Room was very comfortable Room may have been too hot
I found the staff very polite and helpful, the premises where very clean and your morning breakfast offered a great varity of fresh and tasty food.
Location, Freindly staff.
I had asked for on booking, and was given, a quiet room. Because the hotel is on a busy street, I think this is important to specify. Good wi-fi access in my room for a reasonable charge (€2 for the duration of my stay).
Very helpful staff booked concert tickets for us, and the restaurant served very good food
good breakfast. Friendly, English-speaking staff all around. Good local parking at hotel. Easy in and out. a 20 minute walk to Porta Nigra, but only 5 minutes to Kaiserthermen; this wasn't entirely clear when booking, but turned out OK.
The Sauna was a very positive experience. The location is also just a 10 minute walk from the city square. Our room was on the front (road side) of the hotel so it was a little noisey at night due to drunk people on the street in the weekend. (we had the window open) The room was also a bit humid. (no airco in the room) but this would not stop us from visiting again.
Its location, friendly staff and very good food. No
very nice and efficient traditional city hotel nithing , really
Free parking. Within walking distance to all the sights and museum. The triple room had three single beds which was great for our three sons instead of a double and a single. Reception staff were extremely helpful.
This is an excellent and modern hotel in a good location at a most reasonable price.
Comfortable size of the room and excellent breakfast. Not an easy walking distance from/to main station.
The staff were all very helpful. I found that the whole experiance was better than your guest reviews reflected, We will be returning with a larger party for next years Christmas Market!
Friendly reception, nice room and excellent location, close to city center. Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast
It was located right at one end of the Old City which made it very convenient to go out frequently without the hassle of transportation.
Great in-town location adjacent to many shopping, dining and sightseeing opportunities. Pool and foosball table in lobby. No air conditioning in the guest rooms made sleeping difficult.
The hotel is good, the reception floor being very nicely renovated and decorated. The rooms are quite spacious. The receptionist lady gave us a twin bed room although we booked and wanted a double bed room. We went back to her and she answered us that all the double bed rooms are occupied. Maybe booking.com should clearly make these options more clear at the booking, as it is not the first time when I assume that I will receive a double bed room and the room has twin beds instead of a large one. // We haven't taken the breakfast for 15 euro/pers. and had a very good one in the main square at "Zur Steipe" (10 euro/pers).
Comfortable room with modern decor and large flat screen TV. Very helpful and welcoming reception staff. Secure hotel parking and well located adjacent to the Altstadt. Very good breakfast if a little pricey.
Parking so close by.
Hotel staff is very friendly. None
Breakfast was good and provided a gluten free menu items.
Easy to find in my car. No problem parking at hotel at a very reasonable cost. No
They charged me 5 euros for breakfast.
Clean. Cheap parking. Close to the old town but a longish walk. With small children I recommend to pay a little more so you are in the middle of town.
lovely views over the Moselle river. Excellent breakfast, good dinner in restaurant although a long wait for the food Only a small black & white TV with few channels. German pillows are hopeless. A long way from station, although nearby bus stop useful
The hotel was easy to find. The inderground parking garage was useful and inexpensive. It was only about 10 minutes on foot from the shopping streets and 15 minutes from the Porta Negra. The traffic noise and road works woke us early in the morning. The elevator was unavailable to take luggage to the garage before breakfast. The "English breakfast" teabag produced tasteless hot water. The credit card machine did not work. The receptionist on duty for check-out in the morning did not speak English.
The equipment are nice. Comfortable bed, good bath, good heating. And the view of Mosel river from the window. A little noise from the street. However we decide to live with this 'cause we want see the river...
the hotel room was very spacious and well appointed
Breakfast was good (for Germany).
The Hotel Constantin is very close to the center of Trier, within walking distance to almost all the Roman ruins and other attractions of the city. The room was small, but comfortable and quiet. Off-street parking was also available, which was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Location to the old town was excellent, the breakfest layout was very nice and the room was really three rooms, bathroom, sitting room and bedroom.
It was very unusual in that it was a residence for the elderly as well as a hotel. The room was clean and large and it had a very unusual courtyard full of sculptures and tables and gardens. The residents were very helpful. The front desk clerk was not very nice. She could have helped us find our room and didn't tell us about the afternoon refreshments.
Very good room facilities (in fact they were suites), very good position, secure underground car park The 2 rooms we booked were a long way apart
The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful, Our room was spacious and delightful the breakfast was wonderful. We really loved our stay here and would reccomend it to anyone. We would like to have been able to have had an evening meal there as the food we had there was of such high quality. The location was also excellent.
Excellent hotel: modern, clean and in great location. Almost hate to mention that it is a "best value on the internet" ... prefer they do not now put their prices up. Seriously this is super value on the edge of the pedestrian area of a reasonably large, very safe and thoroughly interesting city. Rooms tops!
We liked the fact you had a seperate living area and bedroom. The hotel was convenient for the centre of Trier
quiet, comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful
Walking distance to city center with great shopping places to go.
Good location. The place is a part of house for elderly people so it is not the best atmosphere for a vacation. When we arrived the breakfast area was presented to us however in the morning we have been kicked out from there to another room with no food in it (few other people that came later were allowed to use the breakfast area), so we had to go from one place to another to get the food. At that time exactly, the floor between those areas was washed and was slippery.
lokation the apartament size at brekfast they took as to the club room
Helpful reception staff;shower withno step or cabinet; choice to eat breakfast in or outsidein pleasant garden needed more than net curtains in the bedroom
A really excellent breakfast, unlimited good coffee and orange juice, freshly prepared fried eggs or omelette. The window coverings in the bedroom were just very sheer drapes, no curtains or blinds. No full length mirror.
Comfortable basic room, very clean and satisfactory. The proprietress could not have been more friendly or helpful. The food was very good and at a reasonable price. Would recommend to anyone not requiring 5* facilities
The innkeeper staff was very nice and cordial. The innkeeper did not speak English, and my parents (who stayed there with me) spoke no German, but the innkeeper was able to get her points across and provided an excellent stay there.
The hotel was very clean and the room, while small, looked like it had been recently renovated - it was quite nice. While the hotel did not have free parking as a rule, the owner was very nice and allowed me to park in the back area of the hotel overnight. Like most affordable European hotels, the room was quite small. However, as I was on my own, this was not a real problem.
