Free parking. Within walking distance to all the sights and museum. The triple room had three single beds which was great for our three sons instead of a double and a single. Reception staff were extremely helpful.
Location, Freindly staff.
Its location, friendly staff and very good food. No
I had asked for on booking, and was given, a quiet room. Because the hotel is on a busy street, I think this is important to specify. Good wi-fi access in my room for a reasonable charge (€2 for the duration of my stay).
I found the staff very polite and helpful, the premises where very clean and your morning breakfast offered a great varity of fresh and tasty food.
very nice and efficient traditional city hotel nithing , really
Room was very comfortable Room may have been too hot
The Sauna was a very positive experience. The location is also just a 10 minute walk from the city square. Our room was on the front (road side) of the hotel so it was a little noisey at night due to drunk people on the street in the weekend. (we had the window open) The room was also a bit humid. (no airco in the room) but this would not stop us from visiting again.
good breakfast. Friendly, English-speaking staff all around. Good local parking at hotel. Easy in and out. a 20 minute walk to Porta Nigra, but only 5 minutes to Kaiserthermen; this wasn't entirely clear when booking, but turned out OK.
Very helpful staff booked concert tickets for us, and the restaurant served very good food
This is an excellent and modern hotel in a good location at a most reasonable price.
It was located right at one end of the Old City which made it very convenient to go out frequently without the hassle of transportation.
Comfortable room with modern decor and large flat screen TV. Very helpful and welcoming reception staff. Secure hotel parking and well located adjacent to the Altstadt. Very good breakfast if a little pricey.
Hotel staff is very friendly. None
Great in-town location adjacent to many shopping, dining and sightseeing opportunities. Pool and foosball table in lobby. No air conditioning in the guest rooms made sleeping difficult.
Breakfast was good and provided a gluten free menu items.
The staff were all very helpful. I found that the whole experiance was better than your guest reviews reflected, We will be returning with a larger party for next years Christmas Market!
Parking so close by.
The hotel is good, the reception floor being very nicely renovated and decorated. The rooms are quite spacious. The receptionist lady gave us a twin bed room although we booked and wanted a double bed room. We went back to her and she answered us that all the double bed rooms are occupied. Maybe booking.com should clearly make these options more clear at the booking, as it is not the first time when I assume that I will receive a double bed room and the room has twin beds instead of a large one. // We haven't taken the breakfast for 15 euro/pers. and had a very good one in the main square at "Zur Steipe" (10 euro/pers).
Comfortable size of the room and excellent breakfast. Not an easy walking distance from/to main station.
Friendly reception, nice room and excellent location, close to city center. Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast
Location and breakfast were good. Our room faced the street, which was noisy. If we closed the window, however, it was rather hot.
Staff were very friendly and the room was large with plent of space. Clean and bright, no real view. However, the restaurant had a lovely view over the river and an easy walk to the town centre. The parking was across the road in an open air area and although there was no problem it did not seem very secure.
Good size room
Location,right on the river none
Not in busy area - but within walking distance to center. Hotel staff was excellent
kind stuff, very good breakfast , 10 min to city and even internet although it was said it is not provided
We especially enjoyed our rooms, they were both facing the Mosel River and the old Roman Bridge. We could watch the river traffic and the water fowl that stayed on the river bank beneath our windows. It was fun and really a great setting, we felt very fortunate. We also enjoyed the Romerbrucke's dining room. The meals were exceptional, some of the very best during our entire stay in Germany! If you should stay there and eat in the dining room and like fish, order the Baked Salmon. We rented two rooms, both faced the Mosel River and The old Roman Bridge. Our rooms could not have had better views. The dining experience was superb, we enjoyed excellent meals in an attractive setting. We also appreciated the elevator. We all three enjoyed our stay and have no complaints.
We were pleasantly surprised that we had been given a modern suite rather than a bedroom. The facilities were excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was large and bright with a pleasant outlook across the river and breakfast was excellent - would return if back in Trier
Clean and tidy, large rooms, easy walking distance to city centre (if the weather is dry) parking across the road from Hotel, good variety for breakfast The Hotel restaurant is closed on Sundays!, a little pricey for a 3* hotel, shower cubicle grubby
The hotel was easy to find. The inderground parking garage was useful and inexpensive. It was only about 10 minutes on foot from the shopping streets and 15 minutes from the Porta Negra. The traffic noise and road works woke us early in the morning. The elevator was unavailable to take luggage to the garage before breakfast. The "English breakfast" teabag produced tasteless hot water. The credit card machine did not work. The receptionist on duty for check-out in the morning did not speak English.
lovely views over the Moselle river. Excellent breakfast, good dinner in restaurant although a long wait for the food Only a small black & white TV with few channels. German pillows are hopeless. A long way from station, although nearby bus stop useful
Clean. Cheap parking. Close to the old town but a longish walk. With small children I recommend to pay a little more so you are in the middle of town.
Breakfast was good (for Germany).
They charged me 5 euros for breakfast.
the hotel room was very spacious and well appointed
Easy to find in my car. No problem parking at hotel at a very reasonable cost. No
Location to the old town was excellent, the breakfest layout was very nice and the room was really three rooms, bathroom, sitting room and bedroom.
The equipment are nice. Comfortable bed, good bath, good heating. And the view of Mosel river from the window. A little noise from the street. However we decide to live with this 'cause we want see the river...
The Hotel Constantin is very close to the center of Trier, within walking distance to almost all the Roman ruins and other attractions of the city. The room was small, but comfortable and quiet. Off-street parking was also available, which was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was very clean and the room, while small, looked like it had been recently renovated - it was quite nice. While the hotel did not have free parking as a rule, the owner was very nice and allowed me to park in the back area of the hotel overnight. Like most affordable European hotels, the room was quite small. However, as I was on my own, this was not a real problem.
The innkeeper staff was very nice and cordial. The innkeeper did not speak English, and my parents (who stayed there with me) spoke no German, but the innkeeper was able to get her points across and provided an excellent stay there.
A really excellent breakfast, unlimited good coffee and orange juice, freshly prepared fried eggs or omelette. The window coverings in the bedroom were just very sheer drapes, no curtains or blinds. No full length mirror.
Comfortable basic room, very clean and satisfactory. The proprietress could not have been more friendly or helpful. The food was very good and at a reasonable price. Would recommend to anyone not requiring 5* facilities
