Built between 1927 and it's first opening in 1929, The Kirk retains it's rich history and timeless charm. Standing as a landmark for almost 90 years, The Kirk has transitioned from the original 200 room grand hotel to the present 40 unit apartment complex and separate 7 room hotel. The Kirk changed ownership and management early in 2014 and has expanded to offer not only nightly and weekly hotel stays, but affordable 3 month corporate options and regular tenant leases.
Corporate leases are available to guests visiting Tooele and surrounding areas on prolonged business, internships or other commitments, where an apartment type lodging is preferred. Corporate leases include all utilities, basic cable t.v., wi-fi, affordable full service laundry and apartment cleaning options and decorated, fully furnished units, including living inventory. Living inventory includes dinnerware, silverware, pots, pans, bakeware, cooking utensils, tupperware, small kitchen appliances, bedding, cleaning and laundry items (ex. iron, laundry basket, broom, hangers, etc.), basic kitchen and bath linens, rugs, shower curtain and various specialty items upon request (ex. blender, rice cooker, crockpot, etc). We are proud to have some of our corporate tenants return yearly or lease long term for their rotating employees.
The Kirk also offers regular leases for Tooele's local residents. Leases are available for 6 month durations. Ask aboout discounts for signing on a year lease!
Regular leases include all utilities except electricity, Directv HD 120+ channels and wi-fi. Most apartments are furnished though unfurnished units are available or can be negotiated upon requests
The Kirk's unique hotel rooms are available to guests at nightly and weekly rates. A maximum one month stay may also be reserved at a discounted rate. Hotel rooms include basic cable t.v., wi-fi, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker and toaster. Many extra items are available upon request.
The Kirk is proud to remain one of the few "pet friendly" communities available to it's guest's and resident's. Approval is on a case by case basis with deposit and/or fee.
Other amenities include two coin laundry facilities with new appliances, a large common room with grand kitchen and pool table, spacious private courtyard and grounds, ample off street private parking, pet enclosure for short outside leaves (personel lock required.), beautiful community lobby, one of a kind historic environment, secure access controlled entry, video surveillance, directly across from parks and dining, close to schools, library and shopping and an on-site management/maintenance team. The near future is bringing a new outside "gathering" area with fire pit and many remodeling and improvement projects.
