Pros: Excellent place if you want to rest when travelling between Marrakech and Merzouga, rustic and beautiful decoration. The dinner is delicious and served in a very cosy space. The breakfast was not included and costs 5€ Pax but was very good on the first day. On the second day was not so good and we felt the quality was not up to the price. Overall a very nice place to stay.
Cons: The pillows were very high and firm and there are no shutters at the window to make the room dark at night

Pros: friendly staff, perfect location just by the road, nice dinner
Cons: dinner little bit pricey

Pros: Dar Isselday is a beautiful place to stay. A very welcoming host, who was always there when you needed something. insanely good tasting food, and a great place to spend the night. Also for vegetarians no problem. Just a little bit above is the old Kasbah. It can be reached in a 15 minutes evening walk or morning walk with an exceptional view over the whole valley. Great place. Will definitely return there if I am in the area again!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good dinner and nice breakfast. Stay did the job, relax and dinning area outside with a view

Pros: Wonderful layout, very cosy, beautiful antiques and attention to details. It’s a great stop between Ouarzazate and high Atlas. The swimming pool was great, everything looks even better than in pictures, a good selection of antiques rugs from the mountains tribes and a wonderful host and staff. I couldn’t recommend more!

Cons: Payment with card was not possible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderfull place with very friendly staff. The food was good. The room was comfortable and the price a bargain. I would gladly stay here again.
Cons: The path to the hotel is a bit tricky. We had a 4 x 4 rental but some might find this a challenge.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The place was nice and comfy, view was amazing ! It is a great place to stay when traveling in this area. The staff was also kind.
Cons: The only comment I could make is that no one has told us that we had to pay an extra for dinner and I discovered the price in paying the bill the next morning!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is beautiful , everything is made traditionally but with style which is very rare. The owner Ahmed took us for an unforgettable day out to special places he has discovered . If I could I would give the whole experiance 11 out of ten . The bed was comfy the children slept in an attic room super beautiful . The food was to die for . Plus Ahmed took us to local shops, Kasbahs and sunset views , a secret oasis , film sets , just a trip of a lifetime really !

