breakfast 18 euros, not in right relation for this type of hotel
No climatization of the rooms
Good location of the A115 motorway so did not have to head into town. There is a shopping centre 5 mins away which makes shopping easy. There is also a Mc Donalds, Quick and other places to eat 5 mins walk. The reception shuts at 2300, there is a "auto reception machine" which can hand out keys and the code for the gated parking on inserting credit card used for booking. However if you book via a broker like booking.com it will not work. Only works if booked the room direct with the hotel. Best to call the hotel and let them advice you.
Great price, friendly receptionist
The view from the balcony is beautiful as long as yuo have a lake view room otherwise it overlooks peoples gardens to the side of the hotel. We upgraded to a lakeview room at a cost of 25 Euro's a night which was a bit expensive. My partner & I always use this hotel when visiting Paris due to its beautiful location. The cost of Upgrading to a lakeview room, 25 Euro's a night, 8 Euro's a day parking, 15 Euros each for Continental Brakfast, 5 1/2 Euros for a small Beer. This is not a complaint just a moan about the extra costs incurred which ultimately increased the overall costs.
The hotel smelled of cigarette smoke; there was no room in the hotel restaurant to eat dinner
Ambiance, room size and free parking under hotel Could not modify the terms and conditions of the stay. Since it was pre-paid and I had a corporate rate, the overall charge and ability to include breakfast and Internet into the package could not be changed. I should have been more diligent in how the room was booked.
I like the Hotel du Lac because of it's friendly atmosphere, good standard of accomodation, good food and restaurant and excellent location opposite the lake.
surroundings and good standards overall room was too hot and noisy air vent bar drinks overpriced
Fantastic location on the lake; ten minute stroll to the station for regular trains into Paris (about 15 minutes). Good local ameneties (shops, cinema etc).
The place The reception end the cleaning
Room and food.
Near motorway. Open on a Sunday night and food provided. Nice to have tea coffee in room. Ample parking. On your website it was stated no parking space; this could have deterred us but we had visited you before' so we knew better. Directions from the motorway going north could have been better, but fortunately we remembered the way from last time.
Ease of access. Some staff were not overly welcoming. Unable to obtain any drink (Alcohol or other) before 1900 or after 2300 hrs. (2200 hrs on Sunday). Bathroom and tea/coffee consumables not replenished for the 2nd night.
Simplicity double charging of breakfast
Secure car park, easy to find using sat nav! Room on the small side!need a uk news channel would be helpful on the tv! Room floors could have been a little cleaner! Breakfast area could be a little cleaner to.
最低15文字以上ご入力ください Tv was no function.
Restaurant (but I stay here a lot and know the Chef is good - not always as good at other Campaniles) Typically Campanile - too much noise from other rooms. Not as good value for money as it used to be.
This hotel was close walking distance to the Parc des Exhibition for a dog show. They took dogs and had great space for dogs to be walked. Breakfast was very basic and over priced but not many options in the area. Shower was great though! It is quite old and smells a bit when you walk into the rooms. Linens are rough and they only have 2 twin beds or one Queen option. They do not put three people in a room. Had my son with us that sleeps in our bed. They would not allow it. Fire dept has to know how many people in each room and it was a problem to tell them there was three in our room for some reason. Then all of a sudden it was ok. Anyway, make sure to book exactly as described. The comment section of Booking.com does not go to this hotel.
Value for money was excellent. It was a good choice when the room was just for sleeping in. Breakfast arrangments could have been a little better. Whilst I appreciate it was only 8 euro's per person it probably needed a little more personal touch. You were very much left to sort yourself out.
It was an economy trip first time traveling to France it was an Okay place for the price might not used it again The hotel was under renovation should have mentioned it on the website some of the staff were not as welcoming as some others. One attendant spoke Spanish and English and he was very welcoming and friendly
Clean and comfortable. One light not working on arrival.
Staff very helpful, going the extra mile to help with various things we needed. Safe place, good parking for large family car, close proximity to train station into Paris, with good grocery shop right outside the hotel. The kitchens were very handy for us, we had four teenage kids and it was convenient to always have something in the fridge. Internet did not work and the attempts from the hotel to fix the problem failed. This is not set-up as a business hotel.
The cooking facilities. Late night noise from other residents. Difficulty finding it.
Rooml was clean and functional. The hote sits on what appears to be a redundant building site. I asked for a hairdryer and the hairdryer could not be found. If you want the room serviced you have to pay 10 euro per day extra, which we were not advised.
