Expensive and noisy
Location
Noisy : with covid all the people are in the balcony until late doing party Property of the equipement: the roof top pool smell bad and the water was dirty Expensive: the rate was more expensive than the luxury hotel nearly Friendliness of the staff : a bit unpleasant and not arranging
Good
Location was great, close to beach and bars
My bed was too hard and not enough pillows. No duvet cover on the duvet. No English television channels
Very good
friendly staff big side room , everything near by beach shop restaurant .
Very good
Room was ok and very clean. Location very good. Cleaning server was very good. Breakfast was good. Nice pool.
Communication. The hotel did not tell us that we could rent towels for the pool. The hotel did not tell us that there was an elevator to go to the beach and that we could borrow a key for it. We figured that out the last day ourselves. They could promote drinking and eating round the pool to make it more comfortable.
Confortable and relaxed
Good facilities and friendly staff confortable
Overpriced and Outdated
The guests and the friendly environment.
The room. The facilities, bed, furniture, etc is outdated or broken. Everything is scratched or broken. The cleaning wasn’t always very good also. There’s no respect for COVID 19 measures so you feel quite insecure walking by the pool or the hallways. Receptionists look very unprepared (or interns). The autistic is also bad since you can hear the birds (plague) outside on the palm trees and “the action” on the rooms next to yours.
Best Gay-Hotel in the Torremolinos
The hotel is in the Centre of Gay NightLife. The building is really modern, and with many great services: Nudist Swimming Pool on top let u see the landscape. The Ritual App for mobile really great to book the Beach Club and with the community of other people in the hotel. Great place to stay! Suggested
The only thing i suggest is about the Nudist Swimming Pool: should be open 24H to have more freedom to meet people and make new friends.
Basic gay friendly hotel
Prima 3-sterren hotel, zonder franje.
Nice gay friendly adult hotel
Even in COVID-19 times a mate and I had a real nice stay in a renovated stylish hotel with nice stuff and the possibility to relax and recover as gay guys... loved it! Enjoy the infinity pool on top with the very nice stuff!!
Well Covid-19 times are hard for all of us!
The location
Amazing location, clean, amazing staff
I liked everything
Location
When you pay certain amount for a room, you expect basic services to be included - like beach towels- and here you have to pay a deposit for every single additional thing which makes it feel just tacky
Its a very nice hotel with friendly atmosphere. Facilities are very good, even if some are extra paid. I will come back. To enjoy your stay you need to accept that room looks old - then your stay will be very good. Breakfast very good. Lunch and dinner - everyday different menu - with healthy options are extremely good value for money. Main pool is great.
Not enough towels in the room. To use hotel spa you have to pay 5 EUR and still need to bring own towel. Rooms looks old with locked door to kitchenette. Only 1 pillow. Roof top pool has not enough umbrellas and extra paid big beds are not having any shadow to protect against sun.
This was my third time at the property and i will go back again. The views from the ocean front rooms are amazing
Friendly staff and great location
Location was great, the in house barber was very convenient, we loved the roof terrace and little infinity pool
The fact we were moved out for 2 days so their employees could have their annual Christmas / winter party was very annoying, we had only a weeks notice. I'd like to goback at that time of year again but will be very cautious about the timing of the holiday. The Hotel really should have known months in advance that our rooms (booked 9 months prior to this) were not going to be available
Good selection for the buffet b'fast with plenty of choices, very friendly stuff, amazing pools, very clean room and quite.
The location was really nice. The massage service was excellent.
Overall room ambiance. Everything seemed really old and run down.
Location and pool and sun deck
Bathrooms need updating
Spacious room with large balcony, Bed was very comfortable, really enjoyed waking up to the sunshine and view of the ocean.
Great location for someone who is disabilty problems very helpful towards us and friendly staff
It is a prefect hotel and I felt comfortable staying there , and all the staff are so friendly and helpful, and the location is a prefect, and easy to get round , and lovely breakfast, and you got all different type of breakfast, this my second time in less than four months, will definitely going back soon.
Great sea-views from the room, lovely to hear the sea at night. Comfortable room, includes a kettle which was useful. Good range for breakfast and good value too.
Noise from other guests carries at times.
Very good location, friendly staff.
It’s a great location close to centre square so only 5 minutes walk from station Steps take you down to beach with lots of nice bars and restaurants Great view of outside pool at breakfast Roof top sun area Indoor sauna and pool Staff all very friendly All rooms good back or at front overlooking sea
If you are thinking of staying in a hotel with your (queer) people, thats the very relaxed place to stay in Torremolinos!
