Close to baseball fields for tournament
Booked non smoking and when we shoes up after the games were over we were told ' sorry, it's our last room'. At 2300 hrs, what do you do. My 14 year old spent the night in a smelly room waking all congested before playing again the next day.
Nice people at check in
Hot tub was filled in with dirt.
Friendly staff and a decent continental breakfast
It is quite dated.
Close to family. Clean and well appointed
A scary man knocked at my door at midnight asking me to open the door. He was a panhandler. He knew I was a woman in the room.
Couldn't hear noise from the adjoining room
We had ants in one room and a chair that had a disgusting pad. the other room had issues with getting the door handle to open the door. The room with the ice machine was filthy.
Nice people at front desk
Pool was aweful. The jacuzzi had been filled in with dirt and unusable. Walls were paper thin. Beds were rock hard.
The breakfast was excellent.
An outlet wasn't working but the staff took care of it right away.
Price and location.
Old furniture. Desk old and desk chair was filthy.
Was perfect for what we needed. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Room was dirty. toilet ran all night. shower was disgusting. door was glued back together we're look like somebody kicked it in. air conditioner didn't work
Older motel, clean rooms, indoor swimming pool in separate building, fridge, microwave and safe in the room, wi-fi, free breakfast includes good, thick sausage gravy. Stayed there twice because of good value.
This place has been recently updated not really what i expected. Rooms look very clean..Well worth the $* a night that i paid. Their breakfast was amazing; Waffles and biscuits and gravy..we didnt even have to go out to eat for breakfast.
The staff was efficient and very freindly. They helped with maps, restaurants, routes, activities. All very helpful since I was new to Topeka. I needed a place to sleep, to work on my computer, and to drive to various locations both within and near the city. All this worked out fine. The location was perfect, easy access to the major roads. Restaurants and stores nearby. The breakfast was simple, but what one can expect from the price.
I know there is ''econo'' in Econo Lodge, but this one is a bit old. It has a good location for activities at the Capitol, and the price is nice. It's a place to flop into bed, but if you want more keep looking.
