9.3 Excellent
Pros: Really nice property in very rural setting. Very comfortable room. Nice couple running the hotel, able to provide lots of information about the surroundings and activities. Very nice breakfast.
Cons: So say hotel is bit hard to find. It is if you don't do your homework. Please prepare before (google maps). The hotel is sign posted coming from Montefalco. Wifi in room can also be scetchy, but can also be because of rural setting.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts were such warm, hospitable people. After 8 days, we left feeling we had made lifelong friends. Olliver the cat was an instant 'hit', a most endearing little chap. Loved the mellow, tranquil mornings and the vistas to the distant mountains. And last but not least, the splendid breakfasts which we never could do justice to. Special mention--Luciano's scrambled eggs!!
Cons: Tomtom could not locate the address. Nearest point was Montefalco, the town. Fortunately I had previously created a paper sketch map from Google maps which got us there --after a rather confusing 10mins. Signage could be improved.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Hosts very hospitable, friendly and provided information, maps, for things to see around the area and as far as Assisi. Delicious omelettes for breakfast as well as an array of food and fruit! Good central position, once you have found the place. Quiet and safe.
Cons: Our GPS did not have the position of the BnB. Called them and host came and met us in Montefalco and drove with us to the house. We found out that if we had gone further, there were signs to the property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We chose Montefalco as the base to explore the beautiful region of Umbria by car. Tenuta Colverano is located a few minutes drive from the town. Our charming hosts, Anna and Luciano, made us feel most welcome. They were very helpful with information about the local area, and provided us with excellent directions to drive to other towns. Anna is an excellent cook and we really enjoyed her beautiful cakes and homemade jams for breakfast. The farmhouse is set in lovely, peaceful surroundings with an amazing view of the countryside. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable, well maintained and beautifully decorated. We highly recommend Tenuta Colverano. Grazie mille Anna and Luciano.

Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: What a marvelous stay my husband and I had at Villa Zuccari in Montefalco in Umbria. Our mission was to familiarize ourselves with the native Sangrantino wines. Villa Zuccari is in the center of these vineyards as well as being close to Spello, Assisi and Bevagna. Whether tasting wines or visiting Umbrian hill towns, we were always pleased to return to the villa. Paolo Zuccari, the owner of Villa Zuccari which bears his name, derives from a family that can be traced back 500 years. He and his charming wife, Daniela, play an active role in running the villa. They are always available for answering questions pertinent to the area and in particular about the villa. The rooms vary on size and terraces. We had a large room that opened on to a terrace and lawn. We spent relaxing time enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The dining room which is open for dinner served fine food. The menu is limited but with sufficient choices. We had 4 dinners which was a first for us as we tend to be out and about for meals. We highly recommend Villa Zuccari for its historical atmosphere and great food, service and accomodations.