Great value for money, the room had all the necessary including a magnificent view. Staff were lovely, specially Maria from the restaurant! She was incredible
lovely views, nice room, helpful staff, very dog friendly. Beach nearby although the set up in this area is that most of the buildings are staggered above the cliff/beach so you have to take steps or elevators all over town to access it. The hotel has its own shared path to the beach below, so its relatively convenient - will be one of the best in that resort but still a bit of a pain with keys and lifts and steps. Private garage downstairs was important to us. We were there off season, I'd imagine its very different in the high season. As a straight couple we were very welcomed in what is a LGBT (mostly gay) hotel in November :) Bit windy at the pool in Nov as its on a bluff, but in summer thats probably a very welcome breeze. Nice balconies.
Shower room had a curtain instead of glass shower surrounds - dark blue which meant it was very gloomy in the shower! No extractor in the bathroom.
Great location
Everything was perfect
Good location close to the beach and to the center and to the bars and restaurants. Still peaceful. We had a sea view room and I would recommend to pay for the view - it's worth it. Also you can get a key to the private elevator to the beach if you pay 20e - you'll get it back when you return the key at the end of your stay.

The staff were very helpful and nice. Especially the guy who made me coffee to take away. Please thank him and tell him he is cute ;-) The Facilities were great. I just wish I could stay longer and experience them. I will definitely return next summer when the weather is better and take advantage of all the facilities.
Nothing
The hotel is very good. Clean and good location for drinking and beach. Moreover staff are friendly. Especially the staff name is Adrian gave to me helpful information about restaurant, gay things and sightseeing in Torremolinos and Malaga. I was very happy for staying there
Not hot in the bath of spa.
Brilliant location and exclusively gay with 2 pools and gym, Sauna and beautiful sea view rooms with balcony
Could not spend more time
Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, nice showers and wash products, spa, pool area
Love this hotel. Have stayed 4 times now. Did feel a few things needed a bit of attention such as the flaking paint and mould growth in spa.
A very well kept hotel, very clean place and out room, great view and nice facilities and friendly staff...
The big pool wasn't heated or lit up at night so it was quit a chilly swim, some of the hot breakfast wasn't that hot and the evening food selection had the same problem, the cooked food was just the same unfortunately.
Location and facilities
Frequent customers receive no benefits
Everything is just fine and very friendly staff
- Balcony with sea view - Room size
Great location - close to gay bars and clubs. Also some very good restaurants very close ( recommend Calendula and Ibiza Style). Great views over the beach - a bit of a walk down, but location still great
Nothing - all good
Great staff
Stayed in the ritual hotel in early October. My fifth stay at this hotel. Without doubt this is one of the most enjoyable, welcoming and classy hotels in Spain. The staff are amazing, nothing is a problem for them and if they can help they will. From cleaning staff, restaurant staff to the brilliant staff at reception. Just simply amazing, and they just go out of there way to improve your stay. The hotel itself is spotless, the rooms are so roomy and comfortable. You’d sleep for days in the beds. And the location couldn’t be better. Close to all local amenities, bars, beaches and restaurants. I honestly cannot find any faults with this hotel. And cannot recommend the hotel ritual enough. If your in torremolinos, this is the only hotel to stay in.
Nothing. This hotel has everything you will need. Be it a short break,or a longer holiday in the sun. The hotel ritual is the only place to stay in torremolinos.
Over all nice hotel ,
Breckfast poor
What i like about the hotel was thats its a gayhotel you can just be you the facilities where good swimmingpool on dek dowstairs etc
Did not have breakfast in the hotel but a friend had lunch one day and said it was the worse meal of his whole holiday
The bars were closed as it was October and to get a drink by the pool we had to search for a member of staff to get one.
This hotel lived well up to expectation in almost all respects. The staff were lovely and worked well as individuals and part of the team. The tree lined location was excellent for the Nogalera bars and the beach and felt safe when walking back later on a nights as it was situated next to the police station . Our sea view room was well worth the extra payment as we looked on to the lower pool and beach in front We paid a deposit and had a key and fob for the community lift up and down to the beach situated close to the rear of the hotel accessed via a gate and coming out next El Gateau (great menu of the day 10.50E for 3 courses ) and Eden Beach Club which was very useful. The rooftop pool was a great place to hang out and make new friends. Its bar was open most days and staff were good fun and efficient, the drinks were reasonably priced, 3.50E for a large beer wine 2.50E etc. The Health Spa facilities on the lower ground floor were excellent and only 2E for guests before 4pm, 5E after. Spotlessly clean and relaxing. Cool drinks always freely available in the comfortable entrance area.