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and very clean. Nice view from the terrace.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is impressive... you will stay with local people enjoying the calmly. I would to remark the hospitality of the owner. It Was so nice to discuss with him some topics about Islam culture and history.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Went with the kids and had a lovely welcome. Great place to stay on our way from Ouarzazate to Marrakech.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing kasbah in a beautiful little village. If you want to get a home feeling in a real kasbah from a century ago, well, this is the place. Our best stay in Morocco so far!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lahoussine was an excellent host with lots of information about the history and attractions of the area. The rooms' decor was very impressive too.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The host is lovely, so kind and helpful. Really accomodating. The location is stunningly peaceful - make sure you check out the view from the roof terrace! Lovely room - large, clean and with lovingly crafted Moroccan decor.
Cons: The breakfast was a bit meagre. It was just two types of bread with jam and cheese. In Morocco we ate some amazing breakfasts so a little bit of fresh fruit or added egg would make it perfect.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good hospitality! traditionel, authentic anddelicious food! Rooms are clean and nicely decorated!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There is a spectacular light show that unfolds across the valley at sunset, with the deep greens of the irrigated valley contrasting with the red and orange hills that surround it. In April we could also see snow capped mountains beyond. This, or course, is seen from the rooftop terrace. The location is quite remote and, for me, provided a respite from the overcrowded Ait Benhaddou. Lahoussine is the proprietor, and he takes a great deal of pride in maintaining the property, providing tasty meals, and sharing the history of the casbah. He arranged transportation for us to visit the sights in the area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Cons: You will need a car, or you will need to arrange transportation to access this remote location. But it is well worth it if you are searching for a peaceful location with magnificent views.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lahoussine and his family were excellent hosts and looked after us during our stay, making us feel at home from the minute we stepped through the front door. Their home is a stunning kasbah which has been the family home of many generations and an outstanding place to stay as a foreign visitor in Morocco. Our room was cozy and beautifully decorated and the king sized bed was more comfortable than the one we have at home, meaning we woke up more relaxed than ever. The roof terrace where we had tea and breakfast has lovely views of the Ounila valley, which is a beautiful and serene scenery stopped still in a time capsule from many years ago. Places like Lahoussine's are quintessential in order to explore a side of Morocco that feels untouched by the outside world, yet Lahoussine himself is, as you will find, an extremely worldly and intelligent man. We were humbled to hear from him about the history of his family. I can guarantee you will not forget your stay here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic traditional riad in a small town. Off the beaten path - just terrific , but easy to get to. Don’t take the main traffic road. Go via Telouet, much more interesting. Telouet Kasba was maybe the best and most interesting of all we saw. I rate it way above Ait Benhaddou! The host at the riad was very interesting to talk with about local history and old politics. Dinner at the riad a must as nothing in the small village, and it was a terrific dinner in a traditional family style dining room. Breakfast too was great. Great room with traditional carpets and wall hangings. Cool weather but lots of blankets. Cozy. A great place most highly recommended. And do take a walk in the village and down through the fields below.
Cons: All good - most highly recommended.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was in a lovely quiet location which made you feel in the middle of nowhere, yet it was only a few km from the main road. The hosts were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them; they thought of the little things such as giving us a chilled bottle of water to take away every day.
Cons: The room was a little on the dark side.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The property is situated between Ouarzazate and Ouzoud. We spent a night there on the way to Ouzoud falls. The room was booked two hours before arrival, but the host responded very quickly and offered to prepare dinner for us. The Berber omelette there is one of the best I had in Morocco.
Cons: Wifi is slow.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We booked this hotel about 10 minutes before we checked in. Despite the short notice, the extremely welcoming family were able to provide us a delicious vegan meal and ensure our comfort.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner and cook are very nice and helpful people. We felt there welcome. You can eat fresh and local food, enjoying a beautiful mountain view at the same time. This property is on the side so you can experience real local life and see a beautiful village. We are not professionals but decided to go for trecking and we do not regret it. You have a lot of places and mountains to climb. This is a place where you can really rest and get energy for the next stop. I recommend this place.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The super friendly owners take personal care of you, giving the visitors the feeling of being part of their community. The offered dinner was very tasty and comes at a reasonable price. As the building doesn't have heating of the rooms (the water is nicely warm, though) mobile heating is provided if the temperatures are cool outside, creating a cozy atmosphere. We had interesting discussions with the owners. A really nice last impression of Morocco (it was our last stay before flying back home). Unfortunately, we didn't have time to use any of the offered services, such as excursions, during the day as we came in late and had to get going in the morning.
Cons: We found used tampon in the bin of the bathroom from the previous guests. Otherwise everything was clean.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely place for short stay in Atlas, as well as a very good base for longer stays in Atlas for hiking (own transportation would be then advised). The place is beautiful, the surroundings picturesque. We were pleased with both dinner and breakfast in this hotel.
Cons: The only negative aspect is the internet access: although there is a wifi in the object, this isn't much usable, I guess this is due to the remote location (mountains), where even the mobile access is done by egprs.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place. Friendly staff. Tasty breakfast and dinner. Beautiful location in the mountain.
Cons: Bathroom (no shower cubicle so the entire bathroom was filled with water)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful quiet location. The food (extra price) was delicious. Room was nicely decorated and comfortable and it smelled nice and clean.
Cons: Toilet was missing a screw and was moving. Internet was so slow it didn’t load a single page but the place is so peaceful that a day without an internet is perfect.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very nice people. Good stop on the way..
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice B&B in the middle of nowhere. The owner is really nice and does everything for you to have a nice stay.

