the location the bar was closed all the time
Spacious, comfortable, good location, good breakfast hotel at value for money price. Only street parking available, hard to find most times. Very small swimming pool (strongly advertised).
The hotel is located well, on the main road and the rooms are big enough for a single or couple. The breakfast is too simple, and should be improved. There was no Wi-Fi at the rooms.
The staff of the hotel was excellent ,the room was clean and tidy, the athmosphere was . Not applicable
The restaurant tirol, that is located at the ground floor of the hotel. Very good food and good prices. My impression:too much 4 stars for such a hotel...3 is too much also...just because is big???..No.. a small swimming pool, the room and bathroom's finishes way to old for a 4 star Hotel. The accomodation rate is too high comparing it to the actual status of the hotel.
The swimming pool and Jacuzzi, the location Outdated for a 4star, no Wifi in room, shower over bath is not what you expect for a 4star hotel, therefore we would classify this only as a 3 star.
it's a good location near the center, it was very good hotel and the stuff are ok. in a few words very ok everything. thanks a lot. yes, the spa center very beautiful but the pool very very small for this hotel full..
The rooms are very nice. Centrally located and great value for the money
nothing............. It was a nightmare, a bad experience ,missing things from room, very dark, uncomfortable, mannager not available to talk to, to forget asap this experience..........try not to ruin your reputation on suggesting this hotel to other people.........
They have free access to fitness, spa, pool, even though we didn't have time to go there. The rooms are clean. The location on the hotel is very close to center of the town. The room service is good. There were too many people staying there.
The personel is discret, yhe hotel is quiet, everything is ok, the rooms are big
Good size of room, spotless clean.I was impressed with the floor heating in the bathroom. What I liked most were the aquariums in different places of the hotel (unfortunately not in my room). Personnel have opened sauna and swimming pool promptly, although my request was made later in the evening. In reality they do not have the facility for customers to use credit cards at all.
The weather :-) The room heating was very poor. Lucky for us the weather got warmer the second day.
The hotel was clean and the room very spacious, pleasing and comfortable. The serve an excellent breakfast bufet with a huge selection of foods, one of the best I've experienced until now. WiFi signal was too weak and had to chase it acround the room.
the view from the room, the comfort the pool is too small, the breakfast is quite simple for a 5 stars hotel
Quiet and relaxing area. Nice hotel staff. Food none
Clean, comfortable, elegant, nice views We were very dissapointed with the restaurant (the main reason we chose this hotel). The food was way below average, absolutely nothing to do with what they advertise on their website (haute cuisine, Italian chef, etc). Also outrageous prices vs quality.
the room was fantastic no
new hotel, very good attitude from staff, helpful and willing to please. lacks an outdoor pool for summertime
One of the best hotels I have stayed at. They let us check in at 9am, without even being asked, which after a sleepless 10 hours on the night train was fantastic. Everything was as advertised, everything was clean and everything worked. The staff were highly professional, and provided service I rarely get at 3 star hotels in the west, let alone out here in the depths of Romania. My first 10/10 rating on bookings.com... I think. Great views too. And a perfect central location next to the cable cars. The only thing I would have complained about was the lack of toilet roll - only one with not many sheets. But when I asked for another at the front desk, they put in a call and it was replaced before I got back to my room!
Nothing in particular The hotel is not what you expect for a 4 stars one. Bed matrixes were old or poor quality (not smooth), shower gel was insufficient for 2 persons, a nice large balcony but empty, without anything to seat on. Breakfast not so good, as well.
We were very pleased with everything about this hotel.
very good highly recommended no
It's being in the center of Town . It's spacious room -nice terrase-spacious bathroom.
All amenities, robe, slippers, minibar, breakfast buffet, english speaking staff, heated room, updated bathrooms. pink/peach color of the room
Hotel staff were friendly and it was in a good location within walking distance of the attractions within Sinaia
Located centrally and quite close to the train station The breakfast is not at the same level of the rest (above all about sweet things like croissants, cookies, etc.).
A charming place, quiet and clean, in which attention was paid to every detail. Breakfast was rich and varied, and the smell of the bedroom and in common areas of the villa impresses with freshness. Congratulations!
First of all the staff was wonderful. Top quality rooms, very spacious and comfortable. Made me feel at home. The view of the mountains was great. Near historic sites, shopping overall great location. A little difficult to find at first but with a little help from friendly neighbors all problems were solved. They do have GPS coordinates but I left mine at home. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
Not cheap at all, but worth every cent: exemplary cleaning, very rich and diverse breakfast, high comfort, silence, a beautiful garden and wonderful owners. A boutique hotel in the true sense of words.
