Not too far from civilization,ie restaurants, shops. Breakfast is fine. the bathroom is ridiculously small, especially shower cubical, almost had to stand still. Balcony is too messy and dirty. No fridge.
It is very beautiful Hotel. Staff is careful. Delicious food.
quiet, clean, good location, friendly staff a little imperfection is the breakfast: too simple
Big modern 6 storey building in excellent location with very good staff. Our reasonable sized 5th floor room had extensive views over the beach, coast and Adriatic sea. Their restaurant produced good quality food at a reasonable price and breakfast was very good. Overall very good value for money. The bathroom was small and the shower tiny.
Very helpful staff, good location the shower stall in the bathroom was way too small
Good location, the room is too small but with a private balcony , so I can enjoy a beautiful sight of the sea! reception is friendly and services are helpful.
Excellent location within short walk of the centre of Pesaro No double beds in the hotel, just two metal framed singles pushed together, with a thin mattress, uncomfortable and hard
Leaking toilet, broken toilet seat and restaurant food very basic and poor. Had to wait 50 minutes for someone to move their car before we could leave.
I had a room on the top floor with a balcony and wonderful views of the sea and hills. The dinner was good value. The shower cubicle was very small
Very nice location. Comfortable and clean.
Close to the beach The hotel was very noisy as the rooms had very poor insulation from each other and from outside in the street.
Calm area in af very good location right at the seaside. Very nice to have access to bikes in a good condition. Helpfull personal. The breakfast is bad. Especially with thin slices of only one type of tasteless cheese and a poor selection of meat. No eggs. The fruits were definately not fresh and in a very bad condition. Please improve the breakfast. Introduce Italian Food Quality !!!!!!!
Beach location. Swimming pool shared with another hotel.
The hotel is in a perfect location no busy road to cross to get to the seafront. Well placed in just about the middle of the resort. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Rooms a good size as was bathroom with a good shower but looked a little bit dated could do with fresher looking decor and bedding.
small shower. cold pool.
very well situated hotel on the promenade with good size swimming pool and friendly staff breakfast a little disappointing with chemical fruitjuice from machine, rather dry bread but lots of cakes
Location was great, the food at the resraurant was excellent and our room was very clean and comfortable with a nice view.
Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful as usual. Room had a great view over the promenade and sea. Free wireless very helpful. Good cakes at breakfast. Bed/mattress was not confortable as in previous stays.
The location was great, and they have a huge pool. Plenty to do for children. The reception staff were very offhand- like they were doing us a favour. The main person on reception/owner? was like a female Basil Fawlty-very monosyllabic, like it was all a huge effort! She never attempted to be cheerful, unlike the bar and pool staff, who were very friendly. It was a problem to get the air conditioning switched on- the other young female receptionist was also very offhand! Breakfast was basic. The room was a good size, but you need to be slim to fit into the shower! Despite booking a month in advance, we got a corner room with a smaller balcony than the others, so the sea view was restricted. However, they did supply a hanging dryer for washing on the balcony. There is also a garage, which was useful. One thing to note-room keys are easily accessible to guests, not even kept behind the reception desk, and our passports were just left in our cubbyhole, where anyone could have taken them-not good security!! As a result, we never left our key when we went out.
Position, pool, bathroom, breakfast by the pool
Very clean, very modern, nice and rich breakfast, directly on the beach and very good price. A bit noisy in the corridor in the morning even so we had a room on 5th floor.
A fantastic position (just overlooking the sea), wonderful value, a very easy and relaxed atmosphere. We thoroughly recommend this hotel.
Location, program for children, breakfast was ok, bikes for free Staff's service attitude was poor in all respects. In addition, we first got a room without air conditioning and without balcony although the description said that "most rooms have a spacious balcony". We had to change room twice during our stay with a small child. Large pool was shared with another hotel and there were a lot of people in there.
Awesome place with great views, prime location and a friendly staff.
the swimming pool is very small
We booked a suit at 50%discount on Booking.com. When we arrived they had upgraded us to give us a sea view as requested and we were put in the premier suit in the hotel. Our thanks to Booking.com and vip Hotels Italia for a fabulous three nights.
