Aigialos Luxury Traditional Settlement

The location and views over the caldera and waterways were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were freshly prepared and delicious. It was at the edge of town, so was very quiet, yet within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops.

The swimming pool was tiny and by the side of the bar. There was no space for relaxing or sunbathing next to the pool, so it was really unusable. There was a one-person jacuzzi, next to tables and chairs, which made the place cluttered. The rooms varied, so that some superior rooms had a shared balcony and stand-up half shower (shower head at waist height) and others had private balcony with full bathroom. If a private balcony is important, then guests would need to stipulate this in advance. The dinner menu was expensive e.g. up to 30 euros for a main course. There were many feral cats around, which were fed by the hotel. There were cats and cat smells in the balcony and breakfast area, which we found unpleasant and unhygienic.

The staff was amazing and made our stay very nice. We were upgraded upon arrival for no additional cost. The views were breath taking from the balcony of our room. Breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. We liked that our room was like an apartment and not an actual hotel room. The staff made our stay perfect!!

The bed was very hard (I am used to pillow top mattress) and the shower was a very small bathtub with a shower head that you had to hold to take a shower. The lighting could have been better inside the bathroom and throughout the room. These were minor concerns as overall I still give this hotel an A+ because of the service and location.

The suit that we stayed in is gorgeous with best view in Santorini. The hotel in autentic with an outstanding romantic atmosphere. The service was superb and the staff was very friendly . The location is perfect.

The manager and staff were so accommodating and helpful in their efforts to make our all too short stay memorable. From meeting our ferry to the fresh orange juice on arrival and the dinner on our balcony, no detail was left unturned. The views from the hotel are incredible as is the beauty of the hotel itself. We were treated with such grace and consideration, it was difficult to leave this beautiful place.

Management and his staff made you feel like you were family and could not do enough to make your stay perfect.

The staff was very accomodating. The hotel manager went out of his way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The staff was friendly and courteous. The food was outstanding! I would recommend having dinner at the hotel before eating anywhere else.

Wonderful view,staff very nice and helpfull, good food,close to city center but away from crowds,a few steps up and down to the hotel but your are in Santorini, staff will help you with baggage.
