I've been there many times and I've always enjoyed it, I always come back. Just gets better each time. No.
The location in gorgeus, services very good, it would be better if personell would speak better english. Food was excelent, and the entire area is very well preserved.
The location, one of the best The staff was not friendly, not professional. The food was not at the level of the hotel. For the first time in our life, we had to make a list of 10 complaints that we discussed at the end of our 7days holidays with the hotel manager. He accepted, was aware, and presented his appologies. You should visit this Parador, but not stay in it. It's to expensif (price/quality ratio is not ok). This is rather a touristic attraction but not a place to spend your holiday.
we liked just the location. The staff is not professional and does not pay attention at all.The food from the restaurant was horrible. The morning buffet is good.
Proximity to town. Historical nature. Beautiful views. Yes. They said they only had 7 double rooms in the whole hotel which is quite ridiculous. I will make my complaint separately regarding this. Both dinner in the restaurant and a snack in the cafe were substandard for a hotel of this supposed quality. This is not an international hotel- nobody understood or could speak English to an adequate level. The pool was outside but unheated, therefore cold.
The hotel was a relaxing & very peaceful place to be with magnificent views. The only reason we have marked down services and facilities is that the wonderfully positioned swimming pool on a sunny afternoon was not staffed and we could not get towels or loungers when we asked at reception - we were just told it was not possible until Sunday (we asked on Thursday!) They also seemed to be having some problems with breakfast staff - but we trust all staffing problems were temporary.
The architecture and the surrounding views and scenery. It was quiet, comfortable, clean and roomy.
we loved the ambiance, the people, the seting, and most of all the beautiful views all around
Big room, big bathroom. Nice people. Great breakfast.
Great location, special place.
All was magnificent! Nothing, all very much was pleasant.
Large room with balcony overlooking the sea. Good location just south of Baiona with plenty of parking that most alternatives lack. Use of the indoor spa was an additional 12 euros per person per day and the outdoor free pool was tiny. The hotel restaurant was also expensive.
The swimming pool ( tasotherapy) is fantastic! But must pay per hour of use... But its the best of the hotel, you should try!
Location, Location, Location. (Make sure you book a window table if having dinner there in the evening). Good all round standard though we did not use all facilities. It is worth paying the extra for the sea view from the room. The hotel management could perhaps encourage the local authority (by making a donation?) into providing some safe walking paths along the coast road - which is an excellent way to work off the evening meal.
Position very useful for town centre. room was very clean and also very quiet. never used the full retaurant but the breakfast was very comprehensive. Will certainly use them again if another business trip brings me to the area. Car parking was a little awkward to access and a tad expensive.
clean, good location, value for money and friendly staff.
A great and comfortable room, tv, big bed, automatic key, air conditioning, a big bathroom with jacuzzi too (i didn't found it in a 4 star too..). Free big parking for the car. A great hotel, I suggest it Some little things to improve of fix, but nothing of important. Maybe a few outside the city centre, could be a trouble if you don't have a car
The room and the free wifi all over the Hotel... I liked everything in the Hotel, except the poor food in the restaurant, that could be better...
Location to Customer
Clean, friendly staff, good food, quiet, free parking at hotel. Convenient for Vigo region, being near autostrada and then easy to drive south to Portugal. (1) Exceedingly hard to find (especially at night) because the google directions are hopelessly inaccurate and they mark the hotel in the wrong place. This is compounded by inaccurate or nonexistent road signposting (eg exit 168 at the end of the e1/ap9 directs you northbound on to a550, which is incorrect. The road is in fact the a55 which you cannot then exit at Gullarei. You need to go south to Tui to pick up the northbound n550. (2)There is nothing to do, if walking out - no village centre -just straggling houses/factories for miles.
Good hotel with English-speaking staff. Clean large rooms - we really enjoyed staying there! The GPS coordinates on booking.com are incorrect. The correct coordinates are 42.4.56 and 8.37.29
Clean and spacious rooms, good value for the money, friendly cafeteria staff upon late arrival (we got some very well served sandwiches), nice bathroom with large bath although the hydromassage thing feels more like sitting in a floating river than a spa ;) ... anyway, it's there Sewer smell in bathroom (fix it by covering the drain in the middle of the floor). Unpleasant and unpolite service at breakfast; when asking for continental breakfast, the waitress tried to push us taking from the buffet, which obviously contained lower quality products (bad coffee, plain juice from a box, etc.); in the end we got our fresh orange juice and coffee ... and everything but a smile...
Good facilities and very favourable price (per room)
The hotel was fine at all levels, cool and well run. Breakfast was good too. Very reasonable price for the quality. Not enough pillows
Extreemly nice. Friendly, helpful and easy-going staff. Beautiful view to Playa Amerrica
Out of town next to busy road. Free parking is good but location is poor if you want to visit Baiona. Sea View was a view of a busy road and the backs of houses that fronted the sea. Not quite what I expected.
Closeness to the beach. Free private parking. No fan or air conditioning
very morden hotel, nice room design, very good location staff at reception should be not only professional but also more friendly responsive.
I was traveling with a friend through the Rias Baixas area of Galicia and we spent two nights here. It was absolutely amazing. A lovely, peaceful and relaxing setting with a very comfortable room and delicious breakfast — even made gluten free for us. The owners were beyond friendly and helpful. Would stay here again in a second.
It was central and I had a comfortable and clean room. It was a Saturday night and there were noisy parties in the street all night, until 6.00 am. This wasn't the hotel's fault but I still didn't get any sleep!
Hotel is very basic and old-fashioned. Could could use a good renovation. I would say that it is a one star hotel that sort of spoils one's appreciation of A Guardia, a really pretty and pleasant sea-side town. Hotel is old, dark and dingy.
