There is also a sign outside main road which points you in the right direction.

There is a small pool, 2 friendly dogs and a pretty cat. This was our 5th visit.

Pros: Renaud and his wife were most hospitable, and very understanding and helpful when we needed to sort out a small family emergency. The pool was a welcome addition in the 38 degree heat. Lovely comfortable stay, shame it was so short.
Cons: A little bit challenging to find, but definitely worth the effort!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant stay amongst the vineyards. Quiet, friendly people, interesting architecture in the bedroom, books to read (if you have time), wine tasting experience provided.
Cons: Nothing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is a bit out of town so unless you have your own car, there is nothing for miles around. The nearest town is Puisseguien. But if you have that sorted, this is a beautiful little place. Francessa ( hope I got the spelling right) is a wonderful and warm host. Really felt at home with the stories of the Hippo and the vineyard. The breakfast was hearty and again felt very much like home. We did do a longish wine tasting with her which we enjoyed greatly. So if you would truly like to live in a vineyard and drive with the top down through the winding roads of the vineyard this is the place for you. We loved our room too which had these nooks and corners and some character !

Cons: Some cheese might have been nice with breakfast, but I was so full I didn’t ask whether we could have any.

A very nice restaurant in walking distance and the market on the Sunday morning within walking distance was a bonus.

Overview Reviews
Located in Puisseguin, La Maison des Aurelines is within a 10-minute drive of Chateaux Beausejour and Langlais and Chateaux Vieux Mougnac. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is very rural. A working vinery. House very old and rustic. Very quiet. Nothing fancy but we loved the setting
Cons: All good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Situated in the midst of well kept vineyards the around 300 year old Mansion tells its own story. Listen well and you will hear a lot.. Serene, no light pollution at night, hardly a sound, inviting to meditate or do some writing. It feels like the massive limestone walls are breathing, regulating freshness. Very special and impressive indeed. Want to have some different kind of entertainment? Bordeaux is et less than one hour. A great deal of our successful stay in January 2018 must be attributed to our very kind and helpful hostess. Thank you for everything!
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This little retreat was perfect for our needs as a family. Our kids were thrilled with their room, and we were thrilled with ours. The breakfast was hearty and plentiful, and we were only a few driving minutes from many charming little towns. Best of all, though, were the hosts. They were kind, warm, generous, funny, and truly a pleasure to spend time with. They gave us a tour of their working winery (with a tasting), and did everything they could to make our stay an exceptional one. This is not a luxury property: it is rustic and a bit off the beaten path. But we would not have traded our time here for anywhere else. Thanks for a wonderful few days. This was truly the highlight of our vacation.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This property is excellent value for money. We received a very warm welcome from our host that included a personalized tour of the vineyards and the family's wine production. A welcome change from the tours of large, more commercialized wineries in the St Emilion region. Breakfast was delightful, not only on account of the good food but the friendly conversation with our host. The house is rustic but charming. It is off the beaten path in a quiet and very scenic area. As it is somewhat difficult to find, it is best to check out directions beforehand.
Château La Rose Perrière - Lussac - Building

