Pleasantness of the Patron and his staff Mistakes made in billing but these were corrected after notifiying them
The staff at the hotel were very friendly and extremely helpful, going out of their way to help answer our questions. The breakfast was good and the room was very clean and well maintained. The hotel was handy for the train station and easy to travel into town from.
The staff were what made the hotel special, they were very welcoming
Everything was clean with working internet access. Very close to the old city, which is well worth a visit. Very quiet and rather oppressive atmosphere in the communal areas. Could have done with a radio on somewhere.
The staff were all very helpful end their command of English was much better than our French. The quality of the food in the Restaurant was superb, very enjoyable. The room was very comfortable. Highly recommended.
Convenient location, walking distance from bus and train, also town centre. Comfortable room, very charming hostess.
the hotel was near the train station and there was had an internal court yard for sitting.
it was a quiet place breakfast was too poor
Very comfortable, easy to find, very friendly and helpful staff. While an extra charge, the breakfast was ample and plentiful--not as some earlier reviews had characterized as sparse and overprice. Perhaps that feedback caused an upgrade in quality!
Good welcome, car parking, good place to break a trip, lovely old city on the doorstep
It is convenient for the historic old town of Vannes, as well as the shops and harbour front.
Good location near old town, friendly staff, overall price to value ok building post modern from 70ies as the rooms, garage difficult to use for unexperienced drivers
safe and secure under ground parking.excellent very helpful staff no
Our triple room was very spacious, clean and comfortable.
We liked the location the room the car park and the support of the staff
Excellent location and staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast was satisfactory. A refreshment tray in the room would have been good, as there are no refresment facilities provided within the hotel whatsoever.
Very spacious room with large bathroom. Just 2 minutes walk from the old town and shops. Cheap available parking next to the hotel.
Staff pleasant, central location Breakfast lacked variety for the cost but what there was was good. Garage parking very expensive
Centrally located and convenient - generally good value for the room rate. Breakfast charge too high - we ate elsewhere. Car parking charges also quite high and we could not access the car park because our top box was too high to fit in the underground car park. It would help if the hotel advertised that there is a maximum hight limit as a secure car parking facility was one of our reasons for choosing this hotel.
The warm welcome and the excellent handling of our calls to the hotel plus car park, essential for security as we were returning to Ireland from France and did not wish to unpack the car. So that was most helpful. No
The room was very comfortabe. However, the hotel was unable to provide a meal in the restaurant and could not provide room service despite offering a 24/7 service.
Very clean new hotel Did not read request for twin bedded room so only double available as full.
new hotel,5mins walk from historic part of town, hotel has a underground car park, staff excellent,
Very good position. Standard room:big bed but little space for luggage
Hotel is located on edge of old town, within easy walking distance.
Very convenient location near Vannes Centre. Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful. Had dinner there and food was excellent. No complimentary toiletries (information sheet says they are available at reception on request)
The staff were excellent, if you requested anything it was there immediately. Good position, not far from restaurants and the old port.
Close to the city centre. The room was confortable. The staff was not friendly at all, they were rude and indolent.Really unpleasant experience for us.We will no return to this hotel.
The duplex rooms are fantastically spacious and good value for families
Staff very helpful and friendly, good room and other facilities, our room had a balcony. Hotel close to the old town, but far enough out to avoid any night-time noise etc. Free parking in car park directly opposite. A bit difficult to find, but partly because we drove through half of Vannes to get there. But don't let that put you off - just make sure you get a decent map off the web in advance. Hotel is signposted once you get closer. Not the cheapest - but you definitely get what you pay for.
The room was very comfortable it has a king size bed plus two beds for my children and a real working air condition. The bathroom in my room required an urgent renovation (all the other room facilities were in good condition and overcome this problem)
Quiet and comfortable
the buffet breakfast!!
Business + Nature walk NO
Quiet hotel close to the harbour and the sea I am a fitness freak and there is no workout facility.
