9.7 Excellent (107 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great food and location, very friendly hosts
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, only 15min driving to Villedieu-les-Poeles where you have a good selection of restaurants. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. We only stayed for one night due to the circumstances however we wished we stayed a few more days to enjoy the surroundings and the horses. The owners were very friendly and made us feel so welcomed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully situated property, rustic french style house with lovely grounds. The owners were very welcoming and the food was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The English owners are super nice and friendly and so welcoming! Their place is beautifully situated with an amazing view of the valley and rolling hills, and the very clean house and neatly trimmed large garden are beautifully decorated. Attention to detail is given to literally everything - and all is colour-coordinated. The mattress was comfortable; not too hard like in some places. There's a lovely family room over 2 floors, if you come with your kids (have included pics of that one). Own breakfast room and own entrance for guests. And they have 2 horses, a dog and 2 cats - all love a little attention :)
Cons: Only three tiny things, if one wants to be *really* picky: I did not mind the queen size bed (140 cm), it was cozy; but my (tall) partner would have preferred a king size (180 cm), just to have a bit of space to turn around. Breakfast was lovely, even with tasty home-baked bread - only, we would have liked a bit of cheese, not only jam (we realize: jam only is 'French' - but nevertheless). Oh, and: The towels were perfectly colour-coordinated with the bathroom decoration - only, in all their fluffiness, they did not really dry that well. That's all :)

The breakfast is typical French with homemade jam and croissants. The house has a nice garden with a beautiful view of the fields and country houses. The accommodation is very clean and cosy. Everything is arranged with so much care and detail. We truly enjoyed staying there and highly recommend this place!

Pros: Everything outstanding incredible. Food room value. Katies food Brillant randy is the worlds nicest man. Stunning stunning job guys
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The most generous well appointed rooms and the most entertaining hosts of any B&B any of us had ever experienced. The common room is not so much a lounge as a comfortable living room in a private residence and the bathrooms will exceed in quality and size those many travelers have at home. Ideally located equidistant between the Normandy beaches and Mont St. Michel for those traveling to both. Let Katie cook dinner for you and Randy serve drinks in front of the fire. Engage them in conversation and enjoy! We all wish they were a chain throughout Europe.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.

Pros: A big room, well equipped. There was no television in the room but we did not miss it. A very good breakfast. We asked if we could have Camambert for breakfast, which is let us say not typical, but was arranged. A super very kind and helpful host with every questions and queries we had.
Cons: Nothing negative. Everything was superb!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Francoise, was incredibly helpful and kind. She went out of her way to make us feel at home; even taking us on a tour of their beautiful property. It is a working farm with a tremendous history and she was happy to share it with us. As there is only one room at the B&B we were given first class attention; she was willing to help us plan our day and provide local recommendations. Breakfast was delicious and the friendly animals, Welcome, the dog and Princess the cat were lovely additions to our stay. All in all, we highly recommend staying here.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was large, beautifully decorated and very comfortable with tea and coffee available. The owner was away but we were looked after by a colleague who gave us an excellent tour of the stables in the morning prior to leaving - really interesting. About two miles from the local town, happily stored our bike overnight.

Pros: We got lost en route and arrived rather late to find no restaurants open nearby. Caroline our lovely hostess was very kind in preparing sandwiches and drinks to keep the wolves from the door.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The croissants were extra flakey, and the beds were extra comfy. The location is an updated French farmhouse out in the country near Saint-Lô. It’s quiet and gorgeous. The English proprietors, Graham and Caroline, are lovely. The breakfasts are continental, quite French, and a little different each day. The outstanding thing about this place is how clean it is, which we appreciated. When we return to France, we will stay here again if they will have us!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Graham and Caroline were fabulous, warm and welcoming. He picked me up at the village Mairie and drove me and my bicycle the two miles to the B&B. I also arrived too late to have dinner at the one village restaurant, so Caroline fixed me a nice, simple dinner. And when I told Peter that I had only two days to spend in Normandy and to see the D-Day sites, he offered to drive me to Omaha Beach the next morning. He dropped me right at the site.
Cons: Remote location.
10.0 Excellent

It is such a fantastic place to stay and the hospitality extended to us just made it perfect. We thoroughly recommend it as a first class place to stay if you are visiting Normandy and is ideal for visiting all parts of the region.
Cons: We liked everything. Graham and Caroline could not provide a better place to stay.