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was an amazing property! The Chateau and estate are beautiful. Our room was superb, clean and exactly as shown in the photos. The bathroom is one of the best we have stayed in. The view out over the gardens and vineyards is perfect with a bottle of wine. The welcome bottle of wine was a nice touch, breakfast good, wine tour good. Overall, we loved our stay here and would highly recommend to anyone.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I would definitely recommend this accommodation. We stayed here and visited the Saint Emilion vineyards which were all in a great area to the hotel. It is just beautiful and great value for money. There’s no restaurant for dinner on site but we had a lovely breakfast and restaurants are all very close. If you want a lovely relaxing stay in a beautiful french setting I would choose this location. Beds very comfortable also.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved the beautiful setting, in the vineyards and gorgeous room and bath! The facility was immaculate. We enjoyed the simple, but more than adequate breakfast, which awaited us at a set time in the morning.
Cons: We loved everything about La Chateau Rose Perrière. It is beautiful, with only three guest rooms, as part of a gorgeous wine Estate. Guests need to plan to drive to a nearby village for dining.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the property is amazing. Large room, very comfortable bed, friendly staff and a lovely breakfast. The gardens surrounding are simply breathtaking. Great wine.
Cons: To be a little picky, some additional amenities such as plates and cutlery would have been helpful. The property is a little remote so we had baguettes and cheese/meat for one evening meal. The setting was amazing, but the extras would have been helpful.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location in the vineyards. The staff were amazing and gave us a tour of the vineyards as well as a tasting! Our bathroom looked out on the vineyards, it was perfect.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is truly a hidden gem at less than 15 minutes from St. Emilion. The perfect gateway for few days - there are only 3 rooms so it is extremely private. The rooms were very cozy and the bathrooms were extremely clean and big. Breakfast was very good (we have been asked what we want to eat a day before) and our hostess was extremely pleasant. The wine was good - I only tasted one of the wines, but I will taste more when I get back home :) A great experience! Note: although I am in France for one year, I live in the U.S. (so the French flag next to my name is not very accurate).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Otelin banyosu Check-in saatinden sonra vardığım halde resepsiyon görevlileri gelmemi beklediler. Nezaketlerinden dolayı teşekkür ederim. Although I arrived after check-in hours, the receptionist has waited for my arrival. Thank you for their kindness. The garden
Cons: Breakfast could be much more better. The breakfast cannot be considered good for such type of a luxurious and expensive hotel. I couldn't pay with credit card because there was a problem with the machine. I was lucky that I had cash with me. I was expecting a more welcome countryside hotel but what I found out was a hotel like five star chain hotels. The hotel seemed to me more money minded yet I was expecting a rural hotel with amateur spirit.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful view of the vineyard from our window, cozy room and nice bathroom, very beautiful garden - perfect for a stroll, small hotel, feels personal and quiet, interesting wine tour and tasting, good breakfast (you can choose from a list what you want for the next morning, e.g. egg, fruit, croissant, etc), around 15 min to St. Emillion
Cons: The bed was much too soft
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was so beautiful, quiet and really exclusive.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The property is beautiful - the gardens mixed with the vineyard are superb. The location is perfect. So quiet and incredibly tranquil and yet close to St Emilion. Our welcome from Valerie was delightful and the wine tasting when we did arrive was a very welcome 'bienvenue '.
Cons: Our only comment would be that the bed was not very good. For us it was small and it was too soft in the middle meaning we did not sleep very well.

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Laura and her family were consummate hosts, not only ensuring that we’re comfortable but welcoming us as an extension of their household. The property was secluded and quiet with a lot of space for our young one to run around on. He didn’t want to leave the two family dogs behind. Mike’s local lore of wines and vineyards provided an excellent back drop to home cooked dinners. We would definitely go back if we were to visit Bordeaux again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful home and a wonderful experience to stay. It was so welcoming and we will definitely be returning. They make you feel very at home and I couldn't ask for any more from a lovely week away. Love the food and the hosts couldn't do enough for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable beds and very clean room. Nice large clean pool and pool area with shadow possibility. Quiet and beautiful surroundings. Very kind and service minded hostess who helped in any way she could to make our stay pleasant. Lovely and well behaved pets.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Laura is the best hostess you will find anywhere in the world! Staying with her is a truly wonderful experience! The Château is beautiful. Laura has a superb knowledge of the area and helps you make choices about where to visit based on your perfectly suited requirements. She welcomes you into her home so warmly that you feel like you’ve known her all your life.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a short but lovely stay at the Chateau. The hostess, Laura, was warm, kind and helpful. The building is gorgeous, the pool very nice (especially with the hot and dry spell in the area!), we had a whole floor for the kids and the parents (2 bedrooms only on the floor, with a bathroom in each!) but it is the kindness of our host and her detail to attention that made our stay really special. Laura booked a dinner a nearby restaurant that was nice. The breakfast in the yard was nice, and we felt we could take our time to enjoy it. Laura booked a tour and wine tasting in English in a nearby Grand Cru Classe St Emillion Chateau and it was better than the one we booked by ourselves. We felt welcome and that was a good feeling. We would like to come back and stay longer! Thanks, Laura!
Cons: The heat wave was tough, but nothing to do with Laura and the property. No AC, but we had a powerful fan and were able to have a cool draft with the skylights that made our sleep as good as possible.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely comfy beds and great pool for the Kids, plus Laura was the best Host ever! Thank you for making us feel so welcome xx
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are very welcoming. There was good tea and coffee facilities and the bedrooms were thoughtfully furnished. All modern furniture with everything matching within the colour scheme. Breakfast was very pleasant and we paid extra to have an evening meal which was excellent as well. The owners were very obliging. We were meant to stay for only two nights but liked it so much that we stayed for a further night and cancelled our next hotel. Would definitely recommend.
Cons: I am not sure if this is a "French way", but the beds were not made up every day and no replenishment of shower gel otherwise couldn't fault it.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Laura was very helpful and the breakfast was superb. The Chateaux is in a beautiful setting, but a car is essential.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, beautiful, clean room, very comfortable beds. Laura is an excellent host, very helpful. We recommend to stay here.

