Restaurant and amenity tray in room
The hotel is quiet, and it has a good parking space. It is also very good to be able to eat dinner in the same hotel you live in. The staff is helpful, and nice. That there are no rooms for smokers!! Which I have understood more guests than me an my friend are finding annoying. Especially, since we who has staid in the hotel for many years remeber that it used to be better before. This is the only reason why we try to find an alternative hotel.
Staff were extremely friendly. The heater was on in the room when we walked in. It felt more welcoming. Everything was clean and tidy. We couldn`t turn the heater off!
1. The hotel has a good restaurant. 2. Safe parking of the car. All rooms are non-smoking rooms. Which I understood annoyed several guests, my colluege and myself included. This was not the case the first time I stayed on the hotel. I'd suggest they make it possible to book rooms for smokers.
Easy driving access to channel ports
The location is very good, if you visit these parts of France. Good parking space. The hotell has a restaurant, which is a practical thing. The staff is service-minded and nice. The lack of rooms for smokers! This is so bad, that we must find a better hotell to stay in.
It has to be the bed - very comfortable. And yes the air-con a double bonus during the summer months. We weren't keen on the TV in the eating area but do understand that this is a 'French' thing.
All the staff were very friendly & it was very clean. Nothing to dislike.
The room was clean, and a decent size Dinner was expensive, service was slow, the waiter was impatient when we asked questions, even though the restaurant was not busy.
Friendliness nad helpfulness of staff.
It was a budget hotel the rooms were basic but clean & was adequate for a one night stay Rooms did not seem to be allocated before arrival & we didnt get the room we had asked for
the hotel was perfect for an over night stop in France. we were tired and the staff were friendly and helpful,we had a good evening meal in Dreux and the room was very clean and quiet.
basic, but clean, but a bit short of space. however, it was good value for an overnight stop. there was only 1 large and one medium towel for the 2 of us
non smoking room smelled of cigarettes. Shower did not function well.
Easy to find except that if you use google for the Brive Hotel it sends you completely the wrong way. We much prefered the Chartres Marmotte. The lack of a restaurant and in the case of Dreux the distance to the Campanile which was very busy with its own clients anmd we gave up waiting.
room dirty, sheet not big enough for bed, sink stained
We needed a hotel that accepted pets, but won't overnight in Dreux again There are better Premier Classe hotels, and the sister Campanile up the road had a terrible restaurant
Not applicable Only problem we had was that they only had one room reserved for us instead of the 3 requested on the booking, luckily we arrived when there were staff there and they had enough rooms to accomadate us otherwise it could have been a disaster as we were 2 families travelling together
Cost, friendly staff, availability of room for disabled Bedding, though cleaan, was worn and ragged
You have retained 100 euros deposit from our prepaid debit card in addition to the total payment made at the time. After nearly 3 weeks, we are still waiting for this to be refunded. This has placed us in a difficult financial situation and we have received no explanation from you.
Premiere Classe hah!, there was abosolutely nothing premier about it, stayed at better hostels. It was dirty, well, filthy, toilet had no flush and leaked all night, noisy, i feel it was used by prostitutes, as they were the sounds we were subjected to. left very early hours after no sleep.
The reception and breakfast area were nice and clean and pleasant. The breakfast was also good value and well presented. The bedding was clean and fresh and the bed comfotable. Parking was easy. Wi fi is a nice free addition. The room I had needed decoration. Very tired looking and the bathroom needed modernisation. Plastic sink burnt by cigarettes and a shower head that you had to hold because there was no bracket to fix it to the wall. The shower space is very small. I do wonder if any of the Premier Hotel rooms ever get decorated or do they just demolish the Hotel after several years and build again.
yes very busy!
The owner looked after us extremely well and was cheerful, enthusiastic and most helpful. The owner has thought of the little details that make you comfortable. A lot of excellent local information was made available to us, as well as useful recommendations. The warning about the steepness of the stairs is appropriate.
Friendly owner (& dog) good breakfast and excellent rooms with a lounge with tea & coffee making facilities which yu rarely find in any continental hotels or B&Bs. Handy for Paris, Chartres and historic sites.
We only stayed over night onour way south.
Very friendly and welcoming host. Nice quiet location with clean and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast and lovely restaurant within a couple of miles. Would recommend.
Very friendly and homely feel. The proprietor gave a very personal service, the accommodation was very clean and comfortable and breakfast in the morning was delightful.
The friendly welcome
Clean and comfortable and the b & b is in a very quiet area.. Nothing
Starting with a very warm and friendly welcome, to secure parking, nicely furnished rooms and a very good breakfast.
Quality of the room .peaceful situation n/a
The setting is quiet and peaceful. The owner (Ms. Simon) speaks English, and she is very friendly and helpful. There is secure parking. The village of Chandelles is a few kilometers from Maintenon, which has a very good restaurant (ask Ms. Simon for the name), several cafes and boulangeries, and a chateau that is worth visiting; Chandelles is also close to Chartres and Paris. There was nothing we did not like--it was excellent.
Large grounds. We picniced outside our room in the sunshine. No food the night we stayed. No food the two separate nights we stayed. Local eating places were closed, but we managed. See above, the second time we stayed we picniced with supplies fron a nearby supermarket.
Quiet, good car parking, room clean, good breakfast (purely French, but that is fine) We chose that hotel because it had a restaurant. It turned out that short stay residents take second priority. The person at the desk was quite unapologetic in telling me that it was totally booked. He could think of only one restaurant in the town (driving distance) and that was closed. We had to drive elsewhere. So it was a very unsatisfactory stay for one overnight in the middle of a journey. The trouble with booking on booking.com is that one doesn't get the chance to check that things like the restaurant are really going to be avaiable.
Helpful staff - booked our table at restaurant in town. More motel than hotel - no evening meals - room felt slightly damp - charged extra for breakfast
In a residential area with plenty of easy parking. Nice people. Most people staying seemed to be traveling workers. Great as a cost effective, easy stop over. Cost balance is correct. Room was not big and could use a little update but the bathroom was brand new and very functional.
Quiet, very comfortable and clean. Pleasant, English speaking staff. Friendly dog! Potholes in the drive!
The owner and his wife were very helpful, and helped our party of eight to book a restaurant on a Saturday evening. Would stay there again.
