Its new. Plus the location. it is 15 mins walk to the train station to go to center of barcelona,. and also 10 mins walk to the beach, on the way , you can see many stores. I like the fact that its not in barcelona center. away from the noise. but still convenient for both car and walking. its 10 mins ride to center if use a car. none
Cheap for GSM tradeshow The Taxi to the show is 25 Euros one way. There is a train 15 minutes walk but never took it.
Design is excellent! Good location. close to beach and not far from Barcelona
Very nice and clean room. Friendly, english speaking staff. No disturbing noise at all was heard during our stay.
No parking, air conditioning was not working, needed to change room.
Nice staff and nice design Breakfast far below the usual 4star level in Spain, no choice of fresh fruit. The shower was always overfloating to the room, very ennoying. Situation rather noisy next to high way.
The friendly staff, the cleanliness of rooms and the design. It was also very quite with no noise in the day or night. The food was really great as well. One of the best hotels and best value hotels we have stayed in in Spain. No everything was great.
The convenience of being near to train station and therefore Barcelona without having to deal with the heavy traffic in Barcelona. Easy walk to station with interesting shopping on the way. Apart from not getting a bed for my 13 year old - all was good.
Very polite hotel staff, free internet and classy room. Veery goooodaa ;)
Hotel staff was very friendly, near to Barcelona There was railway between the hotel and beach.
The location is very good - just some metres from the beach. And very good connection to Barcelona by train.
I liked the amazing view from our balcony and your beds. They are really comfortable. There was smell of sewage and there were a lot of ants in our room.
I booked room with double bed but when I entered the room there were 2 single beds. Staff said double in Spain means 2 beds. Anyway they changed the room. There were no hair dryer and second blanket in the room but you can ask for them at the reception. There was no switch for heating so we could not turn on the heating.
Service was great, hotell staff was really kind and they helped us whenever we asked.I would choose the same hotel if I go to badalona again
The greatest thing about this hotel is its location - it is only a couple of minutes from the Badalona station, and the centre of Barcelona is about 20 minutes by train. However our stay was not complication free (the air condition unit was broken first night), the reparation was made as soon as possible and the compensation was offered.
t was exactly what I had expected. The rooms were just as specified. Excellent
the closeness of the sea
The view The train
This is the second time we have stayed here and we're still very pleased with the overall friendliness, professionalism and courtesy of the staff. The rooms are a decent size, well decorated & spotless. The location is ideal for easy on/off access to the motorway. Overall, very good value for money.
The staff are very friendly
Easy access for the AP7 motorway. Good parking. Service at the bar very poor. Constantly had to go to reception to get someone to serve us. Food in restaurant pretty average. Expensive for what you get.
Great hotel in great location just off the motorway ( but you couldn't hear it) friendly staff, nice swimming pool and nice restaurant and the availability of bar snacks. Comfortable family room, a definite stop point for the trip to southern Spain.
Location For Catalonia Circuit, Outlook, Facilities, Look, Restaurant, Pool, Staff, Everything Saturday night there was a private function in the restaurant, in addition to a full restaurant. There should ahev been more staff on. We were ok but some people waited over an hour for attention.
not enough TV programs (German, English), no Fitness
Service at pool bar was slow
The staff were friendly and helped us with everything we needed if i didn't order a starter but my partner did the waiting on staff would bring my main out at the same time as his starter
Peaceful location and good evening meal.Perfect stop over.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was immaculate, bed huge, bathroom lovely, plenty of wardrobe space, lots of windows, couldn't fault the hotel at all. Maybe parking could be free or cheaper.
The staff was very friendly and helpful; some of the rooms are very spacious; the entire hotel is completely new; breakfast was very good. Due to the fact that the hotel is so new, there were still some "start up" problems, and we had to change rooms a few times. However, staff was very professional in dealing with them.
That the hotel staff reacted immediately when we noticed some small untidiness in the bath. They even sent complimentary champagne and chocolate as an apology. The next day at checkout - they did not charge for car park either - complimentary again. The hotel itself is easy to find - it looks like a castle and stands out from other buildings. Breakfast was good too.
The hotel was very good, not very far away from the beach and from the train station. The location was good, 30 minutes by train from Barcelone. The beach was not very far and the town is enjoyable. The room had a swimming pool view, which did not belong to the hotel and it was quite noisy during the day. Saturday night there was an open air party at the swimming pool. Quite noisy I would say.
Friendly personal, clean smart looking rooms, nice breakfast No restaurant in the hotel, relatively far from the beach
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice historic building located in a nice little village just few miles from the coast.
The setting is lovely, the room and its beds were great. Lovely garden. The pool was dirty. It was more like a B&B, or chambre d'hôtes, as the whole family lives in this small hotel, and uses all the customer space. One felt like an intruder at times. The hôtel did not offer any food at all, just breakfast. This could all be due to the fact that we were at times the only guests. The economic crisis is strong in Spain.
An oasis in a hillside town with a friendly and amiable atmosphere; the host was both courtious ad helpful. No
this hostel is very calm and plesant for holidays nearby Barcelona
quiet location. good views over to vineyard slopes. great evening meal. steep drive down to parking area, but not a big issue.