Cons: Nothing not to like. Only bad thing although not bad for us as we had a car is that there is nothing I could see within walking distance eg restaurants, shops.

Rooms very quiet and well insulated against noise and quite large. The place is in a quiet tranquil location overlooked by vineyards and there is plenty of tables and chairs to sit outside and enjoy the scenery.

9.3 Excellent

Pros: Merlot room is lovely - large room, beautiful bathroom with jet bath tub and sauna room. The windows are small in the Merlot room so the view is limited but we picked it to muffle the noise from the road. Noise from the road didn't keep us up and we're very light sleepers. Pros: Fabulous location and a fabulous host! Six of us stayed here for a long weekend at the end of June 2019 and it was absolutely perfect as a comfortable base for touring the vineyards. We were there during the heatwave and the swimming pool was amazing - perfect temperature and a great size for just six people. Highly, highly recommended.

Pros: The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. Very nice bathroom.
Cons: The room was perfectly comfortable and clean. We ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening and thought the menu was over- ambitious. We would have preferred more classic French dishes.

Cons: Limited vegetarian options on the menu. No separate shampoo and conditioner. Very minor issue.

Pros: Love the location - so close to Saint Emilion. Loved the look of the Chateau and the quiet swimming area. The dinner was lovely and the Chateau's wine was fab too.
Cons: The shower in the bathtub didn't work so we had to take a bath before our dinner. The bathroom facilities could be made more modern.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had a rather long stay of one whole week. So, when I write a description, I am confident that I have been able to know this place very well. Chateau Laborde, and the host family, have exceeded my expectations of hospitality and friendliness. The property is in a sprawling compound, and the rooms itself are located in a historical building, which has been refurbished with all modern amenities. The Aduberts, who run the place, lives right nearby, and own and work in the vineyard adjoining the property. They punctually provided a full breakfast during my stay, and allowed me to use other amenities in the property whenever needed. They were kind and excellent hosts, who also helped me with my transportation to and from the property. And despite the fact that I did not speak French, the host was patient in communicating with me, as he could speak English. So, to sum-up, a beautiful and quiet place with friendly and welcoming hosts. International travelers would also find it a great option to explore the rural vineyards in this part of France. I totally recommend this place!
Cons: I was looking for a peaceful setting surrounded by vineyards, and this is exactly what I found in the property. Those who may be seeking urban comforts and pace of life may find things a little quiet.

Serge and Nathalie were the most gracious hosts for the two of us and our little dog Daisy - full of recommendations of the best local places to eat and even took us on a tour of their vineyard. The room we stayed in was so lovely and spacious with a great view overlooking the vineyards - we loved our stay!

Pros: Small hotel over a restaurant ideal for visiting the St Emillion wine are. Very good English spoken by the Lady of the house. Good parking either in public car park in square opposite or the restaurant car park round the back. Well worth staying here just for the food in the restaurant which excellent and was probably the best I've ever had in France.
Cons: Booking paper said arrival from 16.00 when in fact it is 18.00 when they start setting up the restaurant.

Cons: Being picky I’d say the rooms are a bit small, but to be honest I’d have slept in a cupboard because for the food it’d be worth it...
