The food in the center of the town
It is actually a residence, more than a Hotel (American Style). The Studio was great - spacious and well furnished. Lovely bathroom and surroundings ... not far from Seville city centre. Ideal, if you travel by car and you want to escape crowd, noises and save money for a nice accomodation. Breakfast Buffet has lots option and good quality Hot water was off after I took a bath, so my girlfried had to take a cold shower... not up to the standards ... couldn't be bothered to complaint
Rooms were excellent The attached restaurant was absolutely dreadful. A complaint was registered with hotel.
The garden and children playground. The breakfast quality was poor.
The location was perfect, but only if you have a car. The walls are very thin. We heard every word a couple talked about next door, and it was not positive words.
The outdoor facilities, and the local restaurants. Too many roundabouts from and to Seville, not your fault, of course.
The breakfast was very good - all tastes catered for; helpful staff. Not sure about table seating - round tables of 10 or more, OK if you're in a party. Tables of 2 or 4 available but prob not when hotel has more guests. Difficult to find (we don't have Satnav). Helpful sign immediately leaving main highway, then no more. Saw what we thought were "army barracks" & alarmed to find it was the hotel ! Whole place stank of sewage, was empty save for a departing coachload of Spanish tourists, then silent and characterless.
When we inquired about dinner we were told there were 380 guests for dinner, and we could come at 7.30 but there was only a buffet.
Very friendly staff and the buffet restaurant was excellent value. Some of the decor and public areas were dated and showed need for repair in places
Great Value for money motel. Basic buffet dinner provided at very reasonable price - including bottle of wine. Ideal Motel if you wish to visit Seville and have your own transport. Quite difficult to find and would be totally inappropriate if you did not have your own transport.
the relaxing atmosphere the food menu
Not much Nearly everything. First and foremost, it is a convention and meetings hotel, and as such, caters to large groups. As a result, the single guest gets relegated to the back of the line in terms of service. Our problems included: Our safe was not working when we checked in. The air conditioner kept the temperature at a humid 78 degrees. The internet connection did not work. The only concierge worked limited hours. The breakfast that we were promised on our reservation was not provided. The floor of the rooms was filthy. We left one day early because our experience was so poor. We negotiated our way out of the hotel at a reduced price due to all our problems. Also, as an aside, it is a 40 minute walk to the downtown area and any sites.
Very good value for money. Very comfortable hotel and very helpful staff Like many hotels in Spain, there are no tea/coffee making faclities
The room service and facilities were excellent. Lacked the evening dining facilities for the rest of the hotel quality.
the breakfast was great. this is not a 4star hotel.but for a 3 star hotel was very good.
we found the hotel to be very clean and the furnishings exquisite , the grounds were well maintained .Thankyou for a nice stay. We found the international restaurant not very good value for money.
Whilst not as central as we would have liked, the hotels staff and facilities were excellent. The only draw back is the location. As we were only there for 2 days it would have been better to have stayed in a hotel closer to the City centre. However a hotel of this quality would have been much more expensive in the City Centre, so maybe the balance was right?
Fantastic hotel, comfortable, efficient staff, lovely buffet breakfast. Our junior suite was amazing. One of the best hotels,... would stay at this hotel again.
Friendliness and comform
Yes, bar in lobby very slow with snacks during day (sandwiches etc)
The pool outside, which is not usaual in a town like Sevilla, but due to the very high temeratures it is very nice to have it It isn't a 5 star hotel. It's 3,5 stars. Due to its spacy design lots of areas inside the buildings get very hot and also the rooms. The a/c isn't able to change this. The worst: The windows are like doors. We have bben in the 3rd. floor and it was posible to open the window-door until a limit stop doesn't allow to open it more. The open gap was 15...20cm, engough that a small child can fall out of the window - horrible...SPAIN Is different!!!
Atmosphere! Spacious setup of complete hotel with great (modern) architecture, largest room ever. From the dozens of hotels I booked through bookings.com this is my favourite. And when you book out of (business) season incredibly cheap. Can't walk to city centre, but since I could park my car for free the hotel the few taxi rides were still cheaper then parking at a hotel in the centre.