Nice location, personalized service Not for business. Wireless in the room goes on-off. gsm reach limited too. Bfast could have some choice (fixed menu)
Staff very friendly and understanding, unfortunately I expected more of this hotel and hence my comments with regards to the negative sides of the hotel description. The images on booking.com misrepresent the rooms in reality. All in all a little dissapointed. Hotel offered to change the room for a similar one as shown in the images.
An nice boutique hotel - very good service, excellent ability in several languages, great cuisine, quiet pastoral setting near large urban area all amenities without urban noises and hassles. The road off hte main road A5002, was a suprise- we did not think any hotel off this washed out road was possible, but we continued and were delighted to discover Porta d'Alella perched on a hillside!
Location, staff and quality of food was very good
The comfort, the ease of acces to the train station and the beach. The buffet breakfast had few options and hasn't change at all for 10 days.
big balcony with sea views (there is only two rooms with big balcony). beach and trainstation was near. nice little hotel. room furnitures was old. breakfast was boring and same everyday.
only that location . realy i did not like the hotel at all bucause the pictures that i saw at the net are not the same in the hotel which was so bad to me and my family .
The Hotel front is main road very busy road and nise too mach.
No bar or restaurant also building work going on at the hotel and no mention of this at the time of booking. Got charged €6 day for parking my car as well.but I think this nshould be free if you are stayingn at the hotel. Breakfast very limited and the same wouls have bben nice to have some variation.
nice hotel staff, very helpful and courteous far too noisy due to the main road in front of the hotel
convenient location (5 mine to the subway 20 minutes to the center of Barcelona). good service for the price. thin walls (can hear the TV sound from next room), shared bathroom, staff does not speak English
It was central, and friendly staff. Very basic but value for money. Clean and reasonably comfortable. Nice sun terrace. There was no internet connection except in the front hall where the seating was limited and uncomfortable. It was also rather noisy throughout the hotel
Friendly stuff, helpfull, hotel close to a see, i the center of small city (a lot of shops etc available, small really clear room Bad wifi quality, thin walls :)
Right in the older center of Badalona. Simple, actually not a real hotel and in fact more of a hostal of which some rooms have inroom bathing facilaties. Very cordial desk people, but you need to understand and speak some spanish. Parking € 8 a day right next door in the yard. Just a stroll away from center, shops, restaurants, beach, train station etc. Only 20 min train from Barcelona P.za Catalunya. Free wireless internet (only in lobby but signal does not reach rooms). But not a place to stay more than 2 days. Wireless internet does not reach in the room. NO breakfast, but so close to one of many cafés so not a big problem. Rooms and bathroom could do with more heating.
The best is place of the hostel. It's situated near the sea in suburb of Barcelona. The price is also intresting. Staff doesn't know English.
Friendly staff, simple and affordable room, lots of shopping nearby (just go toward the beach) and a large grocery store, beach in walking distance. I stayed in a single with a shared bath: there is a sink in the room you can use for brushing your teeth and things. Shared bathroom is fine for a quick shower and toilet use. Nice location just outside the city. Very thin walls.. I slept with earplugs in and I still woke up my neighbor's evening friend. A bit of a walk to the metro, wouldn't recommend it if you're wanting to do a lot of Barcelona sight-seeing.
Basic clean two star hotel. Convenient location near to railway station with direct trains to airport (€3.50), close to racing circuit, on-street parking not a problem. Free Wi-Fi. Tapas bar next door for food. Hotel is next to the Repsol garage if you can't find.
how close it was to our desternation to basic not clean
There was a lot to like about the Hostel. The fact it was almost directly opposite a tube-station on a line which also goes to the centre made it the perfect compromise between quiet surroundings and accessibility to the city. The staff welcomed us when I arrived and gave us the full lowdown on surrounding businesses if we did not want to venture into the city at any one time. Going to the beach there was utterly brilliant, it was little used but had a life-guard right there, and the sea was beautilful. The twin-room was basically furnished but it had ample storage, the bed was really comfy and the air conditioning worked well which was a relief. The en-suite was also good. A very minor point but the shower seemed to work on a timed-basis, which was a little inconvenient, but I can see how it suit the dormed rooms, if not the two-person ones!
i thought it was okey, good price with a smal breakfast in the price, near to the beach and metro station, far to the bathroom,
Remember this is a hostel not a 5* hotel. Basic facilities but convenient for the town centre via the excellent transport system. Friendly people but they left you alone if you wanted privacy. Most important - receptionists are on the wavelength of the traveller. Unusual to have breakfast without plates so you had to eat rolls off a napkin. That's only minor.
Friendly staff, good location, value for money. Functional distance from room to bathroom and toilet
It was right across the street from a metro/subway station and not too far from the beach. The noisiness of the people at night. People seemed to stay up all night. It was like living in a college dorm with activity at all hours. We had people who were staying at the hostel sitting on the sidewalk in front of the hotel playing music and talking until 4am. We had to leave at 6am the next morning so we did not get any sleep that night.