Ideally located for going on a boat trip to one of the Islands. 20 minute walk along the river to the old town, which is beautiful.
The staffs are friendly and helpful, and the environment is comfort and clean, and the breakfast is quite good too. The hotel is not easy to locate, especially the name showing outside the hotel is a bit confused (it seems there is another hotel in the same location). Except this, some of the stuffs (i.e. towels and etc) in the rooms seemed insufficient - only provided 1 set instead of 2 sets in a twwin room.
excellent parking arrangements for our motorobikes, the hotel was quiet ensuring a good night's sleep and good breakfasts
Everything! The signage still listed the old hotel. We were walking from the train station and the temporary sign was on the other side of the building. Thankfully somebody came out because it looked like we were looking for this hotel and informed us it was the correct one!
Location near the city of Vannes. The towels in the bathroom.
The hotel was astop off point on our way home to UK.It was easy to find and very relaxed-breakfast was included which made a pleasant change. Staff were very friendly and helpful, hotel clean and quiet.
close proximity to town centre. easy walking distance to all amenities having to pay for parking access to parking...
Everything. Friendly staff, excellent breakfasts, clean and comfortable room. Very quiet. For my purpose, it was ideal. No complaints.
All staff were exceptionally helpful and spoke good English. The dining room provided good value meals of high quality,
proximity to the old town
facility for safekeeping of our bicycles.2 minutes from Hotel de Ville and petite marche restaurant which was lovely as was Moen Thai restaurant and the greek one in the side street. we were refused a drink at 2245 despite the fact that closing was 2300 and a member of staff was on duty.
Good dinner. Welcoming staff. A bit of a drag to go from Lancelot to Roi Arthur for booking in or out, for meals and all facilities.
We were a group of 7 cyclist and the hotel was by the green cycle way from St Malo and we were going to La Baulle It was just in the right place and there were rooms for 3-5 people We enjoyed the evening meal.
The location is magical, right on the beach yet close to the beautiful city of Vannes. The room was quite small and stuffy.
Location was absolutely stunning, particularly with the view over the waterfront from our twin room. We were allocated what was obviously a smoking room which was unpleasant, but bearable. I honestly do not remember seeing a tick-box on the web-site for smoking/non-smoking and this might, therefore, be my fault for not stipulating non-smoking, or the web-site may need to make this choice more obviously visible.
The hotel services are excellent .But mosty the sense of village.
The location was very peaceful and the views were idyllic. see comment on menu
we stay just to sleep ,but the view was very nice and everithing was ok nothing
Superb location, very quiet and not far from town center of vannes which is superb.
the location close to Vannes, while in a very attractive surrounding small bath, small toilet
The position of the hotel in Conleau, south of Vannes, is superb. The staff on Reception were very helpful and the Breakfast Buffet was extensive and appetising. The menu in both the restaurant and the 'Cafe' was not to our taste. It was very 'Fruits de Mers' orientated with very few meat options (some offal dishes, again not to our taste ).
The size of the room was very good, not a shoe box as is often the case. Room was quite shabby but nothing that a coat of paint etc could not fix.
Comfortable and quiet Not enough windows in room and too much light outside
Nice position on the edge of Vannes, excellent size room with all the amenities. Very good value for money.
The restaurant was accessible, the staff were pleasant and helpful and the food was enjoyable
very comfortable. No
secure parking Info on web page should say that it takes 20 mins or more to walk into centre of Vannes
Greatly appreciated the competence and friendliness of the Reception staff and the comfort and equipment of the room (in the annexe) The quality of the food in the hotel brasserie was mediocre
Friendliness & helpfulness of staff. Dinner in the hotel restaurant - the Brasserie Bleu - was of very high quality. There was a varied menu and the cooking produced exquisite tastes such as one expects only in gourmet restaurants. Which says a lot for a 2* hotel. The room lacked a chest of drawers and lockers and instead had shelves which were less than satisfactory. There was a very faint hint of mustiness in the wardrobe but no visible evidence of dampness which might account for it. There was a very basic level of comfort in the room but then one shouldn't expect much more in a 2* hotel.