Although there was a hair salon and shop in the reception area and a small pool bar outside, there was unusually no central inside bar to meet up downstairs before or after dinner and for guests staying room only this was a miss. However this did not spoil our stay but it felt lacking. As the season was ending the full buffet service was not available in the restaurant and the limited 13 E approx evening meal very disappointing so we only tried it once and chose to eat out as there was so much choice and better food elsewhere. After reading other reviews which praised the food during the main season this was a minus and other guests agreed.
Good breakfast. For Adults only read 100% LGBT but hetero friendly. No problem for me at all and added to its charm but may be tricky for less open minded people, especially the naked only pool.
Nothing,it was fine.
Great sea view room, was amazing to sleep with balcony door open and hear the waves. Lovely pool and the spa was fantastic. Brilliant location for town and the gay bars. Excellent value for money and the staff were mega friendly. Already booked twice more!!
Can't think of a thing!
Staff professional. Very clean. Lovely atmosphere.
Unforeseen circumstances I was unable to avail of a previous week I had booked and lost full amount I had paid. Felt a token of some sort...would have been appreciated.
Very friendly staff, great sea views, firm mattress, tasty food, close proximity to train station
The staff were friendly and professional. Nice barbers shop. The location is great.
Terrible breakfast. No understanding of good coffee, bacon etc. The bedroom had a boarded up kitchenette. Grape seeds, nail clipping and dust on the bedroom floor. Mould and dark stains in the shower. Unpleasant toiletries. Tacky interior design. Really bad taste and out of date design. Low quality everything.
Everything.
We like the location of the hotel. With a sea view room, you really get an incredible view on the sea. Also the ability to use spa and train station is only 10 min away
The hotel was conveniently located. Staff were friendly and efficient. The room was bright and clean.
The wi-fi was awful - needed to stand on the balcony to get reception. The small kitchen has no cutlery or dishes. The loungers at the pool are filthy.
Perfect place for me and my partner to relax and enjoy the weather, escape from reality of work Great location, easy access to beach, less then 5 minutes away We love Torremolinos and Ritual. We’ll be back for sure!!
Plastic seats on the balcony in our room could have been more comfortable
Excellent hotel. Staff first rate. Facilities were excellent too. Breakfast very good, plenty of choice Nice and peaceful too.
Nothing
Relaxing, friendly, clean and great food.
Loved everything
Its very well located within the gay district, and it offers fun amenities like swimming pool on ground floor and naked only pool on roof top if you enjoy that. It also offers room for even a single shy person to make friends and have fun!
It requieres a deposit for everything. A 10 euro deposit to use the iron for two hours, 10 euros deposit to use a beach towel and 1 euro to change it for a new one, a 20 euro deposit to have a quick beach access key. I guess I understand the reasoning behind it, but its very annoying nonetheless.
The staff is very friendly. Only a few minutes from the beach and with a great swimming pool :-) A massive thank you to the personal trainer Osc for the sessions in the gym.
The property was clean, had very nice staff, a great roof top pool.
Let’s not be silly, if you find something you don’t like your not on this planet.
Location really good and a comfortable room. Nice bed with air con and a safe.
Nice hotel, very friendly staff. Also facilities for dogs (like a special dog spa!!)
Lovely staff and amazing guests
Great location with good access to the beach. The hotel is very clean and well looked after. Very helpful and friendly staff. I was allowed to use spa and swimming pool after the check out which was much appreciated. Nice barber shop inside the hotel and a great haircut from the barber. I'll be back for sure.
Staff are so helpful and friendly. Rooms are spotless. Beds very comfortable great location.
The buffet breakfast isnt great and not hot enough. The evening buffet is nice enough but again needs to be hotter
The best gay hotel in Europe - tremendous atmosphere. All very friendly.
Some rooms are much better than others.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpfully from the minute you enter the hotel to the minute you leave. Every part of the hotel is extremely clean always staff around cleaning, lobby, lifts, stairs etc As a solo traveller I would highly recommend it
I think the restaurant food menu is a little over priced for what it is but still good food
Everything staff super helpful and friendly Hotel has everything you need and beautiful Location excellent
Nothing
Our second stay @ Ritual. We love. Perfect location overlooking the beach. 2 great pools. We also enjoyed drinking and swimming at nearby Eden Beach Club by Ritual. Staff always helpful and friendly. Perfect breakfast till 11 am. Clubs, bars and Restaurants round the corner! Top! Thank you all @ Ritual!
