Cons: Price was a bit high for what was on offer - but I was travelling during Golden Week.

Pros: Close to the train station and coffee shop.
Cons: The room was extremely hot. A corner room and drapes were open with the hot sun entering. Air was not on and windows were closed.
Pros: good location & perfect staff
Pros: Convenience, quiet and easy to get around
Cons: Yellow light not conducive for reading
Pros: Comfortable room and bed with adequate space. Friendly staff - they didn't know much English, but they used Google Translate for more complicated topics. Breakfast buffet is very Japanese, not sure what some of the stuff was but there curry, rice, salad, some sort of soup, bread, coffee and juice. I'm not used to having curry for breakfast, but it was nice! Very central location, easy walk to Tobu-Sano Station. Sano Ramen is a must!
Cons: Some things on the desk in the room were slightly dusty. Some fixtures and fittings a bit dated - the old aircon unit in the room was quite noisy on the lowest fan speed setting, and the door requires locking with the key from the outside (there is a message about this on each door, only in Japanese, but was simple enough for me to understand). More about Sano in general: Not the most convenient place in the world, you'll usually have to change trains somewhere else to get anywhere (e.g. Nikko). A lot of restaurants and stuff nearby close fairly early.
Pros: good location, very near to the JR station and easy to find. Room is clean and the movie is free to watch.
Cons: A little bit Noisy, can hear the train and the room besides.
