8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room and good breakfast
Cons: Village location had nowhere to eat dinner. We had to drive 10km for an average meal
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Service was excellent, fantastic breakfast, very nice facilities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Edith, the owner, was charming and cooked us a great dinner including champagne. Breakfast also excellent.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great host, large comfortable room and bed, great breakfast, clean, well stocked honesty bar.
Cons: Not much. Decor a little twee for our tastes but that’s being really picky and of course it’s on trend.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place in a quiet area, very close to vineyards. Clean and chic room, big bathroom. The bed mattress and the pillows were very comfortable. Madam Edith is a very nice host and she prepared for us a romantic dinner (ordered 2 days in advance) with a bottle of Champagne included at a reasonable price. We were very happy that we could buy some bottles of Champagne from a local producer (the family is a Champagne producer as well). The breakfast was good with fresh cooked eggs, fruits, croissants and "pains au chocolat", a lot of "confitures", etc.
Cons: The smell from the kitchen came to our room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the lady is very kind ! she cooked dinner for my husband and i which was very good! for breakfast you have everything you need, no remarks! well done and thank you for your kind hospitality
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful find, off the beaten track but very handily placed for a visit to Reims or even more so for a visit to the Champagne growers in the area. Lovely rooms and a fantastic breakfast spread.
Cons: Unfortunately we were there in the heatwave and the room was exceptionally hot with no AC, however, the host did everything she could to make the room more comfortable
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place. Nice people. Good breakfast.
Cons: We had trouble locating the address as it was down a little alley. We had to travel 11 km to get to a restaurant. We had expected to eat in Verzy itself. The restaurant we ate in was excellent! It was Le Bouzy Rouge, in Bouzy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fantastic guest house, a warm welcome, lovely room beautifully decorated. Excellent attention to detail. Superb breakfast. The owners produce their own Champagne so bought a case (no obligation to buy). A real gem in the heart of Champagne country. Thank you.
Cons: Would have liked to stay longer
7.5 Good
Pros: Room was uniquely decorated, in a fairly modern manner. It was very clean and the bathroom area was very reasonable sized and was equipped with toiletries, which is very useful for a short stay. There was a kettle to make hot drinks although only teas - it would be nice to also have the option of coffee. The lady who runs it was friendly and welcoming and had brilliant English and so we were able to communicate despite our minimal French. The breakfast was the best of our trip. There was a brilliant selection with freshly cooked eggs, breads, ham, cheese, fruit, yoghurt and mueslis. The highlight though had to be the array of homemade jams and the tasty Nutella spread, to accompany the fresh pastries!
Cons: It was in a small village and the local restaurant was shut for a summer break, so it was a little drive to anywhere to eat (as mentioned in other reviews). Good options 10 or so minutes away though! Central to the Champagne region and if you want to explore the offerings then perhaps perfectly located, however as it is in the town centre there are no views. The bed was a little uncomfortable and our room (the top one) felt fairly small in size, perhaps due to the sloping ceiling. No big issue for a short trip though.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostess is so very sweet and helpful. The breakfast was very nice with local products. It's nice and quiet but close to everything :)!
Cons: Everything was perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We felt welcomed despite causing rather headache to the owners with our late arrival and 2 a bit wild children, spending only 1 night there on the way to South. Room very clean, simple yummy breakfast, comfortable beds and no hassle with check out. We had really relaxing short stay. And children loved it too, especially with a big summer fair in close by Zig Zag Park.
Cons: There is nothing not to like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house and nicely decorated rooms. Very nice hosts, they cared for everything we needed. It's possible to bring your own dinner. Since we didn't bring something and wanted a small dinner for the family, Joy ordered tasty pizza for us. Breakfast was fine, too. Flowery court with view to the old church where we could dwell and chill out from long driving. Lovely hideout and peaceful stop on our way to Normandy. Thank you!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, quiet and free parking.
Cons: Breakfast could be better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! A beautifully decorated French Chateau, friendly hosts, a pool, a bar in the cellar, a large garden, just perfect, we had the evening meal and breakfast which I would recommend. Perfect!
Cons: I wish I could live here!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Delightfully fresh selection of croissants, bread etc and no less than six homemade jams. Excellent coffee.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location not too far from Reims, Joy the owner was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were modern and in a lovely quiet courtyard. If we are in the area again we would certainly stay here.
