Pros: The breakfast homemade yoghurt, jam and fresh orange juice ! Was amazing
Cons: Nothing it was perfect
Pros: We were invited to breakfast in the owner’s parlour. The whole breakfast was tasty!
Cons: Liked all the facilities !
Pros: The bedroom was spacious and comfortable, and the bed luxurious. Breakfast was provided, and was delicious with homemade jams and yoghurt. The old farm was very attractive providing a pleasant and private location.
Cons: The bed settee/sofa in the lounge was rather uncomfortable if sitting for too long. The lighting in the lounge was rather low, making reading a strain after a while. We read in bed instead! Wifi signal was not strong. These were not major concerns.
Pros: Host was very welcoming.location surprising, features good.
Cons: Upstairs good but downstairs could be more comfortable.
Pros: Super nice house, really friendly hosts
Cons: The third bed is not the most comfiest
Cons: Bathroom could have been cleaner Wi-Fi was terrible
With a stay at La Fuste des Garceaux in Orconte, you'll be 8.8 mi (14.1 km) from Village Museum of Der and 9.9 mi (15.9 km) from Lake Der-Chantecoq. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Lovely people, very comfortable, home made cooking (great and own produce!)
Cons: Location is a little isolated but perfect for bird watchers, backs onto forest.
Pros: Super friendly owners who stayed up very late to wait for me to arrive. Comfortable bed, spacious hot shower, excellent night's sleep. I would definitely stay there again.
Cons: Sat Nav couldn't find the place so a clearer sign and a light would have been reassuring in the dark as it is well tucked away down a long chalk track!
Pros: I have never stayed in a hotel with more friendly hosts. The hotel has real character and is spotlessly clean. The shower gel and shampoo are top quality and there are chocolates and biscuits to accompany the in-room tea and coffee. The hotel is in a peaceful location with secure parking and is close to Saint Dizier. Overall, a great place to stay if you want a peaceful night.
Cons: Even with directions emailed from the hotel, it was very difficult to find. My GPS did not recognise the road and the postcode was of little use. Although the Lat/Long was accurate, the GPS wanted to take me off-road to get there. I finally gave up, called the property and within 5mins, one of the hosts met me in the centre of Orconte. Signs are required because you do, indeed, go off-road on a prepared track to get there.
Pros: Sandine and Francois were wonderful hosts. We loved our stay. We were made to feel very welcome.
Cons: A little difficult to find using Google maps but worth the effort in the end.
Pros: They are lovely people. The breakfast was great, the room was huge and comfortable, the bathroom is beautiful. We were with our kids and they prepared a cot for My baby as well as a bath, changing mat and a baby bouncer to leave her while we had our breakfast. Just perfect!
Cons: The location can be really tricky to find. Be aware that google maps makes you go though a forbidden way, very dangerous. There’s no signs as well, which makes difficult to find during the night.
Pros: We loved our stay. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The building is not yet completely finished and therefore doesnt warrant a higher rating yet. I'm sure it will when its finished.
Cons: a bit difficult to find. a bit expensive in comparison to other places we have stayed.

Pros: excellent service. staff so helpful. room clean and comfortable. breakfast well presented and plenty of it very tasty.
Cons: nothing to dislike.
Pros: Lovely room with helpful staff in a good location on our journey
Cons: Unfortunately the restaurant was not open on the night we stayed
Pros: Excellent value for money, food was superb and excellent value, and owner was very friendly and helpful. It does not have views to speak of but I was there in the winter on a snowy night so it really did not matter. Fantastic place for a stop over.
Pros: Great ‘on the way’ hotel! Nice breakfast and excellent valmue for money!

Pros: The lady was very nice and very accommodating to our needs.
Cons: The friendliness and it had everything we needed. Excellent
Pros: With outdoor temperatures at 36 degrees and after a day on the road the air conditioned room was just right and the Patrons recommendation of a local restaurant was rewarded with a good meal.
Cons: Difficult to find
Pros: Breakfast good, no cereal but we’re in rural France! Bed very comfortable. Pleasant surroundings and antiquities
Cons: Directions could be better, it’s not near the water tower, it’s next to Campenois

Cons: Steep stairs to go upstairs
Pros: The whole package . Cheap , clean , friendly . You need no more !!
Cons: Nothing to say
Pros: We were welcomed with a glass of Kir with the host and other guests in the cosy lounge area. Lovely setting. Our host was very attentive and helpful in recommending restaurants for dinner and telling us where to visit. Breakfast was delicious.
Pros: Great place to stop over for a night when traveling east from Paris
Cons: If you want to eat in the evening there is nothing locally, best to stop and eat before you get there.

Cons: Reviews on booking.com stated that there was a good restaurant adjacent to the hotel but this has been closed permanently so had to travel approx 5 miles away to eat.
