Located in Lecce, Tenuta Monacelli is a 3-minute drive from Abbey of Santa Maria Cerrate and 10 minutes from Regional Natural Park "Woods and Marshes Rauccio". Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Event facilities at this farm stay consist of conference space and a meeting room. For a surcharge, guests may use a shuttle from the airport to the hotel (available on request) and a train station pick-up service.
Pros: Wonderful setting beautiful views across the olive groves from terrace. We stayed in green suite. Staff were welcoming ,friendly and helpful.the flowers in the room after the wedding was very thoughtful. We enjoyed watching the large wedding and party the second day from our terrace.some people may find it a bit disturbing if they wanted complete relaxation.Housekeeping excellent.liked the music at sunset a super idea .
Cons: We felt that the room was very expensive at 200 Euro a night.although spécial in an old tower this brought its Problems of occasional drain smell in bathroom.there were no tea making facilities and the coffee machine if used was charged.at breakfast extra was charged if you wanted fresh orange juice and extra if you wanted an omelette.the toiletries in the room were minimal.the luxury experience was slightly taken away by this non all inclusive feel of a quality property.we were ok but feel that it should be made very clear to visitors when booking that access to the suites in the tower are extremely steep and dark in the day. They are better lit at night as the lighting system is on.we enjoyed our stay but there seems a contradiction between a relaxing away from it all haven and very big celebrations going on right in the middle of the courtyard with all the rooms around.Guests should be prepared.I think better value would be in the standard rooms which I am sure are very nice for the facilities and level of service provided.
Pros: Wow! The staff. The room. The facilities. The location. ALL perfect, but let’s take them one at a time. The ladies in the office were so helpful! We arrived during a downpour and they met us with an umbrella and offered to help with our luggage – but we were already soaked and couldn’t see why they should have to get wet too! They were super helpful at every turn. And then there was Meena (I’m not sure of the spelling). Our waitress for breakfast, sometimes our housekeeper and catering assistant at the several events that were held at the venue during our 4-day stay. She was an absolute delight! The perfect way to start each day was seeing her smiling face for breakfast! Our room was simply sumptuous. See attached photo! The grounds, situated amid acres and acres of olive trees, are magnificent. The landscaping and the pool are superbly done. Having the use of the “living room” was a special addition. (Because of all of the old masonry in the rooms, the living room is the only place that gets wifi.) We took several day trips to nearby sites and it was always nice to “come home” in the evening. A great place to stay. Next time, we will stay longer!
Cons: We weren't impressed with the restaurant for dinner. Breakfast, tho, was great! I will review the restaurant separately because I don't think it reflects the overall rating.
Pros: This beautiful castle-farm is surrounded by acres of olive trees. Very special, very quiet . Very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast and nice dinner facilities in the restaurant of the property. Easy to visit the hot spots of Salento from here.
Pros: We loved the hotel, and will definitely return. The owners and staff were lovely, and the hotel an oasis of calm and quiet.
Cons: internet connection in rooms could be better (or maybe I should just switch off on holiday...) with the rich variety in cakes at breakfast, a gluten free cake would be welcome (that being said, the gluten free bread and cookies were very appreciated!)
Pros: The building architecture of hotel and outside spaces for relaxing
Cons: End of season for the region so nothing open
Pros: My partner and I spent 6 nights here (including my partners birthday) after we got engaged. Our whole experience at Tenuta Monacelli was excellent. The reception staff who greeted us on arrival were so friendly and welcoming and the estate is really beautiful and well maintained. The breakfast was very nice and the pool area is enormous so it never got too busy. There were two weddings on during our stay but there was no issue with noise or anything and it only made the grounds more impressive with all the lights on and decorations up. The staff really did an excellent job of making us feel special and we would love to stay here again.
Pros: the place, the staff, the silence, the nature around
Pros: Lovely pool, good dinner
Cons: Room depressing cell
Pros: Amazing hotel in the middle of the olive grove with unbelievable atmosphere. You can cut yourself from the world and totally relax. Service extremely helpful and kindest, despite our late check-in, it was not a problem. Thank you for the wonderful time. Hope to visit this place again.
Located in Lecce, Masseria Gelsi is within a 15-minute drive of Roman Amphitheater and Piazza del Duomo. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: A lovely place with very friendly people. Amazing pool!
Pros: - The service in the hotel was really friendly and helpful - the pool is nice : 4 meter on 8 more or less - more beddings would be nice and places in the shade.