Good position (centre of the city, 50 m from the sea), kind staff If you get a special price, it is ok. If you pay the full price, it is not the best choice, taking into consideration the relationship quality/price. Good breakfast, but expensive (11,00 €). Under the expectations room service and furniture.
Hotel location. Safe car parking. Hotel staff were very professional and smartly dressed If hotel swiming pool is impoprtant to you then you will be dissapointed. The pool area which was situated on the second floor side roof area and was really a cheap construction which was mostly in the shade. The hotel was what you might describe as very old fashioned and in serious need of renovation. The ensuite bathroom consisted of a shower in the bath which does not fit modern hotel standards. There was no air extractor fan in the bathroom which again is neccessary in a windowless bathroom. We enjoyed our stay but this cannot truelly be classified as a 4 star hotel.
Thanks to your writing exactly what we were paying for( suite, jacuzzi, balcony, sea view...nothing was part of our room so after bringing out the paper the hotel moved us at the same fee to their superior hotel which was all these things and very pleasant! Lots
excellent friendly staff, good room with plenty of space -
The rooms, or at lest the room I had, and the overview of the entire hotel aren't those expected for a four stars hotel. May be some year ago, not now
Very friendly staff.
Excellent locatiion. Staff friendly and helpful. Bathroom abit tight. Beds not especially comfortable.
The location. This hotel is more like a youth hostel and not worthy of three stars. Very noisey at night. Breakfast very basic. Poor staff attitude.
the hotel was fantastic with very helpful staff and facilitys were as expected. would not hesitate to stay their again.
pool was great, friendly staff willing to help, very nice hotel and kid-friendly
the beach was only a few steps away from the hotel the beach was so close we were lucky we could stay on it all day because the weather was fab but if the weather was not good there was not 1 thing to do in the hotel, no entertainment and no english channels on the tv and you couldnt go shopping unless you rented a car as pesaro closed most of the day you would have to drive to somewhere else for something to do
almost nothing Almost 3/4 of hotel was like a youth hostel with 4 kids in every fairly large room, together about 110 kids! And that for 130e in 1st July week!
Access to internet, breakfast, bicycles, clean room Booked the room that is on the right side when facing the main entrance of the hotel. Every second day bar across the street had a party that continued well after midnight with loud noise and screams. Requested king size bed - was not provided.
location. the breakfast was very poor.
near to the beach
All was good
The quality of the room and the breakfasts and its central position for the sea and the centre.
nice staff and clean old structure; air conditioning not included; room quite noisy
nice to have 2 adjoining rooms; bathroom quite large; friendly staff; really liked being able to use their bicycles; beach towels provided; good breakfast; good location by beach (but need to take taxi from train station)
Not hotel's fault, but arrived in the middle of a huge fiera. Couldn't get to the parking. Nightmare trying to get my 80 year old mother to the hotel, and no help with luggage up large entryway staircase. Took over 1 3/4 hrs to find parking more thasn a mile away as the police wouldn't let me near the hotel. Some advance warning would have been helpful!
The politeness and the service were really most excellent
Clipper is a nice, well managed hotel located next to the beach. The rooms are simple but functional, clean and all supplied with a ceiling fan. The hotel staff is very service oriented and friendly. However, the location - 100 meters from the beach - was the absolute best with the stay. We can highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are not soundproof! You hear noice from other rooms as well as from the at times quite busy traffic outside. If you are sound sensitive we recommend that you bring some earplugs. We did and slept very well.
For a 4 star Hotel, no coffee maker in room and no room service
Good location, hotel well designed. Slighly outdated furniture in room
I had a comfortable room, nice bathroom, and the ladies in the reception desk were very helpful. I stayed just one night, so I do not have to say more. But I think that during summer, it is in privileged situation as it is just in front of the sea and if you have room in high floors there will be a very nice view.
great room -an upgrade to sea view with balcony
The Hotel had its own car parking The room was very smalll and the AC was controlled from the reception
extremely comfortable hotel. highly recommended.