The location is quite close to Paris (30 min by car from the downtown provided there is no congestion). The apartments for 4 people are quite functional, with kitchenette and two rooms. A good way to stay close to Paris and save money. The rooms are very basic. The douche in our bathroom was broken, and water would stay in the sink. The area is not inspiring at all: construction works all around. The roadworks in St-Denis (that would continue until somewhere in 2011) made the trip from Paris to the hotel a real nightmare. The bed in the living room was rather small even for 2 kids.
price, close locations of supermarkets, kitchen facilities in the room Internet! extreamly expensive and did not work!!! it'd better not to offer it at all!!! so if you need internet during your travel - choose another hotel!!!
The willingness to help - staff. The cleanliness. The quietness. The provision of bed linen/towels Not well signposted when coming from Domont direction. Crockery/ Cutlery rather poor in quantity. E.g. there was no kettle, no tea spoons, only one knife. It would have been nice to have some saches of coffee, tea, sugar, milk - to make a cup of coffee/tea on arrival.
I think it is an excellent price for this time to travel, especially for a familiy trip.
It was very hard to find this hotel. Without a map or GPS, it is impossible for a foreigner to reach there.
Handy position coming from UK to Paris.Good staff and relaxed atmosphere.Pleasant area to have a beer after work.
Obliger de dormir dasn la famille car la clef n'etait pas prã©sente a l'endroit prã©vu
Very cinvienient to the Town. Easy to find. The room was very smelly. Prieiouse guests had been smokeing
friendly helpful staff (we speak no French) Our room had been used by a smoker
Very well run hotel managed by a nice and helpful family.
It was quiet and I always enjoy having a kettle in my room for making extra cups of tea early morning and late at night. The staff were helpful. It was not exactly in the town but some way out and quite difficult to find.
I like in thie hotel the proximity of the motorway, about 1km, and close to paris.
The bathroom was ok, but the towels were very old and the roughness not good. There is no electricity converter for international conectors.
It was not as close to paris as i have been told by booking. i would not use the campanile Sannois - Ermont.
Our room was very adequate for our needs and we liked the fact that a restaurant was available at the location.Staff were very helpful.
It was easily accessible from motorway and within easy reach of paris city centre. It was quiet and clean. Breakfast was good. They did not do what they said they would do. eg putiing an extra single bed in one of the rooms for my youngest child. But having sain that, I dont know why they agreed to itin the first place because the room size was not big enough to take an extra bed, and we managed anyway.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Warm reception and atmosphere. Very pleased with room - the standard of facilities / cleanliness was exceptional for 2 stars. We travelled by motorcycle, and found the parking to be secure and private. Some people might be put off by the 30 - 45 minute walk to the train station, but we really enjoyed the local scenery and small town charm of the highstreet. Hardly worth mentioning, but there was no lock on the bathroom door.
all very good service A* transportation, we spent alot on taxis to and from hotel
Excellent staff. Madame on reception was extremely helpful on the telephone, discussing details of our booking, and very welcoming when we arrived. Also the night porter: friendly and helpful. And the man in charge next day, too. Excellent breakfast; very good value. Turned up by mistake at the 'other' Balladins hotel, just around the corner, where the receptionist, chewing gum and talking on the phone, was in no hurry to help and gave us incorrect directions to the correct hotel. In the end, a hotel guest took pity on us and explained how to find it.
private parking small rooms
Clean basic room. 2 good restaurants 100 metres away. No opening window, just a door (which had to be closed for security at night), so very hot. Located in an industrial estate.
Local to my requirements Hot water failed - no hot shower, but these things can happen any where, it did not put me off the hotel!
Good value for the money Would prefer to have a pioper shower
Breakfast Hotel impossible to find due to bad directions and no signage. In industrial park.
Save parking, silence, good breakfast
It was very quiet, clean. The breakfast was adequate. The location was in an industrial zone and was very hard to find.
Terrible, dirty room, no air conditioning, no ability to lock the door meant I had staff open up without knocking on the door.
Good budget hotel with free car park. Within driving distance to Paris City Centre (30-45mins). Small and compact rooms.
I stayed at the hotel during the transport strike in Paris and I found the staff were really helpful despite the problems i had getting taxis etc. The Wi-Fi was pretty temperamental and the computer they had in the lobby to use instead was ancient!
I didn't like my stay, didn't feel welcome. The staff are not really helpful.
