New, good location, helpful staff, accessories complete.
Breakfast, though free and well presented, is tasteless.
Everything looked clean and new. Love especially the separate toilet and shower areas. The toiletries were good and the Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer was an added bonus. Room and bed were pretty big by Tokyo standards. While it’s not a luxury hotel, the furnishings were of a high quality which made for a very pleasant stay. Every room is equipped with a mobile phone with free unlimited data which guests can bring out and about. Not only did it come in very handy in touring Tokyo (I used mainly the Google map & chrome apps) but also for arranging the hotel’s Housekeeping matters.
Mainly that it did not have a covered driveway. While guests can get dropped off right outside the hotel by the small road that leads to the hotel, guests would need to walk out to the main roads to hail a taxi. The hotel can call a taxi for guests but with an added fee. This lack of shelter can be a big problem in wet weather conditions. Next, the daily complimentary breakfast which alternates between Japanese and Western gets boring by the 3rd morning as items don’t vary much. Still, we had fun having a picnic style breakfast in the room.
Hotel room was very confortable and fresh. Staff were very friendly and always able to assist. Location is fantastic. 100 metres from main shopping strip of Ginza, 200 metres walk from a major rail station gviving you access to all tokyo rail lines. I would definitely stay there again on my next visit.
Only thing i could pick on is, it would be good to have a couple of English Channels on the room TV.
We loved our stay at this Karaksa Hotel. It is a brand new modern hotel. Our connecting rooms were very comfy with high quality fittings. It is in a great central location with easy access to main stations and metro lines. The complimentary smart phone provided for guest use in each room was a surprise and proved to be an invaluable benefit, and the all day complimentary snacks and refreshments provided in the lounge were a very welcome extra touch. Thank you Karaksa for helping make our visit to Japan very special.
Couldn't really fault this hotel. The only small negative was the limited breakfast choice. This was delivered to our room daily and alternated between western and Japanese. Whilst this is a great concept, the fixed menu was not really to our taste. However, this didn't spoil our experience and there are plenty of alternatives nearby for fussy eaters.