Awesome place! Great swimming pool area... loved it! (It was my second time at this hotel)
Can’t think of anything
Lovely clean room comfy bed. Staff very friendly.
Good location. Great facilities - gym a little basic but spa lovely and rooftop pool very cool. Staff friendly and helpful. Everything worked very efficiently. Room comfortable with odd additions of bathroom scales(!) a bit of a kitchen - although weirdly no crockery or cutlery to go with it. Maybe in August it is full of beautiful young Spaniards like their adverts show, but by mid September it was largely middle aged north Europeans - although plenty who were up for a good time as if they were 20 years younger. Overall our stay exceeded expectations on just about everything.
Location Staff Accommodation Roof top pool Sauna first class
Nothing
Friendly and helpful staff
Looks much better on the pictures than in reality, our room smelled like smoke although it was non-smoking, you have to pay on top for spa, keys for the way to the beach
It's our third time in Ritual Hotel. Every year we like to end thd Summer season by visiting torremolinos. If it is not because of the hotel we will never go there. Its a very nice hotel, its an experience. We spend the last day in the pool after we checked out with no extra cost. We will be back next year again ❤️ Thank for all the staff!!
Nothing! All was perfect
Great hotel, very colorful and modern. Just few minutes away from the beach also, where there have their own resort. Room was quite big and even the bathroom was comfortable. It also has great views of the sea. At night the hotel lights up in a rainbow colour which it was beatiful. Very close to restaurant and clubs.
Nice looking hotel with very friendly and helpful staff (definitely the best). Breakfast is good and rooms are spacious and most of them have a sea view. Very well located at walking distance from the beach as well as the town centre and rail station (easy to get to Malaga). Also, great pool area.
Bathtub didn't drain well at all, and panel blocking water spillages was not too big, hence the bathroom floor could easily turn into a pool. For the money paid this should not happen. Mattress was way too firm, top of the scale, and this is not the most comfortable.
The location was fabulous for us, access to excellent restaurants, bars and clubs.
Lighting in the room we had wasn't very good for applying makeup, but that is only a little gripe.
location, personel was very kind, nice atmosphere
price which was much too high for the conditions they give
Great location and views. Very clean and lovely spa. Breakfast was good
Needing to pay for Balinese beds by jacuzzi
Location was good - rooftop naked pool was ok
Felt ripped off constantly - initially booked standard room - facilities poor and twin beds put together - then booked superior double room for remaining three nights only to find it was the exact same room with the same facilities despite paying €70 more - complained and wax told all had been superior rooms but our friends superior room had much more space and better facilities I.e coffee maker and proper double bed - also had to pay for sun loungers on beach from hotel, sauna entrance in hotel, clean beach towels etc - seemed you had to pay extra for everything and when u did you weren’t gauranteed any extra service
Sun loungers were very uncomfortable, and dirty. Pool rules are very strict.
Pool area lovely. Spa lovely. Rooms lovely. Reception staff & housekeeping so helpful and pleasant.
Ok, 1st time we have been to Torremolinos. Reception, spa & housekeeping staff were lovely however the younger guys who run the roof top pool & the main pool are rude, & so far up their own backsides!! If you had a six pack & looked gorgeous then you could do what you like. One day when lying at the main pool the pool barman came over to us & told us off for bringing a bottle of water round the pool, we explained i hadn't been well & was dehydrated, wasn't interested, ignored us & stormed off. 1 hour later 2 very handsome men sit in front of us & bring out a full bottle of coke & 2 plastic cups, he came over kissed them both & said nothing to them re bringing their own coke. The same happened on the roof terrace, this time our party of 4 had been at beach & had 3 bags of crisps left +1 can of Pepsi. He marched over & said you cannot eat & drink that up hear, needles to say we ignored him & carried on. Again other guys were eating large tubs of pringles which they told us they purchased from local shop! There is no consistency with these guys & there rules. Two very rude men who need customer service training. Because of them we wont stay at your hotel again.
Excellent location. Access to the beach via elevator ( €20 Deposit for key ). Short walk to centre. Mini market, Cafés & Restaurants nearby. Modern appearance. Nice pool. Enjoyed the Spa ( €5 ). Beach towels €10 Deposit. Iron €10 Deposit. Clean rooms. Safe in room. Kettle. Small fridge ( minibar, but room for water / ice box ). Air conditioning plus plenty of ventilation. Quiet. Good buffet breakfast, tho we only had it once. Cafe across road was cheaper and suited us better.