The staff was great, good breakfast included, the location was perfect, the service and room were fantastic. We will definitely come back. We liked everything
Easy to find (with GPS!). Clean, tidy, quiet. Swimming Pool & Spa facilities all shut. And 5 stars in Spain seems to be a lower standard that in other countries. Not walking distance to the old town.
Quite upset for having to pay in advance at a 5 star hotel guaranteed by booking.com with a credit card
nothing very hostile service
Location is very bad, taxi is only way to go center of city and it is very difficult to get taxi in center of city. I can not beliave this hotel is 5 stars hotel. Hotel staff is not helpful(kind) for us.
Good location, right next to Isla Magica and very quiet at the same time. Nice access to the city center (8 euro cab to "Torre Del Ouro") and 2 km distance to a large supermarket. This hotel gives an amazing attention to detail. Everything worked fine and we were very well treated.
The room was spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable, and pillows galore! The staff was super friendly! We were new to the city and the hotel was quite removed from the city center. I read reviews in advance so I knew what to expect, but it's worth noting.
Close to everything
Size of the room. Initial english welcome/help. Service when a problem (stolen camera) arose. Couldn't point us to a open police office (just a closed one, which they said was impossible :S). Wouldn't help call a (spanish speaking) policenumber (091/092, which we couldn't reach on our own). Just left us 'hanging'...
Location, near of a plaza de armas shopping center, good service, near the river,,, i recommend this hotel everything was gr8 but the parking was expinsive
good location good room service friendly staff very little english spoken by staff very poor wine choice
Staff very helpful and friendly. Central to Sevilla; walking distance to most major tourist attractions.
Please write at least 15 words
Good hotel in a good location. We were closer to the center than we thought, only a few blocks away from the start of shopping center.
the comfort and air conditioning the wireless was expensive
The bed was pretty comfortable, the shower was nice and the room was clean. Didn't feel the price was justified. Especially with breakfast not included, which was the norm every where else we've stayed in Europe. Thought the front desk staff could be friendlier. Main think preventing us from recommending is the cost.
Good location, pool on the roof is excellent, very clean & comfortable Keys for the door frequently didn't work, brand new hotel so there was quite a bit of construction going on but nothing too severe
The confort of the Hotel Need to pay the parking
The room and amenities are fantastic for the price I paid. Staff also allowed us to check in early at around 9am. Free Internet is wired. Would prefer wifi as there were 2 laptops in use.
All facilities, room, pool area very good
Pretty hotel, very clean and quiet. Customer service was fair. This could be a great hotel if the front desk staff was trained better in customer care.and under good management.
Hotel was comfortable and within 10 min walk to most areas you'd want to visit. Staff were very helpful. The bedroom lighting was ridiculously dim and the breakfast, although good, was expensive. Didn't find many eating places close to the hotel. Not the hotel's fault but taxi to and from airport very expensive.
Close to center of city and proximity to Metro station Room was to dark at night, need more light.
Quiet, spacious and comfy. The lack of local spirit could disappoint those who come for touristic rather than business purposes.
Nice hotel very clean rooms No wireless lan in the rooms
High quality hotel. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. All facilities available. 13 euro breakfast was excellent. Very good room rates. Easy 15 min stroll downtown. 5 min to airport bus stop. Some may find absence of local facilities a problem. We didn't.
Very nice hotel at a good price. Location is close to major sites.
Very close to the train station and barrio Santa cruz
The Ayre has a mauve and purple theme which is pleasant set in a delightful modern decor. There is a pool, though a bit small and a buffet (which I did not have) for breakfast (for a fee), For a short night in Seville it was so convenient to be able to walk to the Train station, with luggage in tow. I asked for a quieter room as there were many on my floor and they immediately moved me. They have toiletries and more than I needed. I wish it had been 10 euros less, but in end I would stay again if I needed to take the train.
Lobby looks great and the people were very friendly. My only "problem" was that the room was a bit outdated.
The hotel is literally right outside the gate of the train station. It was perfect for us since we were trying to get in and out of the train station as quickly as possible. It is perfect for business travelers or someone passing through quickly. The outside and lobby are very modern, but the rooms are dated but clean. Though their gym had equipment from the 1970s it was nice I have something to workout on. Not much to complain about.