Cons: Nothung
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Joy was very forthcoming and friendly. The room was well-appointed and spacious. The breakfast was good and served at one long table, which gave a family atmosphere. The location is rural: it is a working farm in a small village, so going out for a meal requires a little driving, but that was no problem for us. There is plenty of garden furniture on which one can sit in sun and shade in a garden corner of the farmyard.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was perfect.
Cons: NTR
Clos Du Mont Rouge - Bouzy - Building
3
9.5 Excellent (51 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Clos du Mont Rouge in Bouzy, you'll be a 1-minute walk from Montagne de Reims Regional Natural Park and 7 minutes by foot from Champagne Arnaud Moreau. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful stay overlooking the Champagne vineyards. Our host could not have been more accommodating and we only wished we could have stayed longer.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, spacious and very clean room with a really nice terrace and view. Breakfast was good, people were extremely nice and location is great to bike or visit champagne houses. Good coffee available all day long. Since it is a bed and breakfast, the breakfast is together with other people, but besides that, you really have enough privacy as well.
Cons: Nothing about the bed and breakfast. Except may be that there were no eggs at breakfast. But beside that, the breakfast was delicious and complete. And if you really want to have eggs, just buy them in the store and you can bake them yourself in the tiny kitchenette. About the neighbourhood: no cosy restaurants in the whole wide area. We found only one (12km far) and it was completely booked for the next days as well. Tip: Make sure you reserve a table at "La Rotisserie Henri 4" at least a week upfront. They have a really cosy terrace and are one of the only ones in the area that even has a nice terrace.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice, clean (romantic) room with terraceview over the vinyards. 20min drive to Epernay. Owner is superfriendly! Delicious breakfast.
Cons: /
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing experience in the heart of the Champagne region. The owners are so welcoming they make you feel at home. Great breakfast. Very relaxing and quiet, surrounded by nature. It could not be any better!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent welcome by the owner. The place and the rooms are very pretty and comfortable. Our room looked like had been decorated by an interior designer. The owners have their own champagne vineyard. We tasted one overlooking the vine fields from our balcony. The breakfast was very nice including homemade yoghurt and jam made from Chardonnay and Pinot noir grapes. Wish we could have stayed more than one night. There is also a shared kitchen.
Cons: Isolated. No restaurants within walking distance but there is a supermarket nearby and the kitchen and dining room are well equipped
10.0 Excellent
Pros: In an area of Champagne where it is difficult to find accommodation, this is a real find! Excellent room, really comfortable bed, very well appointed shower room, fantastic breakfast. Bouzy has a small supermarket where we were able to buy food to eat on our terrace, as well as having a locally recommended lunchtime café and an excellent fairly new restaurant right on the edge of the vines and in walking distance of Mont Rouge chamber d'hote. Monsieur is a champagne producer - what more could you want? It has the added bonus of being only five miles from the autoroute entry/exit.
Cons: Nothing! The garden room didn't have a TV but that was a bonus for us!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean tidy well organised Friendly and welcoming and a beautiful location . So good we stayed twice.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly welcome, lovely garden and house. Breakfast was very nice in the morning.
Cons: Everything in the house was very nice and enjoyable. The village only has a limited number of places to eat and drink.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property and stunning breakfast

Pros: A lot of advice on nice visiting locations frol the host.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed 3 nights at L'Iliade. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with freshly baked baguette and freshly squeezed orange juice. The owner of this cosy B&B, Arnaud, is a wine and Champagne producer. We visited the harvest and production facility as well as the impressive cellars. The visit was followed by a very interesting champagne tasting. Next time we come to the Champagne region, we'll be staying here again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful time at Arnaud's B&B. The bedroom is big and the bathroom even bigger. Arnaud and his wife equipped the rooms with an attention to every small detail. Arnaud is a very charming host and his passion Champagne is omnipresent. He really knows how to make high quality Champagne and how to present it. We had 12 tastings at other places, inclusive the big names, and Arnaud's Champagne is the best. The Odyssee (14 years of maturation) is out of the world. The breakfast at the B&B leaves no wish unfulfilled. Very good!
