the swimming pool the noise in the room during the night; the absence of the staff
The chivalrous rescue by vespa when we were lost! The wonderful welcome by the owners and their gifts on departure. We had a truly relaxed time here, there has been alot of thought put into making it a special place to stay.
Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Just a shame about the road noise from the motorway. You cannot see it, but you can hear it.
Great pool, awesome garden, excellent breakfast, nice staff. A bit noisy beacuse of the highway but the rooms are insulated so it doesn't bother while sleeping.
Pretty little hotel in nice setting. It is unfortunately too close to the highway. Otherwise no complaints.
Lovely setting with owners who made us very welcome. The pool is excellent with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Although you need a car to get into town(otherwise you have a steep walk back uphill) there is one good pizzeria within walking distance None
October 2010 weather was not great however the Villa was comfortable.
The grounds were really fantastic in that there were dozens of flowering trees and plants everywhere. It smelled of flowers. Also, the pool was really nice and the views were outstanding. They had little english speaking capabilities but were helpful anyway. Other than that, it was great for this American visitor.
The family/staff were very friendly. The breakfasts were just great! Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The propery is up a the edge of the city, yet close enough to town and other roads up to the mountain towns. Internet availability was sparse and a little pricey. The internet point was available only when there was someone there to unlock it and turn it on.
The staff was very welcoming. Bianca gave us an excellent suggestion for a good restaurant for dinner. The beach front location was unbeatable, close to the heart of the resort, but not too crowded. mediorcre breakfast, self service vending machine-style cappuccino
Good location. Close to the beach. Huge parking Bed & NO Breakfast. Friendly, but very relaxed staff.
The hotel owner offered loads of itinerary suggestions and was very friendly. There was a bar (drinks were surprisingly cheap) and the hotel had a pleasant veranda overlooking the sea. The room was a little dated but was clean and spacious and had a lovely sea view. It was located a little out of the centre, although as the resort is quite sprawling it was difficult to know exactly where the centre was.
The proximity to the sea No beach service is given, no free chairs, or umbrellas or beach towels etc
On the beach, freindly people Long way fromthe town
It is "at least" on the beach and has a car park opposite. We didnt pay for beach beds but were not told if we should do so or if they were free We stayed in 5 hotels in Sicily (July 09) and this certainly was the worst and not even the cheapest. True drinks may be reasonably priced but you have to plead for a glass or some ice.
The hotel was fine and the staff very nice and helpful and we had a good evening meal. We would have liked to be a little nearer the town but that was not the fault of the hotel.
The staff and owner are very helpfull and friendly, they also helped plan or booked day trips out for us, the food served in the restaurant was great, the rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily
The beach location was excellent. The balcony overlooking the Mediterranean was great. On site ammenities could be upgraded.