This hotel is in an excellent location, right on the beach front. We had a very nice room with a lounge area and bedroom. We also made use of the excellent outside gardens/terrace/pool area. we understand that we had a very good deal which was obviously due to all the renovation work going on outside which did not bother us.
I found the staff very friendly and they went out of their way to please. The evening meal is excellent and the buffet salad and other courses are of the highest quality. I have two issues which I would like to address. Firstly, I thought the wi-fi was very expensive at €13 for 24 hrs or €8 for just one hour. I guess I am used to staying at budget accomodation where this is usually provided for free. I found it very difficult to find any internet cafe's in Pesaro, and had to give in and pay the fees. Also, the staff told me I could plug in my laptop to the network connection downstairs for free but this did not work and although technical help was promised it never materialised. Finally, I was surprised that parking, at €10 per day, was not included in the price of the accomodation as we were paying quite high rates for our rooms. It is very very hard to find parking along the seafront but I was compelled to search until I found a space as I was not prepared to pay out any more money to the Hotel. I dont want to put people off the hotel as I enjoyed my stay there, but I felt I was being squeezed price wise on extras that come as standard in many other establishments.
The location of this hotel witin the small town of Fano is ideal as it is only a short walk (200 mts) to the start of the old town centre. It also overlooks the small river which runs through the town which provides a relaxing and tranquil setting. Generally the small team of staff were very helpful and spoke good English. The reception staff, in particular, of Francesca and Michaela were very helpful is arranging our pickup (at a cost) as well as a hired car. I would definitely recommend this hotel when travelling to Fano. No.
The hotel is very picturesque and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
The staff were friendly and the service were good. The dinner served by the hotel was also good quality. The only thing they need to improve is the wireless network and I was unable to connect up.
The stay was very courteous and accommodating. Enjoyed my patio enterance and view. I did think it was going to be a bit more remote than just off the main road and was dissappointed that I could hear the highway noise. The nose of cars and trucks passing on the highway.
The staff at the reception This is not a 4 star hotel - stay here only if you have very young children. There were so many crying babies it was hard to sleep. Also - there is no pool and all of the people slam their doors at any time of the day.
Friendly staff, good service, good location. Room 102 uncomfortably hot, had to turn off radi- ators and open windows. No int'l TV channels.
Breakfast The website said private parking was available, so when I booked on 4 May I requested private parking. When we arrived, on the afternoon of 21 Aug, the receptionist said no parking was available; she was rude and unhelpful.
friendly receptionist-lady far away from 4*-classification, charmless old-fashion furnishing needs urgently complete renovation
close to the sea everything was old, uncomfortrable bed, the night shift staff could not speak english at all, and he was quite rude.
Location The shower is too small. The shower basin was approximately 50cm by 50cm. This is too small.
The staff were incredible, particularly Andrea and Roberto - but everyone was helpful and personable. The diner was excellent value for money. Pool small but good. Price for garage was higher than what shows on Booking.com but they honoured the lower price. The hotel has pretensions above its station; it is formal and austere. The breakfast buffet is a paltry affair for the price. The internet is free but only works sporadically. Services are available but not advertised and must be asked for. Its location at the end of Via Trieste makes it a bit of a walk (1 km) from Centro.
Loved the location and the clean fresh feel of the place. I was given the wrong key twice and had to change rooms after already entering and using a room. A double bed was requested and was in the first room we were given and we were moved to a room with two single beds.
The stuff was frienldy, it was no problem to change the room. Good breakfast. Tip: Fridays they have a great fish-buffet (22 EUR/person inkl. wine) reservation necessary. It's usefull to make a room preselection, because some rooms are not everyone's taste. We will return!
A small but very beautifull and refreshing swimming-pool. Straight at the beach. Nice originally designed rooms. Clean impression because of the white interior. The breakfast is good and very complete but the breakfast-organization (especially cleaning tables and refilling goods) is terrible. Typically Italian: a lot of fuz getting things done and very inefficient handling. That lowers the price/quality-level a lot.
the art and the comfort the breakfast could have been the same during the "breakfast time".One hour before end many things did'n excist anymore and they didn't fill it up.The wire less internet had low connection in the logbby and no at all in the room and that you have to pay extra for
Cool lobby, restaurant area, outdoor seating. Great venue for those interested in art. Amount of artwork/painting in bedrooms was excessive
Food and the pool. Decoration not to mention!!!