I was pleasantly surprised by the personnel behavior, the quality of the accommodation and (not at last) the food. The location is gorgeous, almost in the forest, you can enjoy the silence, the view of the beautiful mountains and the unexpected friendship of a fox who is a frequent visitor of the hotel. The hotel is well located for those who intend to visit the museums and palaces in the neighborhood (Sinaia, Brasov, Bran) but also is the ideal place for a relaxing evening after the sightseeing.
A beautiful place, the Boutique Hotel is immaculate, tastefully furnished, with attention to detail. Our hosts looked after our every need, breakfast and dinner were superb. Look no further, for your ideal place when visiting Romania.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The managing couple demonstrated outstanding hospitality and professionalism at all times.Congratulations to Mrs.Elena and Mr.Florin.Gulen HashmiPlease write at least 15 words
The hotel was located exaclty on the edge of a magnificent forest. The vila we stayed it had central heating, lots of space, two TVs, DVD, satelite TV, dedicated DSL line, DVD, home cinema, kitchen facilities, chairs that give you a massage while you watch the forest, the works! The staff was friendly and very competent. We had a huge, home made breakfast delivered on demand at our vila every morning! We were even given a GPS with maps of the area so we could get around. The whole experience was wonderful and very memorable. Just make sure you have an SUV or at least a tall car, because the roads near the hotel are rather bad.
the food in restaurant The swimming pool is not larger than a bathtub!!
The staff was very nice, friendly and the rooms very clean. Peles Castle is very near, the surroundings are amazing ! the swimming pool and sauna were open, its a perfect place for relaxation ! everything was nice !
The hotel is new and uses high tech and high quality furnishings. Balconies afford beautiful views of the mountains. Parking space is ample and easily accesable. Definitely a nice place to spend a night or two. The rooms are very small. The matresses are not confortable as the srpings can be felt when lying down. No air conditioning, but the air with the open doors is fresh and cool enough making air conidtioning a lesser necessity. The breakfast is of good quality and service is excellent. You are provided a voucher and you order from a: a-la-carte menu. If you run over the 42 RON for 2 people, you pay the difference.
The hotel is in conveniant walking distance to gondola, Peles Castle and train station. The room and bathroom were comfortable.
I liked the cleanliness. I booked this hotel only because it stated on the webpage that the 2 apartments have and I quote "large bathtubs". However when we got there we soon learned that there was no bathtub in any of the rooms. So they are lying in their presentation. Also after we learned this we wanted to switch the apartment for a cheaper room since there was no sense in staying there. We changed the room but they made us pay the same price. Also it's not quite normal for a 4 star hotel to charge every slice of tomato at breakfast and to weigh every bite you take.
The swimming pool and spa facilities were very good and the hotel was overall a pleasant experience. There are some minor problems, which while small can be annoying. For example, no one had removed a birds' nest on our balcony and the elevator doors ping all night and can be heard from every room.
We liked very much the hotel wich is very stilish. The hotel staf was very polite. We enjoyed also the pool. I did not like the bathroom, because it was extremely small. The bed and the pillows were not very comfortable.
Restaurant was good. Too much marble and concrete for a mountain hotel. The matress was not of good quality.
As usual... I appreciated the courtesy of the staff, the accomodation, the terrace with many flowers and small waterfalls, all atmosphere and dreamlike landscape this time, the swimming conditions were not great, I mean water temperature in the pool and jaccuzzi
The hotel staff was very knowledgeable about the area and provided useful sightseeing information. It has very modern conveniences including a computerized shower that needs an instruction manual! The room was very comfortable.
closeness to the Peles Castle, excellent food, very clean, location.
intimacy, relaxing atmosphere
This hotel and the staff are top notch! The staff were exceedingly helpful and went beyond expectations. e.g.: my son's luggage did not arrive in Bucharest. We had a phone number there to on the luggage. The woman at the reservation desk continued to call the number to check on the status of our luggage -- helped us avoid long distance phone charges. An easy walk to Peles castle and to town.
The room floor was heated too- it was snowing outside and very warn in the room
Nice newly restored building in the middle of a forest They charged city tax and a suplementary rescue tax, even if it was included in the room price. One must stay away from their catering . Service in the restaurant is horribly slow and inadequate. They refused to serve us lunch on the first day because everyone was busy serving a table of just a dozen persons, so we had to walk a steep road for about 15 minutes to another place.
Proximity to The Palaces and castles
It is next door to the castle which was beautiful. Very comfortable bed. Good breakfast.
Great location and fantastic renovation work!! For meat lovers, a visit to the nearby "Cutitul d'argint" restaurant (same administration) is a must. Arriving after 10 pm no possibility to drink, eat, etc at the hotel.
The location of the hotel was excellent. We seemed to be the only guests there and there were no services available other than limited restaurant hours. We were not told to put our toilet paper in the trash can. Our toilet clogged.
