Well situated in town centre
Good room for a family Internet not accessible from room, only lobby
Location Only part of the rooms are newly renovated and we were two couples who reserved two superior rooms. Only one renovated room was given which did seem to be a superior room and the other room was rather old. I got the wrong impression from the web site. Expected more.
Convenient, prompt service, easy parking Poor lighting in rooms, rather dated, "pink and chintz" decor in public areas.
Good location. Nice distance from Ferry for first night stopover.
Good hotel for a few nights. Good location to stop on the way to the south.
The restaurant was fantastic a very high standard of food and the staff were very friendly and helpful particularly with French / English translation!
We stayed in the new detached building 400m up the hill. It was fabulous, like staying in someone's newly built mansion. Awesome new design and technology, and an indoor pool. Fantastic.
Convenience of Access Not Applicable
Good location in the town, bistro and bar excellent. Could have better car parking facilities.
Breakfast was good room was clean easy to book Bed was to firm
Functional, fit for purpose, clean, well located, easy parking. A bit bland (rooms could do with a little colour). Hotel entrance unilluminated at night and quite hard to locate.
Standard Campanile little changed. Fair value only.
The accommodation was clean and good value for money.
Staff pleased to help A bit dated. Food expensive for the quality
Smiling welcome anda good breakfast
Good restaurant, warm room (winter stay)
it was clearly marked on the road - easily found
Perfect for an overnight break on a long journey. Food was excellent and good value. Rooms were clean and provided everything - though perhaps rather small for a longer stay. Will definitely seek out Campanile hotels again.
the convenience of it's position, tea & coffee in the room. The menu was restricted to starter buffet and dessert buffet
Friendly family run hotel. Very nice stay. Rooms excellent.
Modern with good lighting Difficult to find and good way from centre. The room refreshment assortment was meagre only one sachet of coffee for 2 people.
It was convenient for onward journey. Good breakfast for that type of hotel. The address given on booking could not be identified by our Sat Nav. Had it not been for good signage on the route into St Lo we would have had trouble finding it. Location, although convenient, not attractive. Not somewhere you would stay to relax.
Excellent stopover on way to and from ferry. Good breakfast and good value restaurant adjacent.
Uitstekende service van het personeel.Perfecte Internetverbinding.Good value for money, good service and a great Internet.Goede eetgelegenheden op loopafstanden Bison was the best.Goede uitvalsbasis om de d-day stranden te bekijken. Nothing whatsoever.
2 star hotel with 4 star facilities
Nice new facilities, helpful staff
Room was clean and quiet, and as described. Disappointed to discover that the associated restaurant was closed for a week or so during our stay - would have preferred to have been advised at time of booking, or at least at check-in.
Comfortable, clean room at a good price. I was touring the area and only needed an adequate place to stay. This hotel met my needs. Location relative to Saint-Lo city center
The woman at reception was pleasant, very helpful and a credit to your organisation.
Staff were very welcoming and particularly anxious to help. Very friendly.Very good breakfast. We had used the hotel before and will use it again.
Nice view at the river and castle. In the center of town. So hot! No airco for such a hotel is unacceptable for me. The room was not the cleanest (holes in the wall/dirty windows/..).
The only good option in the city, the staff and the cleanness. The bar right next to the hotel unleashes every weekend (Friday and Saturday) a bunch of totally drunk people who stay under your window shouting until 4AM.
Easy access by car from anywhere in Normandie Restaurant was below par
good view with historic site
Very pleasant, friendly staff. Room was adequate and very clean. Good central location with plenty of restaurants nearby. No.
Very friendly front desk staff! They knew English well enough to help us with our stumbling French!!
very clean, huge bathroom, good restaurant
It was very warm in the hotel, and opening the window was not an option due to the very heavy streetnoise.
The hotel was very central - being close to the train station and near to a few bars/restaurants. Our room was at the back of the premises overlooking the station car park which appears to be a meeting place for the local teenagers until the early hours of the morning.
I was extremely disappointed to find the restaurant closed, particularly on a Saturday evening. There appeared to be only one member of staff on duty, No restaurant on the Saturday. The room had not been cleaned, the carpet was very dirty. The bed was the hardest I have ever experienced.
The breakfast was the only redeeming feature The rooms were very cramped and had no air conditionning. The toilet seat was broken and we asked for it to be fixed, but this was not done.
Staff were very pleasant and the room quite adequate, also breakfast was good.
We arrived early evening on the way to our destination ,found the hotel easily which had all the facilities we wanted for an overnight stay and certainly much quieter than many of the other hotels in the centre of town No food was available on a Saturday night after a lengthy journey which was diappointing but with St. Lo just down the road it was no great problem, Far happier to be in this hotel than the others seen
very close to main road routes no food after a long drive, saturdays or sundays. big let down.
The bedroom layout, the ease of finding the hotel. They only had one price for breakfast, the children paid the same price.
poor ventilation bedrooms due to position noisy + with windows open ? aircon would help
Wi-Fi in bedroom.
Very friendly and helpul staff, all spoke English very well. Food was very good standard. Good parking facilities. Relaxed atmosphere. We had a family room which unfortunately had a noticeable musty smell when we arrived. After opening the windows, it cleared to a reasonable level. The rest of the hotel was fine, so maybe we were just unlucky.
Staff on duty on arrival extremely good. Family room was cramped - no tea/coffee making facilties.
No late keys available. Hotel locked at 11:30
Good food and comfortable room. Close to autoroute
Quite easy to find from the autoroute, but far enough away to be set in very pretty, quiet countryside so that we could jear bird song most of the time we were there. Good resturant and plenty of off street safe parking Not an expensive hotel but with two of us eating and drinking it was a far from cheap experience.
Beautiful, peaceful situation
Reasonably priced, in a good location for an overnight stop if getting the ferry from Cherbourg. Food was very good. They catered for our baby twins very well. Service was slow at dinner, as was the check out.
Very atmospheric, quiet.
Lovely building and garden in a tranquil country setting. An excellent restaurant. None
The quality, flavour and presentation of the food particularly the evening meal was excellent. Pleasant location for a relaxing break for those looking for a balance between 'time out' and 'local/district/region interest' within reasonable travelling distance. The stairs to the second floor were particularly steep and only part railed. this caused my wife some difficulty. We would recommend those with mobility concerns to request a ground floor room where possible. No particular dislikes of note.
Quiet location, friendly staff, liesurely pace which our evening meal was presented cmfortable accomodation and certainly an overnight stop I would use again and look forward to.
The room was very nice and cosy. This is a quite place with a very good kitchen. A very nice experience which was recommended by friends.
ease of location, Nice area/town, easy reception process and attentive management. large room for 5 people suited our purpose of one night stop over with young family. Ideal for us. Nice continental breakfast worth booking to save the hassle.
Convinient (at least for us) location in the main square of the small town, reasonable price, there's a restaurant downstairs, though we didn't use it. Stuff was only 'moderately' friendly, rooms were dusty & a bit run down, though still functional & had some nice decorations.
Very friendly and efficient staff, comfortable room, reasonable rates and a very good menu choice in restaurant.
The staff were very helpful ,there was a problem with our room but was resolved immediately by reception.
Hotel is situated right in the center of the city and only a mile away from the highway. The beds were good. The hotel restaurant is awkward. We had Aldi mixed vegetables (tin for 0,87 ct) in a 23 Euro menu. The sirloin steak (faux filet) could have served as shoe sole. A once and never again experience. The breakfast buffet (6,50 Eur) was modest. A second croissant was strictly denied.
Lovely big room - good food, nice staff
