Pros: Breakfast, views, hosts
Pros: Everything. The home-like feeling, the hospitality, the views, the food, the way the house is decorated. Everything exceeded our expectations. Excentric, beautiful place with immaculate view. Owners are very helpful and made us feel very welcomed. Home made jams for breakfast served in the garden was like a cherry on top of the cake. We fell in love with hospitality and the house itself. Only recommended to open minded people. You don't get the key to the room but there is no need to lock it as it feels like home of an excentric auntie. If you're searching for a quiet, lovely place and are looking for an adventure like stay, go for it. You won't be disappointed.
Pros: The meals were magnifique. The decor was beautiful. Most, if not all, of the artwork are originals done by the owner.
Cons: That we had to leave to move on!
Pros: Very tasty dinner and brakfast!
Pros: We had a lovely stay at La Becassiere. Beautiful location and surroundings, very peaceful and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend

We had a dinner with Florence and Maurice and really enjoyed all the delicious food and very warm atmosphere they create around. Breakfast was just perfect for us with 15 homemade jams. The weather was nice and it was served outside on the terrace with the gorgeous view. Also we got so many tips where we could go nearby. It couldn't have been more perfect!
Pros: An old big house, well refurbished, in a magic natural place, with very interesting interior design, with special, charming owners: Florence and Maurice. They gave us wonderful moments at dinner, Maurice is a good chef and they are agreeable companions. We hope we`ll meet again!
Pros: Old fashioned but fully renovated building with amazing interior decoration. Good stopover if ttavelling through mountains. Very welcoming owners. Exquisite chef's dinner in homely atmosphere!

Pros: Wonderful landscape. Total quietness. Nice owners. Would definetely come back for a longer stay!
Pros: The owner and staff were very friendly. The hotel is in a pleasant location conveniently beside "Napoleon's road" but quiet all the same. My third time there and they remembered me which was nice. Safe storage for my bicycle as well. Food great.
Cons: The sliding door to the bathroom was a bit shaky.
Pros: Great place for Bikers, as they have a garage to put your motorcycle/bicycle for the night. Very attentive host, who (being from the UK) speaks English perfectly. I'll be back, next time I am in the area.
Pros: The dinner was exceptionally great as well as the breakfast and the room was also nice and cosy. Parking was easy and the hotel easy to find.
Pros: Nice staff and great location near Gorges du Verdon. Very thankful for the late check-in as well. And I don't think you can find a more price-worthy hotel nearby. I don't think I'd stay here with my partner, family or longer periods, but for single travelers or for a overnight, this was perfect.
Pros: Big room, the owners and the surroundings

Pros: Garage, host, breakfast, views, location. Free nuts with my beer

The Chambre d'Hotes is run by a lovely couple who love to make you feel at home. The house itself has a lot of charme and offers plenty of sunchairs outside to enjoy yje scenery. Breakfast is all home made and very tasty - there is a huge selection of different food. The room itself is clean and has everything you need.
Cons: nothing! (ps. there might be a few mosquitos at night but that's normal in a countryside setting like this)

Located in Saint-Vallier-de-Thiey, Logis Hotel Le Relais Imperial is in the historical district, a 1-minute drive from Regional Natural Park of the French Alps and 8 minutes from Grotte de Baume Obscure.
Pros: The staff at the hotel were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We were a party of 24 and they looked after us very well
Cons: The Relais Imperial is a lovely hotel there was nothing that I didn't like
Pros: The beds were comfy, nice pillows, the tv, the breakfast was very nice, fresh and in abundance
Cons: The carpets were too old and a bit dirty The bathroom wasnot so clean, dust on light above the mirror, cracked tiles, hairs on the floor and old shower base
Pros: Beautiful location away from the hustle and bustle if the bigger cities. Remote, comfortable, and cozy. Historic hotel and it shows, but also adds to the experience.
Cons: Make sure your booking is fully understood if using booking.com. One of our rooms weren't available (we booked two rooms through the same reservation and they only saw one). They did make up for it with good service, free drinks, and supplying a room the second evening.
Pros: Broken couch, broken lights, no air conditioner. Poor value for 81euro
Pros: Welcoming and very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Pizzaria was good for dinner. Balcony for the dogs was nice.
Pros: The restaurant was excellent
Cons: It was what I expectede
Pros: Mattresses, suite,.quite are
Cons: The air-condition made noise after switched off and the fridge is a little bit to noisy (old mini fridge).. I would olso suggest to include a shower courtain in the bathroom.
Pros: Clean, comfortable, olde worlde hotel. Good food, and in a good location, near bars, restaurants and shops.
Cons: If I were being picky, there was no soap dish in the shower so had to put soap etc. on the floor. The shower was big enough to warrant something. Also, the door did not shut of its own accord and had to be slammed.
When you stay at Lodge du Berlandou in Escragnolles, you'll be steps from Regional Natural Park of the French Alps. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and refrigerator in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We had a wonderful stay! fantastic hosts (so kind and helpful) and amazing location. The area is beautiful and great for nearby walks from the lodge.. Property is gorgeous - pool is a highlight as well amazing breakfast on the terrace and a lovely private BBQ. I very much recommend a stay.
Pros: This was meant to be a one-night stop over place as we drive across the mountains. And it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The property is embedded in nature and it was a very special experience to spend a night there. The rooms are simple, but has an amazing terrace where you are served breakfast and it also has a pool looking over the mountains. Would recommend pre-ordering dinner as I don’t think there are supermarkets/dining options in close proximity.
Pros: This place is a little slice of heaven! The hosts are super friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was great quality with fresh ingredients, home made jam and all you can eat. But most of all the lodge is just beautiful and peaceful with an outstanding view of the mountains and kept immaculately clean with a obvious attention to detail. The swimming pool is the perfect size and temperature and is set right outside our bedroom. Perfect for the kids. Lots of restaurants nearby but also options to eat in the lodge or even have a barbecue in the grass next to the lodge. Out of all 12 places we went to on our road trip this was by far the best. I can not recommend it highly enough. (Family of 4)
Cons: The only thing I can possibly think to improve the stay would be to add an electric fan to each bedroom (or aircon) to help keep cooler.
Pros: The hosts were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The included breakfast was rich, served with homemade jam, local honey, fresh fruits, yoghurt, cereals, different sorts of bread, coffee or tea and fresh orange juice. The pool is refreshing and can be used at any time during the day. The area around the lodge is probably perfect for hiking, unfortunately we didn't take advantage of this too much.
Pros: The tent (more of a tent house) was great; spacious clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served on the veranda every morning. The surroundings were beautiful and calm. Would recommend pizza night !
Pros: Absolutely amazing place, we were totally satisfied with our stay at the house of Julie and her husband. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and their house is very cozy, situated in a picturesque terrain, where you can enjoy the beautiful landscape and rest from the city vanity. The breakfast was an additional plus, the served homemade jams were so tasty with the local pastry. Thanks a lot for a perfect stay :)