The room was very clean. And proximity to Paris was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We are a family of 5 and there was a double bed, and bunk bed which were great but no room for a cot. So luckily our 3rd child fit in our bed.
The price was fair. Hard to get around. No metro near buy, only buses.
Staff made great efforts to make up for absences and vacations, and ensur ethat normal catering services were provided.
Small but clean room. Good beds. Small bath tub but everything in place. We liked the private parking and the the quietness of the neighbourhood. If you visit Paris by motorbike (like we did)/bike/car and you don't want to pay 100 eur/night, this hotel is is perfect. We booked a non-smoker room but there was for sure a smoking odour in the room.
Clean reasonably quiet Bed very small double and pillows not of high standard
Good clean room, however a little small for 2 adults and a three year old. Location was a little too quiet.
Friendly service, comfortable room
Nothing Dirty room, bloodstained sanitary ware. Noisy lift shaft.
Close to where I needed to be The opening hours of the reception desk
Good value for money,
The area around the hotel was free from heavy traffic and noise. There was a bus stop nearby offering a ten minute ride to the railway station. Lacked atmosphere, character and information about anything. On arrival we had to request clean pillow covers and bath towels. The shower head holder was broken. We had to use an out of hotel telephone kiosk to make calls home.
Clean, basic, value for money. The staff are excellent- friendly, helpful and cheerful. Food and service excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and would go again. Hotelin lovely area, quiet hotel but busy outside. Nothing
La propreté Petit déjeuner trop limité en choix
Good value for money Basic accomodation but clean
There was a distinct bad smell in the room like the floor was cleaned with a dirty mop. I got several bites on my left hand and arm using the blanket to keep me warm. The check in machine was absolutely appalling, kept saying there was no such booking!!
I paid 4, 80 for breakfast that includued only a variety of bread products and a small bowl of cereal. Totally insuffiecient. The hotel is fine, but the breakfast needs to be avoided.
nothing. the room was dirty, not cleaned smelling cigarettes. We have left the room without sleeping init
NOTHING at all. Breakfast offered- very basic, nothing to chose from. Just plain bread, butter and jam/honey to go with it. Tea/coffee/warm milk. The room was awful- very outdated, if you had a shower the whole bathroom floor was covered in water. We could hear the taffic, people coming and going around. Summing up- complete disaster!
Cheap Bit noisy
The receptionist was very friendly but professional producing hairdryer, iron, scissors and extra pillows when requested. The breakfast was excellent. It was mostly quiet at nights. It was surprisingly basic. Shower rose was not attached to the wall. Two pillows each would have been more welcoming. The standard light did not work and cables looked as if they needed attention. Cosy seats would have added to the experience.
The room was little but for one night it was ok. Breakfast was good with freshly baked bread and croissants, 1 kind of cheese and one kind of meet, jam, nutella, honey and boiled eggs but the boiled eggs were very very cold. There were different kind of cornflakes but no milk was provided. Only one cup of (very strong) coffee was offered, they haven't asked if we wanted a second one. The coffee did waked me up which I needed because I hardly slept that night because the bed was to small and very hard. We also got a twinbed, while we had made a reservation for two single beds.
All at ground level, rooms good, parking good. Evening restuarant meal started too late.
Crean room, We could not use creduit card.
Rooms were clean and tidy and the 'themed' approach was certainly different. Rooms also quiet and undisturbed Hotel locked up on arrival at 21:00hrs; no response from contact numbers given nor at Restaurant 100m away (other contact point if closed; ret. Also closed!). No-one available to allocate room so colleague and I had to sort through keys and find rooms that were ready for occupation. Rooms booked on basis of late arrival (business guests).
The room and the people
Enchanting room, delightful and accommodation staff
Very clean comfortable room and excellent bathroom Very small selection for breakfast and small dining area. Car par only for 4 cars
Rooms are very nicely decorated and pleasant. Nice little village, quiet Average restaurant
The owners were very welcoming and friendly, making you feel at home. There was a very relaxed ambience in the restaurant, with quality food and wine. The restaurant appeared to be very popular with local residents. Rooms have an individual theme in the decor, and they are immaculate. A great choice if you want to visit Paris but do not want the hustle and bustle of staying in the centre.
nice restaurant but expensive
Village location close to Paris. Individuality of the rooms. Excellent associated restaurant. Charming host. Street noise. Limited hotel parking.
Very warm welcome by managers of this family run hotel. Excellent dinner at fair prices.
