This family-friendly Don Mills hotel is located in the entertainment district, within 1 mi (2 km) of Aga Khan Museum and Ontario Science Centre. Edward Gardens and Sunnybrook Park are also within 3 mi (5 km).
Cons: The room was extremely dirty, with the exception of the bed. There were almond bits left on the furnace and the tables were sticky. The décor of the room needs to be refurbished, as paint and other areas are deteriorating. There's also been multiple times when there were no staffs at the reception area, leading to long wait times.
Pros: Hostess Crystal.
Near all shopping amenities.
Close to Don Valley Parkway.
Cons: No microwave or refrigerator.
Pros: It was nice that there were 2 pools and that they were available a lot of the time with long hours of operation.
Cons: We updated for a "deluxe" room but we had mold on our ceiling, and there was a chunk of wood missing from our balcony, and also the mattress was very poor quality.
Building has old bones, but rooms were recently renovated
Pros: Room was nice, good view out the back. The pool was fun, one of the main reasons for our stay.
Cons: Found a chicken bone on the floor of our room. The sauna was in bad shape, in dire need of updates
Pros: the only
Cons: Too many stairs
Pros: Nice pool and workout facilities, good location, comfortable bed, nice grounds around the hotel
Cons: On demand wasn't working we called several times for someone to come and fix and each time they said they would and never did. The pool was being repaired as we swam (painted around the pool area), the breakfast included was great however the information was not conveyed correctly and we were apparently in the "wrong dining area" the exact same breakfast was in the "right " are so don't understand the comment by staff.Simple information about the breakfast and hotel was not available in the room directory so we actually had to call down to ask(no reason for this if made available in the room)
Cons: Could not connect to wifi at all.
good hotel
Pros: the hotel is good for the value of money
Cons: the elevator not working properly , no water boiler in the room
Great stay!
Pros: I loved the facilities! The pool, lobby, and other areas were reminiscent of a resort. It was also a very quick drive into the tourist area of Toronto without being as busy.
Cons: Our toilet was clogged in our first room, but the staff quickly put us in an upgraded room. The first room was nice, especially for the price, but the second one was a definite upgrade. There was a balcony and tons of space!
deteriorating infrustructure
Cons: Stayed 2 nights, had to change rooms 3 times because the heaters did not work (I visited during the winter). Having to repack 3 times after a long day of working was not pleasant. The staff tried to brush it off, kept saying this never happens, yet three rooms in a row had non functional heaters.
Needs repairs and overhaul. Stay from 7/19,20/16
Pros: When we arrived I had asked for a handicap room if available as my husband is disabled. We were given one on the first floor. When we entered the room it was hot and had a dank odor. The air conditioner was blowing out warm air only. We called the front desk they sent a gentleman to checkb it out. His reponse was "it's running as cold as it can". We asked to be moved to another room. The second room we were moved on the second floor was dirty and smelled of tobacco smoke. what upset me the most was the strong tobacco smoke smell on supposedly clean towels. At this point we were tired and didn't want to call the front desk again. The next day I had gone to the front desk again and stated the particulars. The women was very professional and very willing to make things righ. We were moved to the 6th floor and it was as if we were in a different hotel. It was clean well kept and did not smell!
Cons: Update/upkeep the rooms that require updating. No wifi available in rooms on 1st and 2nd floors. 6th floor had wifi.
Pros: parking was reasonably price and location is right infront or at rear entrance
Cons: wifi no so great and indoor pool in winter could be bigger