I truly enjoyed my stay and appreciate you have employees who speak english. The service staff are excellent!
Location to main train station Size and cleanliness of hotel room Most staff had enough English to communicate adequately The price of laundry is prohibitive - you need a guest laundry Free wifi in rooms is now the norm in most hotels
I stayed very short time, but within that, all worked. Good location if you're comoing fom the airport after a long trip, and want to get quickly to the hotel. --
-The hotel can easely be reached by car and, at the same time, lies near the city center (a 10 min. walk). -Very good hotel service -Despite the traffic outside the hotel, the rooms are very quiet
The hotel's confort It's location (it isn't in the city center)
location, staff, swimming pool everything was fine
Hotel is fun and there are pool, gym, and restaurant in it Location is not great, slightly far from city centre and no bus stop near the hotel
extremely helpful staff, very comfortable room, excellant facilities, we were very pleased. Alittle way out of the centre, but for us arriving by train the location was ideal.
trhe pool terrace, the location, the friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and the late checkout as requested
It was so close to city centre. So there was no problem for us to reach where we wanted soon. Hotel staff was good enough. Although it was difficult to find people who know English even in hotels in Spain, we faced no problem about communication.
The hotel was central to all the places of interest. We did not need to use the car during our visit. The hotel staff were very helpful with the garage parking. Even though the breakfast was very substantial the price would be prohibitive to those with families
the rooms and bathroom don't have enough storage space,no hooks in the bathroom,it is OK for 1-2 nights, but not practical for a longer stay
The location was great and the staff was very friendly. We also really liked all the hotel facilities, especially the swimming pool.
The location is very good
Friendly staff, very clean, lovely rooms, excellent location. Loved the rooftop pool and the pool staff!
the roof top pool was vvvvery nice and a great hiatus from the hot bussel of the sevilla streets. i wish that there was a bar there though. the staff was sort of gruffily helpful and not all that friendly.
10 minute walk to city center To get into the city center you have to cross a narrow busy road
The hotel is an excellent mixture of old European elegance and very modern updates. The bed was luxurious, the bath was gorgeous marble, the room spacious and the balcony overlooked the cobblestone street. The WIfi worked well. It is centrally located with easy walking access to upscale shopping, Flamenco, the Cathedral, etc. Breakfast was too pricey at 18 Euro when there is an abundance of cafes in the adjacent plaza.
best location possible wiew on internal patio
Location fantastic - we paid extra for superior rooms with views which was worth while. Rooftop area with pool and view was great. Breakfast very good Service was sometimes very slow. It took nearly two hours for the staff to retrieve our car one morning which was incredibly frustrating as we had planned a trip out of Seville. Bar service was also slow and often the orders were forgotten completely
location is great, great roof terrace the room with the shower and the toilet inside smelled a lot. no flexibility from hotel staff to change rooms. highlight was that I need to depart 2 days earlier than planned and they refused to pay back the money...although I had to stay in a room with less comfort and that smell. very unpleasant manager too. poor poor behaviour!
An exceptional hotel: staff, rooms, pool, location, bar. Everything. You can't go wrong with this place.
location was excellent right beside everything so need for taxis. Views from roof terrace spectacular. Rooms very small and lacking wardrobe space. Bit of a smell of drains in rooms too. Drinks very expensive in hotel bars. Breakfast nice but repetitive.
Hotel valet vaused significant damage to car while parking it and did not tell us
I liked the location because it was right where the action was. It was old but it was not nicely renovated. The rooms especially the floors appeared untidy and unclean, the old pipes were showing. . Overall, the atmosphere gave me an icky feeling. The walls were very thin, you could here shouting outside till the wee hours of the morning and you can here the very minute noise from the other guests inside the hotel. The bed was very uncomfortable andthe pillows were a joke, very thin overused and flat.
the hotel design
design, facilities smell
Excellent location and trendy hotel. Perfect both on convenience, and services. Nice terrazzo bar
very central, lovely hotel, staff a little too formal on arrival - but that is a bit petty because they were lovely.
