Pros: A quiet and good location to explore the nearby countryside and villages. Friendly host who serves a wonderful breakfast. We did like the big balcony and the quality of the bed.
Cons: A bit akward that you have to pay €1,50 for every cup of nespresso or tea you wanna drink using the machine in the room. It is not matching with the high standard of the place, the price you pay and the great host.
Pros: Beautiful quiet location; clean, modern, comfortable apartment; friendly host who served fantastic local breakfasts
Cons: A simple kitchenette would have rounded off a perfect stay
Pros: Simply amazing! The owners are so considerate and helpful and truly make the experience special. The rooms are extremely clean and well presented. The breakfast is first class! You can’t go wrong by staying here. It’s a perfect place to escape and unwind. 15 min from the center of Colmar but a world away from people and congestion. You will not want to leave!
Cons: Nothing! It was a perfect stay!
Pros: Super friendly host, very clean and quiet room and delicious breakfast. Spacious parking.
Cons: Nothing to complain about. Only thing we would change are the pillows, they were quite thin. But that’s personal preference.
Pros: Not only did the cottage meet my consistently high expectations, it exceeded them in every sense of the word. Top notch cleanliness, constantly interesting and rotating breakfast, beautiful exterior and interior rooms. On top of the beauty is a genuine sense of efficiency and kindness in service, all by one great family running the place.
Pros: Cottage 1956 was the perfect accommodation for us. Quiet, roomy, clean, upscale, amazing breakfast, and the most hospitable and friendly hosts Michel and Camille.
Cons: There nothing about our stay that we did not like except possibly the winding road to Trois Epis. This was easily offset by the private setting and hiking outside our door.
Pros: Absolutely lovely accommodation. Great design. Great comfort. Extremely nice hosts. Wonderful breakfast in the room. This place is run lovingly and passionate by their owners.
Cons: You always need the car to go out for dinner. No restaurants in Trois-Epis.
Pros: Everything was perfect. Newly redecorated rooms, very modern and comfortable. Fantastic breakfast with local and organic products. The owner is especially attentive and helpful. We have experienced an emergency situation while staying there, he handled everything quickly and efficiently and was of great help. Thank you once again!
With a stay at Villa Rosa in Turckheim, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Jean Baptiste Adam and Ammerschwihr Golf Club.
Pros: Villa Rosa is a nice cosy place. Sure it is an old house but offers a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are clean, the french bed is comfortable and at night u sleep quietly even with open windows. true, during the day there is some motorbike traffik, but after 6pm bikers are gone. The hospitality of the owners will make us come back again.
Pros: beautiful, authentic and very nice and helpful people.
Pros: Very friendly, nothing too much trouble, excellent food and value for money, wonderful location, we asked for secure parking and they let us park in their private parking area. Facilities great small and quaint
Pros: The bed was comfortable, the room was very large, beautiful little balcony with a glorious view. The breakfast was delicious and the swimming pool was very welcome after a hot day. Garden is in the cottage style and very pretty. Bed linen and towels were clean and in good order. Owner and her husband were lovely people.
Cons: If I had to be picky I would say some of the furniture was a little worn.
Pros: We slept really well.
Cons: Trois epis is good for walking but nowhere to buy food except a cake shop closed on monday. A car is necessary, restaurant at villa rosa wasn't available in evenings. We didn't expect this from the photo and description.
Pros: Villa Rosa is a cosy old stile hotel with a garden and a swimming pool. Antique furniture, fireplace, authentic books and toys - everything makes you feel like staying at the grandma's house. On the other hand WiFi is rather stable and beds are comfortable. There is a nice restaurant serving traditional Alsace dishes. Apparently there is a possibility to sit in the garden when the weather is warm. We stayed in a quadruple room, which was actually a suite with a separate bedroom, quite spacious for our family of 4.
Cons: Breakfast could have been better. It would be also nice to have a small playground for the kids in the garden, at least a small slide, playhouse or trampoline. Otherwise the kids are just running around the garden, which could be risky for the plantings.
Pros: The hotel is in a beautiful location. The owner was helpful and kind. The facility is a converted kloster and they have kept the renovation true to the minimalist theme of the previous owners. The showers were always hot and breakfast was prompt and plentiful but keeps with the minimalist theme. We will return to this hotel.
Cons: Although pay in cash wasn't a problem using a card would have been easier.
Pros: The location was on a hilltop and our room had a fabulous view. We were lucky enough to be above the snow line and woke up to snow on the ground.
