with cute animal figures decorating the pots. Overall a very tastefully done up place.
Cons: Everything was great
7.5 Good
Pros: Place, breakfast, simpathy
Cons: The flat sheet

9.3 Excellent
Pros: very nice host, very nice room, superbe breakfast, clean, well located
Cons: today, you have to get used to commun facilities, but in this historical building, you accept
7.0 Good
Pros: As per previous reviewers, we enjoyed the genuine, traditional and peaceful atmosphere of this B&B, but we would have appreciated notice when booking of extra charges for linens and towels (of which we never recieved any) as well as for breakfast. Total cost was comparable to a nicer hotel but here we had a shared bathroom and no A/C. Charming hosts, comfortable beds and nice breakfast wheighed up.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful place and the room. Quite an unique place on Danish countryside.
Cons: The rooms can be hot on summer time. Everything is priced rather high.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Historical place, authenticity. Host Jacob.
Cons: Shared bathroom.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful, peaceful location, authentic decorations. We had booked the smallest room, but it fully served our needs. Very friendly & helpful staff. Good value for money.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Outside nice. Old manor house. Inside partly authentic furniture but. Most of them damaged. Optic nice. Big garden. 1h to Copenhagen.
Cons: Very unfriendly hosts. Dogs allowed but definitely not welcomed. (“Dogs destroy the carpets. Dogs make everything dirty.) The dog fee is 300 Krone (appx. 40€) per night. Room fee was 140€ per night for double rooms with additional bed for the child. We hardly could move in the small room. And the most annoying fact: We had to share the disgustingly dirty bathroom with 6 other parties (!!!). Read the description carefully. It is not obvious what rooms are with and what rooms are without bathroom. Breakfast is not included and costs another 15€ per person and night. Also for the 15 years old. We had to sit next to the used dishes of other guests. All in all we went away with having payed 340€ for 2 nights. That is unbelievable. No restaurants nearby. Next beach 10km. I still can’t understand why it is rated so good by some visitors. It is a youth hostel for the price of a good class business hotel. Really a pity. Sorry. No go.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely property with rich history Clean rooms Hospitality Good breakfast Lovely scenery
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely owner Beautiful house with lovely surroundings Great atmosphere inside with guests chatting to each other Nice breakfast with baguette, cheese, ham, egg, juice, coffee, grapes, yoghurt, musli
Cons: Thin walls. Although the owner rightfully requested for guests to not run in the hallways, we were unlucky to have neighbours who let their kids run around and make a lot of noise I always prefer a private bathroom but realised too late that I had booked a room with shared ones
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: We didn't see any staff to enquire about meals or booking breakfast. The rooms were pleasant, but the shared bathroom was in need of renovation to bring it in line with the rest of the property. It was very remote and this wasn't made clear on the booking.com website.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: good breakfast, nice host, wonderful place with lot of history.
