Pros:Noisy, shady characters
Cons:Room wasn't ready at check in time. TV broken, shower curtain broken, AC barely worked, key card didn't work second night.
Pros:I liked that the room was cheap
Cons:The staff was aloof and rude, only half the lights in my room worked, the AC barely blew air from it, and the "queen" bed was more like a double.
Pros:Check-in was quick and easy. The motel has a good assortment of vending machines and a microwave near the lobby. The room was nice, and I was comfy in the bed. The TV had good channels. Also there's a Waffle House bordering it, which was perfect when I needed some food at 2am.
Cons:The only issue I had was that I paid $3.50 for Wifi and it was very slow. Images would often load piece by piece, like in the dial-up days. Some websites like Gmail and Twitter gave me "trouble loading" errors, but eventually they would load.
Pros:Clean comfortable bed, clean bathroom. For that price you don't need much else.
Pros:The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Has a small outdoor pool that we didn't use during our visit. Conveniently located and right next door to the Waffle House.
Cons:Right next to the highway so wouldn't be good for kids running around.
Pros:Close to freeway, several nice, yet inexpensive places to eat and shop. Laundry area was clean and cheap.
Cons:Booked reservation for 3 p.m. check-in, smoking room. Arrived at 10 a.m. to confirm reservation and was told our room would be ready at 3. Arrived back to check in at 3:10 p.m. only to be told the rom was not ready and had not even been cleaned yet. On speaking with the General Manager she was rude and continued to attempt to convince us to take a non-smoking room; stating, why can't you just smoke outside. Finally after close to waiting an hour we were put in a room that was half clean and infested with fly's. This motel needs to have staff completely retrained. I would not consider staying here again.
Pros:Bedding was clean and I like the wood floors. Should be easy to keep clean
Cons:Spent the first 20 minutes in my room killing the 5 flies that were in there. OK, flies get into your room sometimes and I can handle that. HOWEVER, there were multiple black hairs on the floor of the bathroom. Four to five inches long. I stayed at a Motel 6 understanding that I would give up first class comfort an amenities, Basic cleanliness should never have to be compromised for a cheaper price.