swimming pool in centre of city, beautiful setting, very friendly and helpful staff
The Alfonso X111 is in a fantastic location right in the real heart of Seville. Other than the high cost, the Hotel was faultless, quiet, comfortable, good service etc. The decoration and history make it unique. The high cost per night means for a special occasion its fantastic but for seeing Seville there are better value hotels avaliable. Money no object - stay at the Alfonso X111
Good location and very nice old hotel. The man in the reception wondered if I can bring may bags to the room by my self. No problem, but for a 5 stars hotel this is not a question.
they didn't charge me for the internet
excellent service, beautifull hotel everything was perfect! very diffficult to find when you drive into Sevilla as there is a one way system, and very poor indications!
The property is decidedly a Grande Dame. You almost feel underdressed if not attired in formal wear. However it a far from stuffy. The staff are exquisite, knowledgeable and charming. The team of Concierge were outstanding in their recommendations and arrangements. . Breakfast buffet is one of the best I've enjoyed. The Executive chef needs to learn how to get a brigade together. Dined twice in the main restaurant. On the second night the majority of the diners waited endlessly for their courses to arrive. Obviously a big break down. Any Chef, worth their title, should have been in view and pologizing for their ineptitude. The only blip on the radar but it was a massive one that tarnished 3 incredible nights.
Hotel Alponso XIII is an amazing Hotel, very nice staf, excelent location in the center of sevilla. The room in which i stayd (grand deluxe) is great, very spacious en luxury. To pay euro 50,- for a simple breakfast is a bid much for what you get.
The ambience of the hotel overall and the quality of the staff. Road noise in the room and slightly ineffective aircon.
The standard of service, location and general facilities were fantastic Sometimes they did not do an evening bed turn down
excellent breakfast. Very efficient staff. very good location bath took about 20 minutes to run
Loved the location and the rooms as well as the overall ambience of the hotel. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Internet service in the room did not work
being able to use the roof top pool and solarium
Close to all attractions, swimming pool on the roof! The room was positioned on an inside courtyard so the natural light was limited, not a big deal, I guess you could ask for an outside position.
We enjoyed staying in this hotel - perfect location for walking to the more centrally located tourist destinations without being inundated with cruise ship imported visitors. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful in helping us navigate Seville as well as rent a car so we could venture to the coast. We booked this particular hotel because of the pool and rooftop options and when we arrived we found that it was closed until the end of June. Perhaps of no fault to the hotel, but the closure of this facility was definitely detrimental to the enjoyment of our stay and was not advertised very clearly when we booked the hotel.
very clean.Comfortable beds, well furnished. NIce bathroom. loved the kettle with tea and coffee facilities. Lack of Bar in lounge
Convenience for getting about in Seville. Room very quiet for city centre.
The room: comfortable well-appointed and simple No shade around the pool. Having specifically booked the Becquer because of the pool (for my grandchildren) we couldn't use it.
pleasantly surprized lovely hotel very clean nice sized rooms good position in city close to all attractions lovely hot soft water very friendly staff wife thought bed was hard and could not ajust heating
Cheap price for an amazing hotel. Clean and very nice staff!
A smart hotel on the edge of the centre of Seville, near the river, which meant it was very quiet at night but all the main sights were within a ten minutes easy stroll. I enjoyed the hotel bar cafe in the foyer, which meant as a solo traveller I didn't need to use the restaurant and could socialise with the local visitors too. Also it had a kettle in the room for we British early morning tea drinkers. As with most hotels, a lot of noise transfers between rooms and despite it being November and not full, the Spanish visitors will eat late and will return home between 1.00am and 3.00am which can be difficult for light sleepers. Also the beds are very firm to the point of being hard with the solid spanish bolster style pillows, although they do offer a choice of pillow softness, which helps a little.
Excellent all round service. The position of the hotel in the city was brilliant. I would definately stay there again. The meal in the restaurant was not the best, although the service was good.
Although star ratings in some countries tend to be generous but it was really a very basic and a bit jaded for a 3star, The hotel markets its self as a boutique hotel, It most certainly is not.
