The staff was very friendly and the food quiet nice. The whole place needs a total facelift. Ants all over our room. A safe that didn't work. Car parking with a card that didn't work too, so we couldn't get our car out. Loud music until 12 o clock in the night from hotel entertainment. Loud music at pool area in the afternoon provided by the hotels speakers. Go there if you want a holiday with nonstop action but stay home if you want a nice and quiet get away by the sea.
Good value, good location. Television policy. Deposit for remote control. Local channels only; reception poor. we did not like being kept waiting at reception in company with other guests whilst the receptionist chatted on the phone to a mate.
no coffee or tea making facilities in the rooms
The enviroment was noiseless, a place to relax. People can smoke near the pools disturbing others who does not like this. The mattress in the room was so old and several times it provides "special" noises".
Clean, good choice of buffet, excellent sized accommodation. Entertainment music too loud for our liking but everything was quiet by midnight. Could not offer us breakfast when we had to leave at 7.30 before the dining room opened at 8 on the last morning.
Beautiful setting and lovely view from our room. Seems a pity that car parking for clients cannot be allowed free of charge.
location food hygiene very poor rough night after eating.
Food was good. Additional charges for a large number of normal items that should have been inclusive e.g. room safety deposit, parking, rental of tv remote control, use of gym. Hotel requires refurbishment - generally tired-looking.
The pool area was very nice The buffet food was the worst I've had in a long time and there was no other options for dinner. The rooms had a hospital institutional quality and the extras like mini bar, a remote for the television or in house movies, Things that one would expect from a so called 4 star hotel were nowhere to be seen. Having to pay extra to use the indoor pool was also not a classy touch.
Quiet, even if the hotel is big and was full with families and young children. Food is decent. All facilities are clean and staff is friendly. The room for 4 adults had only two beds, was small and very basic for a 4* hotel. The gym facilities open only a few hours and are extremely poor although the website says "state of the art". You pay extra for everything. The beach is small and it is not sandy, but soil with fairly dirty water. Wouldn't qualify as it as a beach, could be better though with appropriate effort.
The natural surrounding of the hotel ( garden, flowers ) is beautiful. We ad nothing significant not to like.
The outdoor pool area was very nice. The rooms were very basic and the food (breakfast) was just okay. You definitely needed a car if you wanted to do any traveling. The beach was very close to the hotel and it was nice. Local shopping and restaurants were limited. We drove to Salou.
everything (besides the noise until the late evening hours) the noise and eventually the fact that while taking dinner we weren't told clearly and in advance that the dinner is a 20EUR value free buffet
pure, comfortable, quiet, calm. It is like food. Expect more from the European cuisine. Photos rooms on the site were not true. a few outdated.
the variety of things one can do while being there and enjoying his journey eventually the rooms (beds)could be more comfortable while talking about a 4 star hotel
excellent reception service, good breakfast, excellent location
the hotel looked very nice, it had an pleasant admosphere. The staff was very nice and helpfull. I was very quiet, we enjoyed it a lot.
Good location near the beach This hotel doesn't match 4 stars: rooms are VERY poor furnished, dirty, service awful, meal bad. We had to leave this hotel earlier than expected
Terrific pool and the ground floor room with the little garden was nice. Mainly french guests in the hotel. They shout and scream at one another, clatter about and always eat and stay in their rooms every night. Tight buggers never go to a restaurant etc so they are there 24 /7. hotel was like fat camp - unbelievably huge fatties wallowed around pool area.
The location and views from our balcony were superb. We were really impressed by the excellent standards and great value for money. The self catering facilities were compact but more than adequate. We would definitely stay there again. Unfortunately there are no restaurants/bars in this hotel and not knowing the area, and arriving quite late, we felt as though we then had to travel miles to find somewhere to eat.
Pleasant location and quiet Food of poor quality and limited availability
Great place to take kids, there is a play area, 3 pools and a kid's club with activities for 5-10 year olds. The wait staff was extremely friendly, very pleasant & helpful. The food was not very good. Breakfast buffet of about 10 different kinds of bread, one kind of sliced cheese, sliced lunch meats, canned fruit, coffee & juice not really worth 8 euros in my opinion... I did not try the dinner buffet - I looked at it a couple of times but I simply didn't think it was worth 21 euros.
The hotel is a newly built complex yet well away from the seaside sprawl of the costas. I know the area well, but discovered tiny villages I have never visited right on the doorstep. The apartment was advertised as a five person apartment. This means only one bedroom and one double bed, the other three beds are sofa beds in the tiny sitting area - a trifle cramped.
