Lovely big room, with a very comfortable bed. The staff were outstanding, couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Excellent skills with Google translate made communicating easy. The town itself is beautiful and the private onsen at the Ryokan was great. Fantastic traditional Japanese breakfast and we chose to have dinner on one night which was a feast of crab, beautifully prepared.

A little expensive.

We booked the option „room selected at checkin“ and got a room in the third floor facing the street. We were very happy with the room and the bed was very comfy. The room was one of the largest we got on our japan trip. Beside the hotel yukata you can additionally select another yukata in a beautiful japanese design to your own liking. In the afternoon you are able to use the small inhouse bath as private bath. There are two styles of bath, roman and japanese style. Of course you receive the onsen pass to enter all public bathes in Kinosaki. The breakfast is serve in japanese style with many different things to taste. The hosts are very kind and helpful. Even if their english is very basic they are used to communicate with international guests (with google translation). Therefore the communication was no issue. We liked the accomodation, would stay again and would highly recommend.