Cons: We expected more from this location as we payed over €200 per night for 3 people. We spent two days here. - the room & terras: * we are travelling with a child so a private seat outside on the terras with table could have been nice. The terras was sharing with the next room, so there was not really privacy. * Duplex: we were sleeping on top in the duplex and there was no air circulation. Not so nice to sleep there. * at night it gets really dark on the grounds: there is no bar or kitchen were you can heat something or get a drink. - the garden was planted recently: in ten years the trees might have a decent size, now everything looks rather barren and dry - the area: in the area there are mostly lido's and we found it hard to find a good restaurant. We ate worst during our trip when we were there at a local Lido with an expensive name. After that we drove to San Cataldo where there are some familial local restaurants with good value. We preferred the other side of Puglia instead of this area. The sea is nice everywhere but this was not our ideal spot.
Pros: Beautiful place, lovely garden and swimming pool, stylish rooms, amazing breakfast with fresh local products, outstanding hospitality, extremely friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect

Pros: I spontaneously booked my stay in this great Masseria and was warmly welcomed by Wenche and Jan (and their dogs ;) ). You can see right away how much work and love both put into building up this place! It is very peaceful, and I enjoyed a late swim in the big pool before spending a quiet night in the very clean and comfortable rooms. The next morning, Wenche prepared an ample breakfast and both her and Jan were up for a friendly chat. I would definitely recommend spending some nights in Masseria Coccioli and might be back one day! :) I fell in love with Lecce which is only a 20 minutes' drive away (as well as the sea). See you soon Wenche and Jan, maybe in Berlin! ;)
Pros: The hosts are great, they really take care of the masseria and the comfort of its guests. It is a wonderful place.
Pros: Owned and run be a delightful Swedish couple who speak perfect English. It does not pretend to be luxurious but is comfortable and relaxed. Fantastic renovation of a Masseria (farmstead) with easy access to beach and to city of Lecce. Plenty of good eating opportunities.
Pros: the hosts Wencha & Jan were amazing so helpful, kind and welcoming. The place is beautiful & lovingly restored absolutely stunning place to stay, we loved the pool our apartment had everything you could possibly need & Wenche's breakfast was delicious with freshly made cakes every morning. We were very sad to leave but will be returning.
Cons: nothing it was perfect.
Pros: Beautiful hotel in gorgeous surrounding olive groves. The owners were very friendly and helpful, including permitting us a late check out at no extra charge so we could enjoy the facilities while we waited to leave for our flight. Breakfast was good. Rooms were pitch dark, so we got great night's sleep. Quiet and tranquil and very well decorated. We can't wait to go back.
Cons: Breakfast could have more variety/hot foods. Tea and coffee/water in rooms would be a nice extra.
Pros: Great place!
Pros: Hosts were great. The chapel was spectacular. The hosts were extremely attentive and keen to provide us with all we needed. Pool was huge. Breakfast was lovely, something homemade everyday. Great atmosphere. Box of leftovers for people to help themselves ie sun cream, shampoo etc. Dogs and cats an added bonus
Cons: Lots of flies (nothing to be done as about that) pool was big but surrounds and shower needed a sweep. Pool needed a bit of a clean. Nothing major
Pros: This was the best experience in an agri tourism ever, and we have been in many in Italy. Jan and Venche are extremely nice hosts and made sure that we feel like at home. The place is outstanding. Great building with a lot of history, fantastic pool which is perfect to swim, a lot of space for kids to play, They gave us an upgrade to a suite which they always do, if available. We definitely come back.
Cons: Everything was really perfect. If we really have to mention something then maybe fresh bread for breakfast. But generally breakfast was really good with high variety of everything.
Cons: Cleanliness of the room and the common areas

Pros: Perfect location for Torre Chianca beaches. The hosts are fantastic, generous, lovely people. Mille Grazie Anna e Salvatore ♥️
Pros: The hosts Anna and Salvatore were brilliant, they went out of their way to ensure that we had an excellent stay in their apartment. On our arrival much to our surprise Anna had prepared a fish dish for us which was excellent. Also the apartment was very comfortable with plenty of outside space to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Five minutes walk to Torre Chianca sandy beaches.
Pros: Very nice house for a relaxing days. Salvatore and Anna were great hosts.
Cons: A bit far away if you dont have a car, however Salvatore was a great host and took as to city and back when we needed to.

Elena and all the staff were excellent nothing was to much trouble really went out of there way to make it a lovely holiday. It was very relaxing and great value for money. We hope to come back next year to do it all over again. Thank You!
