9.5 Excellent
Pros: The welcome Ness and flexibility of Thomas and the kindNess of the staff and the generous food portions, special mention for the breakfast
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We stayed there for two nights and really enjoyed it. You get what you expect - nature, silence and jungle. Thomas is a very flexible and chilled host. We took a hike to Tatai waterfall through the jungle with one of the employees and kayaked back. For breakfast you can request either omelette, pancakes and similar so-called classics. Dinners are made by the host and all guests eat together so it's a nice way to socialise with others. A nice place to switch off and relax.
Cons: We had a blanket but no sheets for it so probably the same blanket has been used by others before, also the pillow cases didn't feel particularly clean, nor did the pillows once I removed the cases before leaving. Other than that no complains.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The resort is located by a very beautiful river, where you can swim and kayak, one of the few paradise-like places can still be found in the region. My 10-year-old said it’s like in a virtual reality. Thomas is genuinely nice and he cooks really yummy home-like dishes enjoyed by almost all the guests despite our taste preferences.
Cons: Cottages could be a bit hot to sleep in during the few hottest days in April given the rest is an eco-friendly resort because there are no fan or air cons, but I respect the way Thomas can make the whole resort work on only a few small solar panels, which reminds us all: Shouldn’t all we live like that? And if and only if you could rough a little bit, this IS one of those paradise places.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing and Thomas and his Khmer colleagues made us feel so welcome.
Cons: There were no doors or windows on our room, but we were not worried about theft, it was more because we are in the jungle and my daughter was scared that wild creatures would enter!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is amazingly beautiful. The bungalows are very well spaced which gives a feeling of isolation in the nature. The food at dinner and breakfast is amazing. Thomas is helping a lot for arranging everything; trips of hike in the forest, Canoeing in the Tatai river or booking a bus. I strongly recommend, especially for nature lovers.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing and the team is here to help you discover this natural environment.
7.5 Good
Pros: This place is very simple, and should be, so everything was as we expected. Nice, cosy and quiet. The food was really good! Very nice to take a swim in the river. And the dinner place next to the water was perfect.
Cons: Nothing to complain about. Of course things could be more comfort, but then it is no djungle resort any more.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We like the nature, swimming in the river, we love that eco lifestyle and beeing connected with nature. The jungle trip was super, we just missed an english speaking guide.
Cons: Too hot during the night. Very very spicy ( but delicious) food, not suitable for kids.

5.4 Okay
Pros: The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the location was close to the centre of the town.
Cons: The bathroom for one floor was the worst I've ever seen. General cleanliness in the guesthouse was bad.
7.9 Good
Pros: Helpful staff. Quietness.
Cons: Nothing
6.7 Good
Pros: Located close to a main road with shops and restaurants, bus service and motorbike taxis ( after a short discussion I had to pay just 3 US Dollars for a motorbike to the Thailand border ). WiFi reliable. This is a simple guesthouse which should be acceptable to any backpacker. Guests in need of a posh hotel might not feel happy at this place.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff! They care about their customers, and make sure they have a good time. The food was nice. For this price, very nice hostel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great sandwiches, great staff, great atmosphere, great tuktuk driver (Sokna)

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The swimming pool was great. It was nice to swim after a day of travelling coming from Thailand. And the people were very friendly and called a tuktuk whenever we asked for it.
Cons: There was one lady that spoke a few words English but the other ones did not speak a single word. As an example: when we asked to pay, the word ‘pay’ didn’t ring a bell. So when this one lady was not around it was hard to communicate.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was lovely and quiet

8.8 Excellent

7.1 Good
Pros: The location and atmosphere of the place was excellent
Cons: It looked a little tired and needed a bit of T L C but the owner gave us a lift across the Thai border and location was beautiful
5.4 Okay
Pros: Place with huge potential, but needs maintenance and professional man.
Cons: Lots of aspects need maintenance.
5.0 Okay

