The staff were very friendly and helpful!
The parking price should be either included with the stay or at least discounted. $33 a night to park somewhere I paid to stay is a little unreasonable to me.

Excellent place to stay Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room furnishings and general amenities were to a high standard.
More information about the hotel and local amenities available in the hotel room would be beneficial
Excellent location, fantastic room, decent gym
Due to the Toronto film festival the price was much higher than normal (which could be said of all hotels) at the normal rate it’s excellent value. For the rates during that week I would expect a full time butler.....
The hotel is well placed just a short walk from Union Station and CN Tower. Across the road are several restaurants and bars, and the St Lawrence market is only a block or two away. The Distillery District is a little further, but still within a comfortable walk of the hotel. The hotel itself is well laid out with a lovely restaurant (Cafe Nicole) on the ground floor. We dined there several times, aside from being there for breakfast, and the meals were excellent. Our room was big and comfortable (for the three of us), with a large airy bathroom. The safe was big enough for our laptop, and there was a kettle as well as the coffee maker. We never had to wait very long for a lift, and they're big enough for several people with luggage (not all hotels think of this). Overall we really liked the Novotel and it made our stay in Toronto that much more pleasant.
The airconditioner had a problem which caused the carpet around it to become soaked. Unfortunately my bag was lying there, but no clothing got affected. The hotel attended to it quickly, but the problem recurred and the carpet remained wet until we left a couple of days later. Housekeeping kept turning the airconditioning back on (the technician advised us to turn it off when absent to stop the overflow problem) and setting it to 3 degrees C below what we had left it on. These are minor issues, though, and our overall impression of the hotel is still very positive.
Relax in 4-star comfort in the heart of the St. Lawrence Neighborhood at Novotel Toronto Centre. Your spacious, contemporary room allows you to stretch out and unwind. Breakfast is served in the stylish Cafe Nicole and will start your day right and the understated elegance of the lobby bar is the perfect setting for a nightcap.