On the beach. Private parking (10€/day). The room was small and 'cold', the bathroom even smaller. The furniture in the room is one of the poorest I ever seen. The promissed art environment is rather disappointing (I would say too naive). Wifi was rather slow (2,5€/day).
We upgraded to a sea view room. The art room decorations were very interesting. The location was excellent right on a lovely beach. The breakfast was very good.
I liked using the bicycles and having such a wonderful beach location. Good breakfast! The pool was closed, and we did not know that ahead of time. My dinner was mediocre, at best.
The staff on Reception were always friendly and accomodating. The man serving the breakfasts was particularly helpful, and attentive.
Friendly staff and generous Breakfast. Room was adequate and had a nice balcony and view of the sea and the promenade. Looked a bit jaded, as if in need of a bit of renovation. Air conditioning in the rooms did not work well (although appeared to work fine in the corridors) and finally broke down at the weekend before we left so could not be fixed. Spent a very uncomfortably hot final night. Outside of bathroom window had obviously not been cleaned for years and yet we had to open this window to get any air into to room.
we found the staff helpful and professional, the breakfast was well above average. everything else was very satisfactory. a minor annoyance was the location at the crossroad of three well trafficked roads, which allowed some road noise into our room.
We had a wonderful stay. The staff were great and extremely hospitable. The location is excellent for the old city and only ten minutes to the sandy beach This was our first trip to Fano and will return. The new Touscany. Parking is on the street
Relax, walking to the beach, waiting for next flight They hadn´t internet but helped us to another hotel who had internet
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food excellent. As the food was so good I wish the restaurant had been open every night but it was closed for the Brodetto (local fish speciality) festival as the staff were serving at the waterfront. When we were there, the loose carpet on the polished stairs could have caused an accident but it has probably been fixed by now.
Staff were very helpful and kind
a/c good; beds comfortable; breakfast good
I loved this hotel because of its atmosphere and people working there. They are very nice and helpful. We stayed there for one week. It ic located next to a street but it is not too noisy. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach which is not a problem at all. The beaches 10 minutes away are free and not crowded. Breakfast was nice, although I hoped to get some vegetables. Still, a choice of fruit and sweets is good. Coffee is excellent. The bathroom could be a bit bigger. The shower is v.narrow and the toilet was a bit of surprise. Still, I am a very demanding customer and I recommend this hotel.
Close to nice and sunny Fano beach, just under 5 minutes walking. Room was big enough for a confortable stay. A bit far from train station, a bit tricky to find.
Breakfast was great for an Italian hotel and for the price. The Staff were really friendly and even booked a hotel for me on the next part of our trip. We used Hotel De La Ville as a base to explore the Marche area and were delighted to find a very cheap bus up the road to go to Urbino for only a few euros and spend a breath taking day there. It's a nice hotel for a base - 10 minutes walk to the sea, to the port with fun restaurants... We really enjoyed it here. Very basic rooms but that's all you need when you are out all day. No
Very nice clean hotel, we were given a room on the 6th floor with a balcony and sea view, nice little town The towels in the bathroom were like linen tea towels but I can see that this is possibly to stop people taking them on to the beach, again though not a good breakfast.
Clean, simple, no frills and typically Italian hotel - great location by the sea ! I couldn't fault it.
Proximity to the beach, centre and value for money.
Close to the beach, breakfast good, staff very friendly and helpful Not much parking available at hotel
The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The room was clean and comfortable. It was further than I expected from the train station to the hotel. I suggest a taxi.
The staff, very friendly and helpful. Rooms have been recently refurbished. 20 meters from the beach. Free parking (you have to leave the keys at the reception). Since rooms have been recently renovated, now there is a contrast with other parts (reception, bathrooms) that are in good conditions but not nice-looking.
The room was a very comfortable size and generally quite a comfortable hotel.
