Pros: all good, check in easy, we were one night for rest on way to Lofoten islands.
Pros: The location was perfect for an overnight on our way to Lofoten Islands. All basic services were available, kitchen was well equipped (we cooked all of our own meals), bathroom clean and beds comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Wi-fi did not reach our cabin but this was not a big issue for us. A place for swimming was marked on the map but when we checked the area, it seemed more like a private cabin/beach - maybe better instructions would be needed? Sauna would also be really nice.
Pros: Spacious, clean, comfortable with large balcony and parking by the front door. Peaceful, calm surroundings and very strong wi fi. It is good value for money.
Pros: Very clean and comfortable cabin. Good location, near the main road but peaceful.
Cons: Nothing to change :)
Pros: Location was good. Nice cottage, lots of room. Great kitchen. Very clean.
Cons: Not the best beds. I had a shower (like, for 10 minutes, not even long), then my partner and he didn’t have any hot water anymore. Had to wash himself with cold water. Very small boiler. Wifi didn’t work on my phone.
Pros: Very good cabins. Picturesque are for hiking, also for winter hikings. Seperate cabin with living room and bedroom, also bathroom . Kitchen and kitchennette. Stove and oven. Nice terrace, upon the road. We rent sheets and towels for about 200 nok for two. Enjoyed staying there .
Cons: No dishwasher and no dishcloth to wash dishes! No soap or shampoo also.
Pros: We really liked the location of these cabins - far enough away from civilisation to feel like a proper getaway. The cabin was warm and well-equipped, and everyone we met was friendly.
Cons: We found one dead bed bug on one of the bunk beds. Not too surprising in a cabin, but still a little off-putting.
Pros: Good for a short stay. It was clean and uncomplicate.
Cons: It was too expensive.
Pros: The new larger cabin was very nice. Good location on the road.
Pros: Great environment and staff. Cozy cabin with full equipment
Cons: Bedding can be included as standard
Located in Lavangen, Fjellkysten is a 3-minute drive from Lavangen Church and 6 minutes from Krambuvika Rural Museum. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and a library. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Beautifully located in a small village circled by mountains and lakes. View from the restaurant is awesome. Comfortable room and well decorated common areas makes it a very special place to stay for vacation. Staff were very friendly.
Cons: Breakfast can have a bit more options.
Pros: The hotel is located on top of a hill with stunning views of the mountains (Spanstinden and Reitetinden peaks)and the fjord. Nature and peace in its pure state. The hotel manager and staff were friendly. Breakfast buffet included with a wide variety of typical Norwegian products, milk, juices, fresh fruit and so on. What we missed was some kind of vegetable milk as soya milk. The location of the hotel is excellent if you want to make hiking routes , since from the same place or moving a few kilometers you have the possibility of doing different routes with different types of difficulty and distance ( Spanstinden, Reitetinden,Trosen , Henrikkafossen) Also , you can find other tourist attractions near the place such as caves, polar park and so on.
Cons: Nothing to say about it
Pros: Very friendly and helpful lady at the reception desk. Nice breakfast.
Cons: There were a lot of guests at the breakfast and they run out of some products.
Pros: Good place to stay, you have everything you need, good value for money. Good new bathroom Nice breakfast (maybe it is too much fish oriented, but we liked it)
Cons: Not perfectly clean room. They mixed up the checkout time, so we needed to double check. They mixed up room so we needed to ask for different one. There is a locked door to the neighborhood room so you can easily hear every word from there. You have to pay 40 nok for using washing machine, which was a surprise during checkout for me.
Pros: Great breakfast and very nice view :)
Pros: Clean and comfortable, big rooms
Cons: Bit far from everywhere
Pros: Nice and friendly stuff Good and cheap dinner
Cons: - Bathroom and room wasn‘t renovated in the last 30 years - Floor very sticky - Shower very uncomfortable - Breakfast for Norway strongly improvable - No waiter at the breakfast area Don‘t expect a three star hotel, expect an old unrenovated youth hostel and pay for a three star hotel.
Pros: The location, the view! Big room!
Cons: Terrible beds. Matras with springs which you can feel when you're laying down. One of the two was so worn down that it was impossible to sleep on. Luckily there was an extra bed in the room so we slept apart.
Pros: Quiet, clean and beautiful lake view.
Pros: The outlook on the Fjord is beautiful. The house-brewed beer is very tasty. The terrace is nice, if it were not for the mosquitoes...
Cons: Although the service was very devoted, the quality/diversity of the meals could be improved. Nicer meals would clearly enhance the attraction of this hotel...made to stay a few days for walks or skying
When you stay at Bardu Hotell in Bardu, you'll be 16.2 mi (26 km) from Polarbadet. This hotel has 3 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Restaurant was amazing along with a friendly staff.
Cons: Outdated accommodations.
Pros: Excellent staff, great chef!
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. We left a few items in the hotel after our stay. They went out of their way to contact us. In addition they were very receptive to adding options to the dinner menu suck as traditional lutefisk. The Norwegian meatballs were awesome.
Cons: Lighting was poor in the hotel room.
Pros: Croissants served late afternoon were very good, flaky and crisp.
Cons: Selection of Food and wine was not up to standard. No croissants for breakfast. Old fashioned and tired hotel
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Rooms were too hot and opening the windows only invited the mosquitoes in
Pros: Kind staff. Good breakfast!
Cons: There were no wifi in the room, but She compensated with a tasty local beer! :-)
Pros: The staff was friendly and the motel was clean. The location is good.
Cons: The hotel appeared worn out and dated. The dinner facilities appeared unattractive. For all this the price was not cheap.
Pros: Relaxed atmosphere. All around nice personell.
Cons: Surrealistic atmosphere. Absence of soap in the dispensers. Broken window in the room. Solely trolls on the walls in the restaurant. The city name was confusing, is it Bardu or Setermoen? Alot of questions went unanswered that night.
Located in Setermoen, Soltun Soldatheim & Ungdomssenter features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, and luggage storage for guests. At the hostel, every room comes with a wardrobe. You can play billiards, table tennis and darts at Soltun Soldatheim & Ungdomssenter, and the area is popular for hiking and skiing. The nearest airport is Bardufoss Airport, 25 km from the accommodation.
Pros: Large area in living room with beautiful view and musical instruments! Excellent kitchen!
Pros: The staff was amazing and so was the space. There’s tons of board games, and video games and movies and a great space to hang out in. The kitchen has everything you might need, and the grocery stores are both very close.
Pros: Incredible place for watching northern lights - just walk ten minutes past the ski centre and you would get to a place with zero light pollution in the night.