The location and the cleanliness were excellent. The breakfast was great each morning. None
We liked very much the spirit of this hotel - you get a much better feeling of the traditional Sevillan residences than staying in a standard hotel with rooms in row in a corridor. In this hotel even finding your room on your own after the staff has once shown the way is a pleasant exercise - you pass different patios with fountains, climb stairs and follow winding pathways. The room we had was beautifully furnished and the bath very comfortable. Our dinner in the hotel restaurant was less spectacular. The restaurant is beautiful, but the food was not to the standard one would expect.
This was a wonderful hotel with a perfect location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel!
Everything was great. The staff were very friendly, the decor was beautiful and definitely set up a romantic feel, made you feel like you were in another era.
very comfortable and clean
Lovely ambience (common areas and bedroom), excellent location, helpful staff. Spacious bedroom and good views. Nice bathroom but tight in some areas. Good choice of breakfast, but quality of some items left a bit to be desired.
I loved everything about this hotel. The location is wonderful. It's not in the center of the hustle and bustle but very close, only a few minute walk. It's nice and quiet at night. The hotel itself is stunning, so romantic & charming. The hotel is a maze - be patient it could take you 45 to find your room but it's worth the adventure. It's a very charming hotel that hasn't been updated in a big way in a long time so if you're looking for something NEW this is not the place for you. If you like character & tranquility you'll love this spot. I don't have anything negative to say but there are a few things I wish I knew before I booked because for some people these could be deal breakers. If you have mobility issues or can't climb stairs easily this is NOT the place for you. I mentioned the place is like a maze, which I loved but when I had 8 bags (2 weeks worth of luggage for travel around Spain) and couldn't find my room for 45 min. There is no rhyme or reason to the layout of this place so some rooms are up around winding hallways and hidden passage ways & there are no signs. Not handicap friendly! The other thing is that there is only wifi in the one common area lobby - so if you need to work or don't feel like splurging on an international data plan, you'll be disconnected for most of your stay as a lot of surround places don't have wifi either.
Decor and architecture Friendly staff Breakfast quality Small room Somewhat difficult to navigate
An atmospheric hotel made up of four old interlinked houses. The restaurant in the basement could be entered through a warren of tunnels.
The collection of buildings is beautiful and charming and the staff was very helpful after our initial problem with getting us into a nicer room. Well situated in the city. Much more impressive inside than you would expect. Our first room had mildew in the closet. I was bummed because we lost the spa tub, but they upgraded us to a suite as soon as we pointed out the issue.
It is a very charming hotel in the middle of Sevilla, most friendly staff, clean. More like a 5-star hotel. The loudliness, in our room you heard all the noises from other bathrooms, outside work etc.
An amazing collection of buildings grouped together to form the hotel, just finding your way to and from reception to your room was an adventure! Wandering through the little courtyards and passages was fun. The rooms were comfortable with lovely bathrooms and showers. We did not have rooms in the Patio de San Clemente as the booking said, but by the time we realised we felt it was too late to complain or to ask to move. If we had been staying more than two nights we might have done so. We felt they should offer a map of the hotel and Seville without having to be asked to do so. If they had we would have realised the mistake earlier.
Great location, fascinating grounds, helpful staff.
This is not a 5star hotel!! In terms of facilities-- there is no pool or gym. The staff is semi-helpful to say the least. Our bathroom was not cleaned on either day of our stay and housekeeping continually left our door unlocked and open. Almost everytime we returned to our room our door was open to anyone who wouldve liked to enter. When we adressed this problem with the front desk staff they seemed unconcerned and the problem continued. Our room also had cracked sinks, out-dated bathroom facilities, we were never given more soap or toilet paper, the list goes on. I would not recommend this hotel.
Emplacement très centra!, idéal pour visiter Séville. Chambres confortables et calmes. Service soigné. Très bon petit déjeuner. Le chocolat est divin! No Wifi. Free internet but you need an access code every 12h! Parking was full.
Breakfast very good and varied menu Hotel badly in need of refurbishment
Quite good hotel, not far from city center. Too much sofisticated design, but not comfortable: glass wall in wc, light control is very hard to understand. The staff is attentive only about thigs which bring money to the hotel ( propose better room for more money). As for request to call taxi they are not so enthousiatic.