5.8 Okay
Pros: Location bungalows mixed with mangrove
Cons: Can't find reception desk
5.0 Okay
Pros: Great view from our balcony
Cons: Staff not friendly, room not particularly clean, food average.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff were very courteous and polite.room electrical faults were never ending
Cons: Room electrical problems were never ending. Several light were not working after pointing this out the were not repaired. Electric supply to my room kept tripping. This fault was not resolved. Room slippers/flip flops both pairs were about size 4 l am size 8 I didn't get any assistance trying to book trips. Managed to do it all myself. The manager didn't offer or try to help in any problems.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The linen not cso clean and smelly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great overnight stop between Trat and sihanoukville. The place was empty, but the staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Room was big and comfortable and the pool was huge and clean.
6.3 Good
Pros: This property is a huge contrast and contradiction. It feels new but looks worn out in places (the construction project was abandoned than restarted 2 years ago). The location is interesting as you truly sleep in little houses built on stilts in the middle of the mangrove. It has its charm and feeling of semi remoteness. This resort has potential based on its setting but it's in dire need of a manager to shake things up and prioritize the staff's attention.
Cons: Where to start ? I think the best way to describe this 'resort' is that it feels like it comes directly out of North Korea. Facilities are modern but terribly finished. The pool has the ambition of being grandiose but no one looks after it and all the furniture has the grayish tint of weather wear and mold. The restaurant is set every night for 40+ guests even when you are the only one eating there yet you can't seem to get anyone's attention to bring you the food you ordered. Last but not least the staff (numerous) mostly just hangs around doing little other than chat. If asked they try their best to be helpful but it feels like any request for service is received as if asking for a transfer to the moon. One last point of warning. Upon arriving with a confirmed booking.com reservation the staff claimed not to have received any communication from booking.com. It turns out the resort was empty on our first night... so was not an issue ... but be wary and confirm by phone ahead of time if booking on a busy night.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location Beautiful resort Good dinner
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The villas are unbelievable. You can step off your deck right into beautiful clear water for a refreshing swim. There is a gorgeous waterfall a short paddle away. The whole place is kind of weird and whimsical in the best possible way- a completely unique experience. The staff are incredibly gorgeous and the Khmer food was literally the best we’ve had in Cambodia. The setting is unbelievably beautiful, so serene and peaceful.
Cons: There was no WiFi which made it challenging to book the next leg of our journey, although the staff were really helpful and generous with their time. It wasn’t cheap but it was also an incredible and unique experience so I think it was worth the expense. There wasn’t heaps to do but that was perfect for us, we just swam, kayaked, explored the local wilderness and relaxed. Bring lots of insect repellant, the bugs are intense!
4.6 Okay
Pros: The staff was very friendly and kind. The location was very beautiful and quit.
Cons: The staff was very kind but these boys were too young to manage this hotel. The manager stayed in Phnom Penh. Our room looked very nice but we had a lot of insects in our bed, they were on the pillow and the sheets. On the balcony we had 2 chairs but the pillows were old, dirty and broken. We had no canoe which they promised. They told us to bring one which they forgot to do. After swimming in the river we had to use the towel for the bathroom, no extra towels provided. We had not enough toilet paper and no tissues in the box. There were bags with coffee and milk in the room but no kettle to cook the water. There was no drinking water provided in the room. It was not evident to take a shower, you needed instructions to turn on the tap. The food was really bad. I ordered a pad thai and I got fried Aiki noodles wiht some vegetables. The breakfast was terrible. No choice, you could not order all the food on the menu because it was finished already. (we had breakfast at 8.00 am) The drinks (wine, cocktails) were very expensive, a gin tonic for $7 which is way too expensive in Cambodia. Conclusion: this hotel could be one of the most beautiful hotels in the west of Cambodia Perfect location! Because of the bad management this hotel is a disaster , way too expensive! Such a pity!
4.2 Okay
Pros: The location, peaceful and quiet.
Cons: The standard and quality did not match the price - Way to expensive. The place needs Maintenance. No value for the money.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful remote setting , very tranquil. The staff were very friendly and charming especially Bona who we all loved. The staff even managed to source me a birthday cake. A unique experience with trips to the waterfall and jungle trekking, just beware of leeches in the rainy season!
Cons: WiFi not always working, gym equipment looked like it needed updating. It would be great if they had some games and books behind the bar for when it’s raining or quiet. Maybe the gym area could be used as a yoga studio.
7.9 Good
Pros: I really wish i could give this place a rave review - the location is absolutely stunning and the hotel is made with lots of attention to detail and is gorgeous. To end on a more positive note: the staff is new, but motivated and very attentive.
Cons: However, they advertise with WiFi “throughout the property” - we didn’t even have internet in the reception area, which is fine if you know it in advance, but makes the booking of the next leg of the journey very difficult. Moreover, we had no warm water (all the warm water boiler, in every room was broken), we asked for our Kajak 5 times before we just decided to steal one from the neighboring hut, and, while I know this is not the hotels fault, there was a Buddhist holiday and the temple across the river constantly (for 3 days and nights) blasted music/speeches that were so loud, that not even earplugs helped.