While we enjoyed the location etc, I would advise that this is very much a Gay hotel and feels more like a "lifestyle' or theme hotel. The reception area feels like an entrance to a spa and clients regularly walk around in bathing suits going from pool to spa etc. It has a barbers and a Gay clothes shop. The spa itself in the basement and infinity pool / nudist area on the 9th floor are very male gay areas. We are a gay couple ourselves, but did not feel like we fitted in so we avoided the pool and dining areas. This is probably because most gay venues in the world cater for a young, thin, body conscious, and generally extremely unfriendly clientele. We prefer to be with real people. Ritual is obviously a large gay themed enterprise and this is very much evident here. The small kitchen area had a kettle and some mugs / glasses, but this area was never cleaned. We did them ourselves. We had hoped for a better sea view as we booked a superior double room. We over looked the pool with a side view. We spent no time on the balcony as it was too close to the pool area and did not feel private, and we didn't want to sit watching people sunbathing.
Spa facilities are good and location of hotel is good.
Constant pumping music around the pool area. Clearly this hotel is suited to the under 35 age group. Too much meanlingless "music" played throughout the hotel. What's wrong with some peace and quiet?
The hotel has a very nice pool area for a chill with a bar and good music during the day. Walking distance to the beach. Gay Eden Beach Club is a great spot to chill.
That our stay couldn’t have been longer;-)
Excellent location, very friendly staff, especially at reception and also the bars. Special thanks to Juan Carlos and rooftop bar, great attitude and very good drinks. Convenient to walk everywhere. We were lucky and always found parking outside the hotel , which was free of charge. Breakfast was sufficient and worth the money.
We requested a linen change mid week (we stayed a week) and it never happened until we actually removed all our linen and they were forced to do so. We also asked for an extra towel, they would have charged 10 Euro per towel??? Understand for the beach towels but for regular ones...
Hotel was fine, food was passable...just. Breakfast was a fairly small selection..eggs very overdone all the time..slimey bacon....but it did the job. A point to note is the fact that the hotel allows day pass visitors in very high number to use the hotels nude sun deck, pool and the like....as a result it was always very difficult to get use of these areas where you would hope a resident should have no problem, and I say that in light of the high price tag we paid for our stay. I enjoyed my stay but owuld I return, am not so sure.
Far too many day pass visitors using the hotel faculties....seriously resticting access for paying guests. Food needs improved.
Lovely atmosphere
Excelkent lovely staff and a great place to stay gay or straight
good breakfast buffet, large well-maintained pool, great spa, good location, friendly staff
you had to put a cash deposit for almost everything, from beach gate key to pool towels. changing a soiled pool towel for a clean one costs money. the lighting in the bathroom is terrible.
Location is the best possible, close to the beach (you have stairs and a free lift to the beach) and night life. Everything you may need is at walking distance. Spacious room Very good breakfast
The WC was too dark, mainly in bath. The hotel need to improve this... The toiletries could be better
Great location, friendly staff, convenient car parking, excellent facilities. Overall good value for money.
Beds are a bit hard.
the location was super convenient and close to the beach
the rooms are tiny. the bathroom is normal size but the shower is angled on a corner and super awkward to shower in.
Great view over sea with good comfortable and very big beds. Easy access to the gay beach (with card key) . Very gay hotel.
Shower could be updated ( lost control of shower and complete soaked whole bathroom) WiFi very slow. No English channels on television ( not that we watched that much)
Location was great. Had a very large room with a superb sea view.
Reception staff lovely
Not enough sunbeds
Hotel with a lot of service inside, restaurant, pools... a sort of little village where you can stay all the day. I had a room sea side, it was large , clean and very comfortable.
Nothing
The only positive thing is the cleaning staff. And the position.
People talk, scream and sing in the night from the terrance. Nobody tells nothing. Even if I asked reception to advice the guests of disturbing. It’s a giant Luna park, nothing more. Just lights & easy fun. There are not enough bed in the swimming pool or on the the roof for every guests.. because for others you have to pay. Unacceptable for a non-cheap hotel. The water in the swimming-pool is dirty. Really dirty. Imagine why... bleah! Never ever more!
The location, the pool, the room and THE WIEW. Helpfull staff when i forgot my IPad and had to go back from AirPort
Nothing
Great service, attention to detail, hotel parties, staff went above and beyond to accomodate and help guests.
We enjoyed everything, except our superdry towels got nicked by the pool.
Everything
Nothing