The hotel receptionist was very helpful and moved us to a room that was more acceptable than the first one. The breakfast was good. The bathrooms were great to look at but didn't work too well - the design of the baths and showers wasn't very practical and there were no towel rails.
The spa and terrasse were amazing. Room was very nice but we had a luxe room I am wondering if smaller rooms were that nice. Corridors decoration was beautiful. Doors slaming in the morning. Breakfast was not very nice for that category of hotel. View from the room was not very nice
The staff were extremely helpful. We did have a problem with the air conditioning in the room but they changed our room. The location was great because it was ten minutes from the shops, the Cathedral and the night life. Really enjoyable stay in a lovely friendly atmosphere. We will definitely return.
Staff was excellent. No alarm clock in the bedroom. Spa facilities were very limited
located in a location that had good connections with all main roads as well as good public transport access to the centre of the city
easy to find, convenient location near airport, pleasant staff, breakfast buffet, Fit for pupose & reasonablly good value for 1 night stopover stains on sofa bed, worn furnishings, not in a particularly pleasant neighbourhood-
The rooms are comfortable and the price is very good. A bit far from the center but there is a good bus service. Very close to the airport if you have a flight early in the morning and you have to drop the car like I had.
very comfortable hotel, outside the centre but not to far, excellent room
Convenience to the local bus line for travel into city center.
. The receptionist Manuel however was excellent and aided us in advice. The location was too far away. had i had known this i would not have booked the hotel. Also for it's price it was too expensive. The breakfast wasn't very good
Convenient location. Price
was there for only one night wouldn`t want to stay for more 5* prices for a sub standard 3* hotel....
The room was on the 6th floor - excellent view from the balcony. The room also looked very nice and clean, the first impression was excellent. Although the room seemed to be very clean, there were tiny ants. Also, it was very warm in the room during the night and the only thing that helped was opening the door to the balcony.
This hotel was very handy for either a taxi or a bus into the city and managed to park thr car fre of charge!! The restaurant on an evening appeared to be closed or at least in a small part of the bar which also doubled up as the cafeteria, food was very expensive and not much service, we went to the city one night, the following night we expected to go to the restaurant but eneded up at a local take away as did some of the other guests!!!
Spacious Many amenities
Comfort, cleanliness, appearance
Very quiet room. Nice outdoor swimming pool. The water in the swimming pool was not heated and not possible to use in the beginning of October. Breakfast was unnecessarily expensive.
The room and pool area were lovely, however it would have been better had the pool bar been open for drinks and snacks. Poor restaurant and bar facilities.
Good. On one of the main roads of Seville, but without traffic noise. Only a 15 minutes walk to the city center.
very few front desk staff (it was a holiday), unusually long (>40 minutes) room service wait for just bottled water and ice (twice)
Cleanliness There were a lot of hidden charges. For example, there was no iron available. You had to pay 5 EUR to have a shirt ironed by laundry.
Fantastic bedrooms, great swimmingpool Location not so excellent, but downtown accessible easily by bus
Clean and with a good breakfast.
This hotel was very modern and clean. The rooms are nice and have all the emenities you need. Staff very friendly and nice breakfast. Located about a 15-20 min walk from Plaza Espana, about an 8min cab ride from the Cathedral. I would definitely stay at this hotel and any othe NH hotel again.
The stile of hotels The workers have been very rude and unpolite with customers
Nice restaurant, good food Extra payment for Spa and Wifi, no gym
Hotel is new and very nice. Staff was very helpful. Should have coffee maker in the room.
The bulding Not in the center Not 5 star in the room The staff is not knowldge about the area and travel
Beautiful hotel in a great location with lovely staff. Breakfast servings were a bit on the small side, but they were delicious.
I liked the attitude of the staff and their willingness to help in whatever capactity they are able to. Moroever, i liked the interior decoration of the hotel. We are vegetarians and found the restaurant menu limited for our tastes.
Good location, attentive staff, luxury interior
Beautifully restored hotel with modern, comfortable rooms. Definitely something special as it does feel quite luxurious. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. Would certainly stay there again.
