8.8 Excellent (495 reviews)

The Sabbie d'Oro Hotel Resort is situated in Torre dei Corsari, Arbus, on the south-western coast of Sardinia. THE HOTEL AND THE ROOMS The Sabbie d'Oro Hotel Resort is the first eco-friendly hotel in the medio Campidano area of Sardinia. The hotel is surrounded by lush Mediterranean scrub, and is just 400 metres from a long white sandy beach bordered by beautiful dunes. The hotel offers guests accommodation in detatched bungalows, giving them the freedom and independence associated with a resort and the level of comfort and service associated with a hotel (a half-board restaurant, room-cleaning, changes of towels and bed linen). All the rooms have a bathroom with a shower, a TV set and a veranda with sea view.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is awesome, very quiet with beautiful sceneries and no tourism around. I highly recommend having dinner on spot, as is reasonably priced and really delicious with good wine list as well. Staff is kind and helpfull. Perfect choice if you are looking for exceptional location where you can absolutely chill. It is dog friendly - I was really afraid of it, but all dogs were kept on leash and did not harrass anyone. I was OK with it.
Cons: I liked it, but consider these facts: - not convenient: not so close to super markets, other beaches etc. - entrance to beach through “dune” is not ideal for people with limited movement - I think it´s 2* accomodation. It´s not bad, but if you expect swimming pools or touch of luxury it´s not best choice. Choise it for natural beauty & great home cuisine & nice people around.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location.
Cons: Less plastic, would be great to have olive oil from the bottle and not plastic. Would be more eco friendly.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We loved the bungalow the terrace and the spectacular view of the sea. The breakfast was good.
Cons: We really missed air conditioning , only the fan was not sufficient for Sardinian temperatures. It was extremely hot! The beach is quite far to walk down.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: There were four of us and we had two double rooms with a direct sea view. The location is a dream and also the equipment is completely in order for two stars. To enjoy the sunset from the sunbed directly in front of the room is great. You can easily get there via an off-road.
Cons: For breakfast, a little more assortment would be great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible location right on the sand dunes. Ama amazing place to stay but had bad luck as it was cloudy. The restaurant was closed but the owner delivered me a pizza. How kind!
Cons: I wish their dogs had been free to mingle with the guests.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, good wifi, lovely view, relaxing
Cons: I was hoping it’s more eco friendly than it actually is.. too many easily avoidable packaging materials are used
7.9 Good
Pros: The location is lovely - close to the sea and with a great view. Breakfast was nice.
Cons: The room smelled like something old.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of this B&B is just extraordinary: the whole complex overlooks the west coast (costa dei corsari) which gives you a view of the sunset from your veranda! You can reach the beach by foot, but it since the complex is at an elevation and about 500m away, it takes you more than just 5 minutes to get there. Walking to the beach in the soon-to-set sun was an experience itself. As long as you can go to the sea, I can totally recommend it. If the weather is bad or the sea is to cold, I wouldn't know what to undertake in the vincinty.
Cons: The wifi-signal was rather weak in the rooms, but it was still there. The Hotel offered dinner, which was good food and in with a very nice view, but it was a bit on the costly side.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice people Nice sunset
Cons: No wifi No hot water (to be more precise: one minute of hot water after ten minutes of cold water) Rooms looking like a dorm Expensive food (15 euros for pasta, water and wine) In short: disappointing
7.1 Good
Pros: Good, generous, traditional food. Beautiful location.
Cons: Rather expensive for very simple accommodation. Very long climb up to top of hill on extremely rough track.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We arranged to have dinner and breakfast and have never eaten better in our lives--roast lamb and potatoes for supper, bacon and eggs for breakfast (with every particular request accomodated). I dare anyone to eat their entire meal. Convenient for visits to Tharros, museum at Cabras, facist era Arborea, . beaches, etc.
Cons: too much beauty and too much good food--hard for any one person to absorb it all. Bring a friend!