Cons: We only had time to stay their for 3 nights!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Bouzy is a charming little town with Grand Cru status, so a perfect place to stay. Arnaud and Severine were excellent hosts and they took very good care of us, from the complimentary bottle of champagne when we arrived through to improvising ice packs on our last day with which to keep our cheeses cool during the long drive home. The bedroom was newly and beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, the bathroom very modern and stylish with a great shower. Downstairs there’s a nice conservatory in which to sit and where breakfast is served. There is a small garden and terrace where you can relax in the sun with some food and wine - we also had a tasting of the whole range of fabulous Moreau grand cru champagne out there. Breakfast is plentiful and of a high standard, Arnaud getting fresh croissants, pain au chocolat, brioche and bread from the little bakery up the road each morning. He prepares fresh coffee and orange juice, and provides his mother-in-law’s delicious home made jams and local honey. It is a perfect start to each day. The kitchen is well-equipped if you want to prepare your own lunch or a picnic; coffee and tea are available 24 hours. We were very happy to be guided by our hosts on what to do in the locality; all their suggestions about walks to take, places to visit and restaurants were excellent. Bouzy is a working agricultural community and it was interesting to see and meet local people working with their vines. We will definitely stay at L’Iliade again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the stay at this place very much. It was our first visit to Champagne and the location of the accommodation was just perfect. Many small cellers just in Bouzy itself but also easy to get to Épernay or Reims from here. The host, Arnauld, was very friendly and hands on, welcoming us every morning with fresh croissants and home made marmalades. His Champaign is also worth a try! All in all we can just highly recommend this place.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner was extremely friendly, also provided small present for us! We enjoyed to speak with him about champagnes and Star wars) Champagne was awesome, we bought few bottles, but price is kinda expensive as this champagne is Grand Cru)
Cons: There was little bit hot and noisy as a window on the road side and locals start their work early morning)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location and service from Arnaud. We had great time following his advice for the area and champagne tastings.
Cons: A bit too much noise on the road next to the place. With windows closed it was OK, it with the warm temperature we preferred open windows
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We had the beautiful house alone for ourselves, the owners are very friendly and the champaign of the house is super.
Cons: The hotel and the hosts can really be recommended. If i must mention something here, I would mention the noise from the street which you can hear in the sleeping room. But we would come back nevertheless.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The warm welcoming host Arnaud who has been very kind and accommodating. He showed us around his vineyard. We also had a champagne tasting with him which was amazing. The house is newly refurbished, clean, comfy and you will find everything you need right there. Fully functional kitchen, lounge and breakfast room. We will happily return.
Cons: Quite a noisy road outside ( tractors and cars about as early as 5am to start work on the vineyards. The bed was rather hard. Village is charming but sleepy if you are looking for an evening outing or entertainment you will be left only with your champagne bottle as there isn't much going on. Unless you drive to Reims ( 40min ) or Eperney ( 20min ).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Artaud, the host was terrific from the complimentary bottle of champagne, the tasting of his own excellent champagnes to the beautifully renovated guest house.

Pros: Beautiful scenery. The owners were very kind and available to ask a question most of the time. They allowed our dog without a deposit.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was in a cute town in the middle of vineyards. Host was kind. The host was kind and accommodating. I did my laundry at one in the morning.
Cons: Shower head needed some work. Host/owner was very kind and accommodating. I did try to reach her and it took a while for her to return my call but I understood that because she runs the entire place.
7.0 Good
Pros: Owner was friendly and welcoming and spike good English, he was also very helpful
Cons: The bed wasn't particularly comfortable and had an awful plastic mattress cover on which made it far far too hot and sweaty. Room was quite small with a very low sloping ceiling

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here with our two dogs en route from Provence to the Channel Tunnel. The owner was charming, friendly and extremely welcoming. The apartment was spotless and extremely comfortable. We purchased two local bottles of champagne and drank one that evening which was delicious. Breakfast was well presented with delicious bread, croissants and pain au chocolate. The coffee was excellent. There is a large woodland a hundred yards away which was perfect for walking our dogs before breakfast. Overall the perfect stopover for us and we will definitely be staying here again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: the breakfast, the views from the windows, the staff, parking spaces quiet and nice to relax
Cons: toiletries were a bit scarce, no places to eat around - so you better eat before going there, no free champagne :(
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast consisted of pain au chocolat, croissants, fresh bread, jams, butter, soft cheese, yoghurts etc. and was all very good. As another reviewer mentioned the coffee was great! Plenty of parking on site, even for a large vehicle like ours, and the rooms were large enough even for our big dog and baby cot. The property is located in the middle of some beautiful vineyards with fantastic views out over the countryside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were lovely, great breakfast. Very quiet.
Cons: Nowhere to eat within walking distance.

Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent in a village surrounded by vineyards.
Cons: Room is small and effectively smaller still because of the sloping ceiling. The village is isolated so you have to travel a fair way to get a meal on a Sunday or public holiday. We couldn’t be bothered so skipped dinner on 2 nights.