Hotel area is beautiful and nice, apartments quite large and have pretty much everything you need for basic cooking etc. Nice LARGE beds, considering being in Spain :) It´s far from the beach etc, have to drive everywhere. The beach area and the surroundings aren´t that charming, everything is a bit worn out. Hotel itself seems to suit to families with small children, as nearly every morning you would wake up at 6 because of noice through paper thin walls. Mainly french guests were otherwise nice and peaceful neighbours, though. Rooms were a bit dirty.
After our difficulties and questioning about the existance of the hotel we were really very impressed with the facilities. We would highly recommend the hotel to our friends None, just send some directions and correct contact details
Very kind and helpful staff, clean and recently reformed hotel, quiet (room towards seaside, 3rd floor), excellent value for money. Breakfast improvable, fruits not fresh and generally limited choice, but probably still acceptable for this category. Choice of teas upon request, but unfortunately brewed with tap water. No cereals, milk or yoghurt. Staff is very helpful and these things may be available upon request.
The rooms were very clean and spacious. There was a nice view of the sea from our apartment. The pool was lovely and there were plenty of sunbeds available. The staff were very friendly and could speak english very well. We couldn't get any stations on our television and although there is a bus service outside it is a little bit far from the town unless you had hired a car.
We were really looking forward to staying here for one night on our tour around Spain. Totally dissapointed. It's basically in the middle of no where. Because of this we had to eat in their restaurant and it was totally overpriced, which you would'nt mind if it was good, but it was awful. After dinner we decided to have a drink in their bar, but found out that it was closed. 10.pm. Closed bar!!! I have never heard of that. Shabby hotel really. Looks nice from the outside but dissapointing.
Breakfast - open late and very good spread. Sitting on the terrace watching golfers. The construction of the hotel makes it very noisy - corridors, scraping furnitues, alarm clocks in next room etc
Swimming and jacuzzi were good but water too cold. Unfortunately did not have time to experience the other treatments on offer.
1. The fact that I could not have breakfast before 08:30 am. 2. The poor sonorical insulation of the room: I could not sleep one night because of my neighbour snoring!
Really lioked the spa facitities A very nice hotel, limited options on the evening meal menu, in fact we went out when we had wanted to dine in.
Clean and comfortable with lovely views. We could not stay longer
Quite location with excellant facilities, ideal for relaxation or excercise ,with friendly staff Needs a little more international language on sinage, menu's etc
pool area some staff not friendly
the spa and the quietly area breakfast was poor
Nice location close to coast ,attractive building, good room ,excellent buffet breakfast , nice terrace restaurant with good food and wine , well looked after par 3 golf course As a hotel with extra facilities ie pool , sauna , treatment room , golf ,it is very good . if I had been looking for a spa break I would have been disappointed.
perfect location, sea-view room with balcony really good, ideal for 1 week vacation need to update its facilities
The view from the balcony, and the Wireless service in the lounge
Hotel staff was very nice and everything was great for that money. and the situation of this hotel is great!!!! i stayed on -1floor and it was too noisy over there and not really seaview, but a promenade view((((
Staff were terrific, super sea view balcony, excellent choice for breakfast, clean towels every day.Fine base to visit many monastories and the Ebro delta. However holiday makers should be aware there is very little to do in the local area except for the beach which the hotel practically sits on.We know this part of Spain very well-including this town-so we got exactly what we wanted.
the room was very basic and could have done with a coat of paint after paying for a delux room i was very disappionted with the lack of facilities
Location alongside the promenade. Completely Spanish / Catalan environment. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful - at reception, in the restaurant and the bar. On the square across the road from the hotel there was a craft market every evening and a bar with live entertainment.Hired a bike for the duration and one day took a train and then spent the day cycling around the Ebre Delta. The main course of the evening meal could perhaps have been better on some days.
A friendly, relaxed, comfortable 3 star hotel. We had a balcony overlooking the local beach (pedestrianised) in a quiet environment.Good car parking. We stayed half board which was acceptable if not exciting. Seemed to be popular with other continentals. Ideal for a few days on a driving holiday. Hope to go back. Maybe it is a little dated if you want absolute mod cons but was fine for us.
Handy for the beach, overlooks the sea
Room and view, Location excellent Breakfast was very poor, buffet style but really poor.
Clean, comfortable airy room with good ensuite facilities. The television did not show any English programmes, not even the news which we have had in all our previous hotel stays.
great location on top of beach and near centre of town good breakfast
i liked the fact that it was near the beach, with some great scenery in the area. very expensive hotel , poor service
