Pros: The neatness
Cons: It was all good!
Pros: The property was conveniently located for all amenities. It had off road parking, good self catering facilities and was comfortable. A good choice for a visit to Trienta y Tres.
Cons: Nothing really, except the walls are quite thin. So as we had load neighbours the sound carried into our unit. We may have just been unlucky.
Pros: The host family was warm & welcoming. The owner was one of very few encounters we've had with an English-speaker in the entire country of Uruguay.

Pros: The staff was professional and friendly. The simple room was clean and modern, and included an air conditioner, desk, and refrigerator. The towels and sheets were fresh, the shower water was hot--nothing disappointed. The toast and coffee in the morning was nice. the hotel is on a street that is is not scenic, however it is very close to the main street with stores, shops, and restaurants. I will stay here again next time I am in Treinta y Tres.
Pros: Very nice staff, quiet place
Cons: Basic hotel, price was not accordingly.
Pros: A new, clean property with owners on site. The rooms are simple but very functional with air conditioning. Our refrigerator worked part of the time but the kind staff brought us ice etc. when it did not. The bed was comfortable and there is great secured parking on site. We were allowed to borrow some dish ware and use the tables in the lounge for our dinner snacks as many restaurants were closed.
Cons: The neighborhood was about 8 blocks from the town center, but only a 5-10 minute walk. We would have loved to have some eggs at breakfast but did appreciate having toast, coffee and tea.
Pros: Room was comfy. We had a comfortable stay. Playing Billiards with friends was awesome
Cons: The location of the hotel, its difficult to idetify. Boardings should have been arranged
Pros: Place was very clean. Staff was serviceable and friendly. Good parking. Quiet place.
Cons: Breakfast was a little bit on the basic side

Pros: Great location, close to the Quebrada entrance - good breakfast, nice walking trails round the house to a fabulous hill for watching the sunset or experience the sunrise. All was clean, beds were comfortable. Nice animals, dogs, cats, horses and chicken.
Cons: Regulation of the water temperature was quite difficult and we had the choice between icecold and hot, so that you could boil eggs. I didn't expect warm water at this location (without power during the day) and think it would better to offer only a cold shower instead of a not correct working shower, that is quite dangerous with its heat, which is only to regulate out of the hut. Also there were lots of broken glass and glass The e location is absolutely beautiful, in the middle of nature, but just few kilometres from Tacuarembo - and just a 15 min drive from the awesome Valle Eden. People are extremely helpful, supported us a lot, when we had a damage at our car, gave a call to the mechanics - thanks again so much! Also the animals on the farm are great, five lovely and lively dogs, you always have fun with! Breakfast was very good and despite there is no aircon, it was not too hot during the night, because the Posada lies on a hill and there was always wind. A great stay for all, who love nature and animals!bottles on the premise and on the parking, which is dangerous not only for car tires, but also for the animals, like the cats and dogs there. The small room and bathroom could be equipped with some hooks on the wall to hang up things like towels, clothing etc. WiFi was not working at all during our two-day-stay.
Pros: It had great views and is inside the National Park. Anna Maria, the host, is good for local knowledge.
Cons: The room was quite expensive as the room was for 4 persons. We did get a few breakfast, though.
Cons: Hopefully they can add solar and wind to replace the generator.
Pros: Very peaceful location close to the Quebrada, which we visited the morning after we arrived. The staff made us welcome and took extra care to ensure that we had quiet accommodation after a long drive. Dinner and good wine available in the restaurant.
Cons: A crucial sign at a crossroads was missing, making it quite difficult to find the place! We were told it had blown down in a storm - it should be replaced as soon as possible.
Pros: Just 3km from the quebrada entrance. Nice location but simple (cabin).small river close by.
Cons: Electricity only when hosts are there during limited time, torches most helpful. Be aware that there is no aircon.

Pros: Staff amazing,Pablo is really Nice and thé riding walk is fantastic.the Sky in thé night and thé asado worth thé travel
Cons: Quite dirty and really too expensive
Pros: The area is markedly more authentic Uruguayan than Punta del Este or Colonia. The owner can provide a lift to the property from the Treinta Y Tres and back. He also cooked very tasty food and had an option of hours riding.
Cons: Not that I didn't like it, just the comfort is rather basic.
Pros: Nice location. Relatively close from 33 city and the sanctuary. Pablo and Ronaldo were excelente hosts. Pablo is a great gaucho and knows all about horses We watched the sundown and then the moon for hours. As Ronaldo said, it’s like watching the discovery channel (for free, lol)
Pros: Location, coziness, host, nature
Cons: Shared bathroom, but we knew this before
Pros: Wow - what can I even say?! We had the most incredible stay at Canada del Brujo. Ronaldo and Pablo were so accommodating and friendly from beginning to end - although they don't speak any English so that is something to be aware of if you're visiting - you need some Spanish! The 2 person room was comfortable but small. We stayed for only one night and wish we'd stayed for two. The stars and sunsets were incredible and it was so peaceful just being there! We went on a 3hr horse riding trek with Pablo which was thoroughly enjoyable and a great way to see the area. The horses are really gentle - even for beginners. The location was our favourite in all of Uruguay and absolutely worth the 4-5 hour journey - A must if you want to see 'The real Uruguay' and feel like you've gone back in time. Life here is like living in olden times where travel by horse is your only option and life is simple. The food prepared for us was delicious and vegetarian options were provided. Be aware there is very minimal phone signal and no wifi here (which we found to be bliss!). There are no people around (again bliss!). The hikes are beautiful. It's very peaceful and relaxing. The roads up to the accommodation are dirt roads but not too bad - we managed in a small Fiat rental car. Bring cash (as obviously card is not accepted). The closest ATM/Cash machine is in Treinta Y Tres (about a 40 min drive from the accommodation).
Cons: Nothing. It was perfect!
Pros: Pablo is a great person. The accommodation is simple and in the middle of nowhere surrounded by nature. If you are looking for nature and its simplicity, this is the place to go. The lack of comfort will be compensated by thousands of stars at night, perfect nature and a great host. Pablo offers also horse riding and will give you all tips you need for a trip to the waterfalls. Gracias Pablo!