I had the first day (a 8 nights stay) a room without window. Then I ask another room ,there was no tub in the bathroom and no direct light from outside. This is a dark room hotel.Five stars??? Yes,a five star jail in the dark
Nice design Non personalised services, bad location (by a busy corridor) of room 031
the hospatality, the service, the service in the restaraunt
The AlmaSeville is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms are incredible and the staff are delightful.
The hotel was beautiful, from the lobby to the outdoor courtyard, to the restaurant, to our actual room. The hotel blended history with moderninty well. The restaurant was delicious - we ate dinner one evening there, and although there was only one other couple, our food and wine were great. The location was great, walking distance to the Barrio de Santa Cruz.
Location and comfort Bar staff were poorly trained and lacked ingredients like lemons (in Spain!)
room size and details (shampoo, etc.) as well as the convenient location in Triana across the bridge from the center of town
The hotel receptionist on our arrival was excellent in trying to resolve a problem with car rental people. She immedatley realised we were stressed about the matter and intervened with the car rental company in a solid way. The view from our room over the river was second to none.
Nice terrace with views
The general ambience of the hotel Nothing to point out
The staff were most helpful, good location. The hotel looks out onto the river which has a walkway along the front, it was very noisy until 3-5am. Not the hotels fault, but should be noted. No free wi-fi in public areas for what was very much a business hotel.
The hotel rooms are quite spacious with a nice sized closet. I liked that it had a safe in the room as well. The location was good for me and I loved the view of the river. The breakfast has a lot of variety and the food was quite good. I like that the hair dryer was in the bathroom, but didn't like that you had to hold the on button to keep it going. This might sound picky but it's not the best way to use it if you have to spend a lot of time. Also, the décor is a bit outdated, but the rooms are spacious and quite clean.
I didn`t think that such a good hotel could be in Sevilla. it looks like hotel in big cities, capitals of europe countries.i really liked it very much. i liked everything in it
The breakfast buffet was superb. The bedroom very comfortable. The private terrace was great. All staff were very friendly and helpful. For some reason they cannot call a taxi to the hotel, which is something they need to sort out.
Good location, within walking distance of everywhere but quiet enough at night. Excellent views, especially from the executive rooms with balcony... and these rooms were comfortably spacious. Rooms definitelly need a tea and coffee making facilities, also would be nice to have more than 2 chairs on the balcony, especially oif you are more than 2 people staying in the hotel, it's nice to have your friends over on your balcony for a few sundowners!
Comfortable rooms of decent size, bathroom contained a nice set of toileteries. Breakfast was superb. Our room overlooked the river which is very nice in itself. However the street next to the river was a gathering spot for youth over the weekend. One evening there was loud music and partying people untill 6 AM!
The hotel staff were very helpful and the rooms well maintained. The breakfast was not available before 8 am. On Sunday.
The hotel is in a good location. The cost of breakfast is too expensive. Also, they shouldn't charge for the use of the internet.
breakfast was very nice finding your way around in the hotel
There was not one thing that was better than the whole stay. They did give us a room with a large terrace for the dog which was just great, overlooking the city of Seville.
Good central location, good facilities.
Location, helpful and friendly staff Si..no hay bar! But, in summer I expect that the open bar on the roof is beautiful (wonderful view)
Beautiful building, very close to the main sights in Sevilla. Our room was a bit too warm.
very convenient for shopping sightseeing and restaurants. Staff friendly and helpful, valet parking a bonus. Room only adequate
Really good, clean hotel with helpful staff
Very nice hotel, central location, our room was located on the top floor with a spectacular view on the cathedral.
Good breakfast buffet. Good room service. Friendly and helpful desk people.
Location of the hotel
The location and the laptop with wifi in the bedrooms. Bathroom and shower were of a high standard. I felt that we were staying at a hotel below the 4 star level which we were expecting. The room was quite small although adequate and the bed was uncomfortable. We were looking for a superior hotel and were provided with a hotel with basic facilities.