Pros: Staff, location, accommodation. Staff were absolutely friendly and were willing to help us in every situation
Pros: Elena and the staff could not do more for you. Very helpful and friendly Clean towels every day. Small beach across the road with small jetty into the sea, free beds and brollies. Definetlly need car. Half hour from airport .
Pros: Very good and helpful staff
Cons: Very slippery steps into shower by the pool
Pros: The woman staff were amazing, helpful and did everything from reception to window cleaning. Comfy beds and great view from the balcony. It also was the only place with an open restaurant in this quiet time in mid oct.
Cons: There was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. We were later told booking.com had been informed but had not changed the description. The shower was short lived and poor. 2 light bulbs did not work and the man greeting us was not very welcoming, nor could he spell so we he gave us the wrong internet password despite repeated questioning for the weak hotel internet signal.
Pros: Great pool, nice staff, good room.
Pros: Friendly English speaking staff. Restaurant good. Upgraded us on arrival. Free sunbeds and umbrellas provided.
Pros: The staff was amazing. Elena is a real angel. She did everything for us to feel well. The food was very good.
Cons: That there is no public transportation to get there.Exce
Pros: Location -swimming pool and beach
Pros: Nice location, good sized room with balcony and great views Price was very good
Cons: Food in the restaurant wasn’t very good. The pool wasn’t open which wasn’t advertised when I booked. I was traveling with my 7 year Grandaughter and had chosen the hotel because of the pool so that was disappointing.

Pros: Peace in the resort, like at home.very nice swimmingpools, jakuzzi, close to the beach
Cons: In the middle od nowhere,no shops,no restaurants..maybe cleaner beach
Cons: As it’s located in the middle of nowhere, you need to have a car if you want to go somewhere. You are kind of obliged to take also breakfast, which is pricy (10 Euro/person). It’s not recommended when it has been raining havely, as the way to the parking or the way from the B&B to the beach is inonded.
Pros: Amazingly friendly staff. They were super helpful and went beyond expectations to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Beautifully spacious and well designed resort. It is a large property of land, but with way less accommodation than expected. The rooms are well maintained, though our shower was blocking up, but they were quick to try and fix it. The access to the beach is only on one side of the property, but it is not that much of a walk (2-3 minutes), if you are situated on the other side of the resort.
Pros: The facilities are lovely, clean, pool is spacious, the beach has sun beds for free. Rooms are clean and nice, AC works perfectly, the room service cleans the room every day, staff is doing their best, they are very kind and smiling.
Cons: The only problem (in my opinion a huge problem) is restaurant. It is soooo overpriced for the level they offer! The level of cooking is very basic, and there are no prices written on the menu. The waitress told us 25 Euros for menu, the receptionist said 30 Euros. If you only want one meal from the menu and you ask about price, they tell you "somewhere between 10 and 20 euros". We ordered pasta and we got a meal that contained plain pasta and cold sauce without taste, I would guess it was from the can. Another chapter is breakfast. I know Italian breakfast tends to be sweet, but sorry, this is not bed and breakfast you should try harder for international clientele. No egg, no vegetables. Plus waiting for the coffee took over 20 minutes many times, although I have to say the stuff was trying to do their best, but the coffee machine is simply not a model for such size of the restaurant. There are no places to eat in surroundings, so we made a trip to Lecce (13km) every night to have a dinner. You have plenty of good places to eat over there, just have to be eager to sit into the car and drive every night.
Pros: The beach was wonderful, could walk for miles. Peaceful
Cons: Didn't feel like a resort. The restaurant was closed except for the buffet breakfast. Nothing going on, very quite. rooms are very small.
Pros: Very nice swimming pool and very close to a sandy beach. Nice big garden with a lot of places to relax.
Cons: There aren't any even small shops or restaurants in a walking distance. You need a car if you wanna buy a bottle of water or eat something.
Pros: Great location, right in front of the beach. Nice, clean swimming pools. Clean rooms. The waiters at the restaurant were super nice and friendly.
Cons: Breakfast was supposed to be until 10:30 but if you arrived after 9:30 there was basically nothing left. The selection was quite poor.
Pros: Kind and helpful staff, very nice apartment with nice sourounding of the resort. Quiet place to stay. Only small problem is a very poor WiFi connection.
Pros: The sea!
Cons: Brekfast was poor. Difficult to talk in english. Moskitos outside The room. The wiev from window is not to The sea but to The wall. Wi-fi only in reception area.
