Pros: Beautiful and peaceful place, very kind owners, excellent breakfast, they make you feel like home.
Pros: We love this place.
Cons: No dogs allowed any more.
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, absolutely excellent food. We really enjoyed a small restaurant serving homemade meals, all of them of very good quality. Forget big menus like a book in other restaurants, visit and enjoy their cuisine. Property is very clean, beds comfortable, everything OK
Cons: We missed hair dryer, but it is not so important
Pros: Excellent place, very nice hosts
Pros: Very quiet place on the edge of a very quiet village. The whole area is beautiful. The hotel was a modest family owned place, very comfortable and very clean. The family managed restaurant is very good, and gives the whole stay a warm friendly feeling, also because after sunset there is nothing to do and nowhere else to dine or go to. Owners were friendly and their daughter, who served us in all of our meals in the restaurant, spoke fluent English.
Cons: I think a little kettle with 2-3 tea bags in the room can be very helpful, due to the fact that the restaurant closes pretty early
Pros: Penzion u Hanky is an amazing, family run place that made us feel really welcome. It is great value for money with an amazing view at the foot-step of Low Tatra mountains. It is a perfect spot for mountain hikes. The staff are really friendly and helpful. It is peaceful and quiet. The breakfasts are really good and you can expect a different dish each day. The restaurant uses locally grown or gathered products (e.g. mushrooms from the forrest next door). The rooms are neat and well arranged.
Cons: Can't think of a single thing.
Pros: All the place, the meals and the stuff were great. We got very delicious meals and we had all our wishes.
Pros: The guesthouse is placed near the superb hiking, skiing and chillout places. It has a super friendly and helpful staff, but the very best of all was the food - all the freshest and home made cuisine including their own bread. They will make you all kinds of diet, whether you eat meat, or, like my girlfriend, you are vegan and gluten-free person. Our stay was simply perfect and we will definitely visit this special place again.
Cons: Everything was good, maybe just the bar closed a bit early since we stayed with them out of the tourist season and I couldn't enjoy their great beer later in the evening :)
Pros: Nice and calm stay with beautiful mountain views. Very good food at the restaurant and super nice staff! Owner is kind and helpful to suggest best hiking trips around and his daughter offers great advise on the food to choose in the restaurant.

Pros: Fabulous place and in season would have been excellent
Cons: Sadly none of the wellness was open
Pros: The hosts were very warm and welcoming. They offered us maps of Slovensky Raj so we could plan our trekking in advance. The breakfast was quite good, though not excellent, but provided sufficient sustenance for the day's challenges. The room and the bathroom were quite spacious, and there also was a balcony with a pleasant view over nearby hills. There is a grocery store about 150 metres down the street. The hosts also offer a visit to the wellness area, which exceeded our expectations, but the cost is quite high - 15 EUR/person for one visit. Inside we found dry sauna, infrared sauna, steam sauna (with a bit too much eucalyptus scent), ice dispenser, jakuzzi, cool drinking water tap and showers.
Cons: The walls are thin and we could hear water running in pipes whenever someone was using a shower. We could also hear other guests in adjacent rooms. Also our balcony hosted a ventilation exhaust (I think it was from the wellness area) which was quite loud but fortunately it was shut down for the night. Our twin bed acutally comprised two matresses, which made snuggling at night difficult and the duvets were massive. As I am not a great fan of heat, I chose to discard one duvet and use a blanket that we took with us instead.
Pros: Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Accomodation was spacious, comfortable and clean.
Pros: very nice small pension, very king owners Simon & Maria Very good breakfast & dinners
Cons: the village Vernar doesn't offer any restaurant or cafe \ bar. The nearest place with restaurants in Poprad
Pros: The Pension is well located to explore the Slovensky raj and Vysoké Tatry, very friendly host, clean rooms, good breakfast. Optionally, you can have dinner, we tried it, it was excellent.
Pros: OMG. Amazing place amazing place. The host was wonderful. Rooms were great. We had a room with balcony. They also have an amazing SPA. Unfortunately, we did not plan well hence couldn't use it. Given another opportunity to travel to Slovakia, i will be at this place. Sufficient parking and great food. Wifi available, but they prefer cash payment.
Pros: Breakfast and wellness were excellent. The staf was so friendly and helpfull even they did not sprak English! The lady was very helpfull
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Helped us for any of our requests. The dinner was excellent, free coffee along the day.
Pros: AMAZING LOCATION BEAUTIFUL VIEWS CLEAN AND NICE AMENITIES 5* SPA ( We couldnt believe that a Pension had better than a 5 star hotel spa ) THE HOSTS WERE AMAZING AND HELPFUL FOOD AND BREAKFAST WERE DELICIOUS VALUE FOR MONEY !!!
Cons: That we couldnt stay more :)
Pros: Nice and honest lady to talk to, while she would like to learn language :) You could help her to learn :), but she is not talking in foreign language fluently. Domaci boli vyborni :)
Pros: It's a brand new, modern, comfortable and very clean hotel. The location is simply amazing, very close to the forest, and hiking trails start right at the hotel. The owners are very welcoming and go way beyond your expectations to meet your requests. We highly recommend this wonderful place in Slovenskiy Raj.
Cons: Nothing. The place is amazing in every respect.
Pros: The location is stunningly beautiful, incredible views from the room, the terrace and basically everywhere in the hotel, it is stituated at a quiet location just outside the town. The owners are veryvery kind, warmhearted and helpful. They gave advise on the area what options for tours and sight seeing there are and other good tips where to find what. On arrival they immediately make you feel at home. It was a superb experience!
Pros: Spotless. Very clean. Helpful staff. Kid's playroom.
Cons: It would be even cooler place if spa and pool were part of it.
Pros: Amazing location. We went for a stroll to the nearby mountains and did not want to come down. No crowds. Evenings are amazing. The staff are very supportive. When we were out in the open air at night with family, the staff brought us cushions and sheets for comfort. During winter it must be an amazing place.
Cons: Please carry cash, Credit cards are not accepted. No wifi. Even though we didn't like it in the beginning, we enjoyed the evening as a family talking and chatting. We enjoyed the evening upto late night. No place to buy food nearby. Book half board without fail. Food is great.
Pros: everything was great! :) staff was unbelievable nice, rooms very cozy, breakfast tasty, the best location what you can imagine if you are hiking in Slovensky raj!!! :) highly recommended!

Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms. Very good value for the price.
Cons: Matraces are somewhat old.
Pros: Great place, nice stuff. Was verybhelpfill
Pros: Very nice pension surrounded by nature. Walks start just outside the pension. Very friendly staff and the food is great! They only cook for the guest which creates an intimate sphere with great food.
Cons: Hard to reach by public transport, busses go only a couple times a day.
Pros: Very helpful staff, breakfast was good with hot options (great omelette on the second morning of my stay), dinners were good, room spacious and clean.
Pros: The room was big, and had a balcony. There is an option for dinner in the penzion itself since most of the restaurants are quite far.
Cons: There was no internet reception (no cellular data and no WiFi). While the pictures showed facilities for children, there were almost none. The dinner was reasonable, but the breakfast was poor.
Pros: Location is perfect for walking in Slovensky Raj. Very clean and spacious room. Staff very welcoming and food in restaurant was excellent value.
