Leuven Town Hall
St. Peter's Church
Fairly basic room facilities
rooms are old and shaby, need urgent renovation
Kind to offer early access to room and very helpful, cheerful staff. Comfortable bed. Very noisy room above bar and on street front, so if this annoys you then ask for back rooms.
The hospitality of the staff Smell of smoking in breakfast area
The location is excellent, the lady at the reception was friendly and the wifi connection was cheaper than elsewhere. We were travelling with a 2 month old baby, and that was no problem. We could use the microwave to warm up the bottles if necessary, and I saw people using the fridge in the kitchen. There was no mini-bar in the rooms, the furniture was very "rudimental", the bath tub was looking old (but clean), the elevator was very tiny (the buggy barely fitted), the bar at the reception was a very smoky place, and the breakfast was served there also. The breakfast was ok, but the bread and croissant quality was quite poor.
Good location, friendly staff, nice Belgian cafe.
Location was right in the middle of town. Very dated! The bar was in better nick than the bedrooms.
Leuven is an expensive town compared to other towns.
Very friendly staff and pleasant breakfast room that bar during the day and evening. Useful area for smokers. Convenient position near the centre of the city Rooms in reasonably but not perfect condition. Felt as if could do with some new paint. Bathroom door was a folding door that made a lot of noise in the middle of the night. Sound insulation poor but not a major problem
The loctaion near the square THe bad smell of smoking throughout the hotels including the non- smoking room.Taxi that was arranged by the hotel did not arrive and the morning staff had no idea which taxi company was meant to to be do the collection. I was 45 min late fore my business appointment