Good hotel and the room was large and very clean, if a little dark. Staff were very helpful. It is a fairly long walk into Vannes centre.
A modern style hotel with good parking facilities. The room was clean, comfortably furnished with a well fitted bathroom - no bath but an excellent, walk-in shower. In the morning a very adequate buffet breakfast with a good selection was offered. We were very pleased with the overall standard and value for money.
the hotel rooms were very clean and comfortable.it was very good for one night stop. there is no facility for families since rooms do not have connected doors. for young childs it is not recomnded. also, breakfast is not incuded in room price. no reduced rate for childrens.
clean and tidy, easy to find, excellant staff, good food for breakfast and evening meal for this level of hotel
Excellent rapport qualité/prix - Très bon accueil - propreté irréprochable, pas de bruit et petit déjeuner très satisfaisant.
The room and the bathroom were cleaned There is only one towel for person, every day. The room was too small
The onsite restaurent The Ibis wifi was unuseably weak so had to buy the Orange alternative and felt a bit cheated as free wifi was one of Ibis' staples.
The close proximity to Vannes was good, both for shopping and sightseeing.Ibis hotels are very good value for money. No complaint about the hotel itself but the directions for getting to it could be better, especially from the centre of Vannes.
Ibis staff was always very helpful.
Nice, friendly attitude , comfortable if you have a car. Located just outside the highway.
ease of access staff unfriendly, lacking in social skills, arrogant and dismissive with clients
Wifi and close to Morbihan; Locmariaquer, Gavrinis, Carnac and Vannes. Good hotel clean and cheap.
access and easy to understand the system shower faciities far to small
Quiet and comfortable, although not easy to find. The Camponile restaurant, next door was excellent.
the price The toilet-shower room is indecent small. As in the aircraft.
This is the perfect hotel and location to visit Vannes which is beautiful city, the lady at the front desk was wonderful and helpful and the room was very clean and pretty spacious, brilliant location for the train station and just 3 minutes walk to the centre:)
It's true you have no noise at all and you're still right in front of the train station (convenient when no car) and 10 minutes away from the town centre. The room was a bit small but it's ok to sleep and have a shower and it was the cheapest hotel i could find in Vannes.
Staff were extremely helpful about locations of various points and services
Spacious room, very clean.
The hotel is opposite the railway station but the double glazing and shutters keep it quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful.Comfortable beds and clean rooms.
Clean fairly spacious room with good toilet/shower facilities.
Practical location near railway station - I just wanted to be there in the morning There is some noise from the street in front of the hotel - ok with windows closed
It was very much a travellers hotel - reps, passing business men...not really for holiday travellers. No tea/coffee making facilities at all. Charming and friendly owner. Extremely noisy all night - I should have taken in that it was on the railway station and on a roundabout! Metal shutters helped keep out noise - but fan would have been helpful as then very hot! Breakfast very plain - tiny croisant each, corn flakes no choice cereal + bread. Beds comfortable, room adequate - good ensuite bathroom.
very friendly , helpfull ,service excellent
Exactly as described/advertised on the booking.com website and on the hotel's own website
very comfortable and well equiped suite.
Excellent facility for holidays. The terrace is very nice. There is a refrigarator in the "kitchen" to keep the champagne cold.
The staff were very helpful, the apartment was clean and convenient.
We felt the residency was modern and clean and its proximity to the hotel was good for restaurant facilities if required We feel that an inclusive price of cleaning would be advantageous as a control on cleaning can more easily be maintained. Poor signage on arrival from main thorofare I missed it and had to do a detour to return.
Very large apartment in a good location with all facilities available.
Balcony was advertised but we had great terrace - very quiet at back of the building. Good parking and good security. The Best Western is next door and has a good restaurant. Since it is a "residence" and not an actual hotel there was no soap so we had to buy some!