Pros: comfortable and welcoming really good food - homemade tajine dinner friendly host and guide in same person -> recommend to take a tour to the local Kasbah worth it and you learn also about berber countryside live nice mountain surroundings
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a very warm welcome. The family suite is huge and cozy and a fine dinner is served. We enjoyed also the guided tour through the Telouet Kasbha that was offered by the very friendly responsible Aziz.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The host and staff were friendly and hospitable. These people were very genuine which made our stay here one of our favorites from our travels through Morocco. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, bed was comfortable, and a tasty dinner was prepared for us on short notice, which was also accommodated to our dietary requirements. There was a minor mistake about our reservation through booking.com which led the hosts to expect 6 people rather than 2, but they made no fuss and continued to make us feel welcome. Also spoke french and english, which was a plus for us. We got a tour of one of the nicest Kasbah’s we had seen so far, which was much less touristic than some of the other’s that had been advertised. Overall we really enjoyed this place and wished we could have stayed longer.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The position was beautiful and the staff was very kind and helpful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really appreciate that the whole appartment was for our family. Terace with perfect view outside, nice living room, bedroom, toilet and separated bathroom. The house was surpricingly nice compare to all other buildings in the town. We could use kitchen as well. Highly recommended!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Aziz was so friendly and helpful! Aziz knows everything about the region's history and can answer any question! He recommended lovely walk to the sacred fish which was fabulous. Breakfast and dinners were huge and delicious. Tea and biscuits were such a nice touch after our long walk. Thank you Aziz!
Cons: I liked everything.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The best is the location of the place, in an oasis village, with a beautiful and historical kashba worth a visit. Aziz, the guy in charge, took us to the kashba and guided us around it. He is very nice and made everything easy for us. The hotel was good, with spacious rooms and a terrace, Dinner was excellent, and breakfast was very good too.
Cons: The limited time we spent there. I am sure we missed many interesting places around Telouet: the salt mines, a lake somewhere south and doing some trekking in the valley between Telouet and Ait Ben Haddou...
7.0 Good
Pros: It’s a nice cozy place to stay, room was clean. All the facilities we needed were good. Staff was helpful and kind.
Cons: The WiFi was really bad, couldn’t send even a single message. Location was very awkward, we didn’t know how to get there for a while.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is located in a quiet part of the town, but still close to the mainroad and easy to find. Comfortable rooms, clean bathroom, kitchen available. Friendly guy running the place prepared fired the fireplace for us and served a good breakfast.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was included even though it was not specified in the room description. The hotel itself was very nice and 5 min walking from kasbah.
Cons: Wifi not working in the room (ok at the reception and even better at the restaurant across the road). Shower was not working at one of the rooms.
7.5 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, lovely patio where we could eat outside. The hotel owner was very welcoming and even invited us to his home. They also organised a folkloric performance for us one evening for an extra €100. The carpet store is worth looking at.
Cons: This was pretty much the only joint in the village and it was pretty basic. We didn't always have hot water or WiFi. The beds were rather hard.
7.5 Good
Pros: This Aubrge has excelent an position. The hosts are very friendly and breakfest ist ok.
Cons: It looks like somebody has forgaten on this place for awhile. Also cleanles is not on to highg level.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The surrending of the hotel.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: If you are a traveller, rather than a tourist, the Auberge Telouet is a great stop on the spectacular road between the N9 and Ait Ben Haddou. While authentically rustic, it's perfectly comfortable. The best part is its friendly hosts, Jamal and the multilingual guide, Ali. By meeting these two, we felt we got to know Moroccans. The food was very good and the kasbah nearby is one of the most intersting in the area. Well worth a stop on an an extraordinary road.

Pros: My friend and I had a lovely stay, and spent the evening chatting with our host Mohamed, after a lovely chicken tagine. The accommodation is across the fields from the fascinating kasbah.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was a quite new house and we had it completely for ourselves. The host took care of dinner as well.
Cons: It was very cold in the house. No WiFi. To expensive in comparison to my other nights in marokko. Nearly no English.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect hosting in a perfect position only 2 minutes away from the amazing Telouet Kasbah. We loved to chat with the host and we enjoyed a beautiful house with great food!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Telouet is well off the usual tourist route but a great place to stop over at. Maison d’Hotes Titerete is a great oasis in a crossroads town Our room was large, clean and very comfortable. Being the only guests made the shared facilities not a problem. Our host was extremely kind and helpful and the home cooked tanjine superb. Enough for two! No WiFi but sometimes escaping being connected is a good thing. The road from Amerir was very good. From there to Taddart full of roadworks but great scenery nonetheless. If you want to detour from the usual tourist route this was a great layover. Would totally recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The reknown Moroccan hospitality reaches its peak at this small guesthouse in Telouet. If what you're looking for is a standard accomodation with WiFi and A/C, go elsewhere. Here you'll find a host and his family who graciously open their home to you, are happy to chat and share their culture and let you dine on their delicious homecooked food. Guests' bedrooms are in a separate house, next door to the family home, where there large bathroom, living room and dining room are shared among the (few) guests. The little village offers a fabulous kasbah, yet unfortunately let to crumble away, a salt mine, great pastry shops and other small shops and cafes. People are welcoming and extremely nice and friendly. We fell in love with Telouet.

Pros: The house is quiet and the owner and his wife were wonderful. They made me dinner and showed around the town They made me a surprise birthday cake and liked after me when I was struck down with a cold .