It has an excellent location near the cathedral and close to most activities and sightseeing. internet and a lap top were available in the room FOC. Staff were helpful and talk a very good English. We had a reservation for a triple room which turned to be same as the Family room (equipped with one twin bed and two deck beds). the deck bed was not that comfortable for an adult.
My stay at this hotel was very pleasant. Really enjoyed every minute of my stay. Very central and very clean. Staff was really nice and helpful. A total service with a smile. I think this would be my hotel for my future visits to Seville.
The location of the hotel was fantastic - very central but on a quiet side street. The family room with the bunk beds was a big hit with the children. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I expected some level of room service at a 4-star hotel, but there was none.
Looked forward to going back after a full day and night in Seville to relax in the comfortable room and bathroom and to having a good night's sleep in the comfortable bed. View from the room.
The location is excellent for exploring the town centre. I liked the decor of the hotel and our room was very comfortable, not big, but it certainly was big enough for our one night stay. The power shower and a comfortable bed was a big bonus after a night in the town. The hotel description should mention that the parking is very tight and with height restrictions. Otherwise it was very convenient to be able to park at the hotel.
A computer for our personal use in our room.
modern rooms, location
Professional, friendly service of staff. No tea/coffee making facilities.
Close to metro stop. Parking available next to hotel. Easy to drive to from the airport. The cafe which services the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Smoky and run-of-the-mill food.
nice lobby, decent 'cantine', good sized rooms and pleasant (if a little too cold) pool. reception staff not impressive. Not very friendly or welcoming, English not great, no mention on arrival about where anything was, breakfast served etc etc. Pool only availble for short time i morning, then again in afternoon/ evening.
The central location and availability of transport
Very friendly and helpful staff. Minor points. But closure of swimming pool during April Feria was unreasonable considering high price of hotel. Lack of coffee making facilities in room was disappointing. But generally a good place to stay.
close to the center of the city
The hotel was clean and comfortable and in an excellent position for sight seeing. I would certainly stay here again on our next visit to Seville.
very comfortable hotel and well placed, very helpful staff. Shame the leisure facilities were at an extra cost.
Staff friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed When we arrived, the front yard was strewn with garbage and chicken bones. Jacuzzi was broken.
location for sightseeing no air conditioning in room at that time of year
the buffet brekfast was very good and the personal was very polite , smart and comfortable arranged room The noice insulation was not sufficient
Location location location. Right next to the cathedral and tower. All the sites are extremely walkable. No parking, do not use your navigation to get there because you will get your car stuck. The police basically helped me get my car out and used walking path ways to get out of there and into a public parking lot. A/C was horrible, and when we went downstairs to the front desk they told us they will check it and when we came back they said it's normal. The room was way too hot for normal
Location. , staff, pool Air conditioning. Very. Minimal. Needs updating.
Situation; Very Helpful staff at desk; reasonably quiet ;International news papers in lounge; No ;
Loved the roof top pool, also the location was second to none
Excellent location!! Nothing.
Location was ideal, bur difficult to find. Hotel room was dirty. Restaurant although pretty was smelly and breakfast was so bad we walked out. Service, or acknowledgement of our presence in the reastaurant was non existent. Valet parking put dents in our car which luckily we were not charged for.
The location is excellent for visiting the Cathedral and Alcazar. The staff is very helpful . The hotel itself is very attractive and the rooms are quite spacious.
The hotel is in an excellent location being very close to the cathedral & other attractions. The staff were efficient but not at all friendly.
position of hotel We requested balconies at time of booking . Told non available only on arrival . First bedroom stank of sewerage so changed room . Second room had 2 singles instead of double and was on street level with bars at the window . The air-con did not work and nor did the mini bar so I had to have the window open all night which was very noisy and smelly as dogs were soiling the street . The next morning we changed room for the second time and it was just about satisfactory even though we still had 2 singles , no balcony and no view .
very friendly staff and very good location all ok
the location is great but everything else was tired and old-fashioned. walls were very thin - perhaps you can't do much with old palazzi
The location is perfect and not noisy despite being in the centre. I appreciated the free internet and daily newspapers available for guets in the reception area. In-room safes require keys from reception. I would like to see these replaced with the more modern electronic safes that are now widely used by hotels.
