Pros: Enjoyed a couple of days stay at Kerstin's, nice room, very clean, excellent breakfast and lots of thoughtful touches. Kerstin was a very good host, thanks Andrew and Jane
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I am a bit torn deciding on whether what I liked the most was the amazing 4 star breakfast and service (I have stayed in 4 Star hotels whose breakfasts don’t even compare) or the peaceful setting of the B&B and views from the room (and the room was cosy, clean and warm). In addition, I suffer from gluten and lactose intolerance, which I failed to inform them of prior to my arrival and, to my surprise, they were able to cater for a gluten free and lactose free breakfast! The hosts are wonderfully welcoming and helpful, and will go out of their way to accommodate you if it’s within their capabilities. I loved my overall experience and will not hesitate on going back if I am in need of some peace and a beautiful scenery. Thank you Kerstin and Bern ( and The rest of the animal family) <3

Pros: The host Anita went the extra mile, will a welcome of silver service of tea and scones. A lovely breakfast and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The en-suite was surprising, a beautiful modern twist to a beautiful antique feel house.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love this place. The owners are so hospitable and we love the property. Would easily stay a week here.
Cons: Everything for us is just perfect. Maybe an honesty bar might work. We know they would bring you little tipple if you were home early. But, we wouldn’t want to disturb. This time (as been here twice already), we brought a bottle of wine for our last evening. Even so, Anita insisted on us having proper wine glasses! Just wonderful hospitality!

Pros: Anita and Billy were the most welcoming of hosts and couldn't do enough for us, especially at breakfast time. The Irish breakfast was wonderful and our every need was taken care of. It was a pleasure to stay in this beautifully refurbished and stylishly decorated 17th century home with views of Lough Derg. The bedrooms are extremely large, beautifully decorated and Anita's attention to detail was second to none.
Cons: The mattress to the four poster bed was too soft and dipped in the middle. It seriously needs replacing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An exceptional property. Full of character and history. My experience on staying here far exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail was evident everywhere: imagine arriving back from a visit to nearby Feakle to find a supper left out in my bedroom....what kindness and care.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely home. Excellent room. Great breakfast.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good accomodation. We had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was quite sumptous. There are a few lovely walks nearby, especially the woods near Mt Shannon. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Cons: No major complaints. We were a bit disappointed with the location - its not the facility's fault of course, but having taken the bus thinking of availing their tours, we were dissapointed to see they were overpriced. So had to go back to a nearby city to hire a car (Had to arrange it with the facility without a choice, again overcharged). So I would say, please rent a car if you plan to stay there. The entire village/towns nearby close down very early. Overall, this leg was our dimmest in our entire Ireland itinerary. Our main aim was The Burren, so it was silly we chose to stay there, Doolin or Lisdoonvarna could have been a far, far better choices. If you want to enjoy some places in East Clare, especially around Mt Shannon then this could be a good choice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was bang on. Plenty of everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything comfortable bed. Adequate shower, soaps and shower hat. Tea and coffee in rooms. Fresh air, lovely dining area. Lounge downstairs with DVD's and Videos. Great to sit outside at dawn smoking and praying with the peaceful silence an the birds coming alive

Theresa and Derek good people. Reasonably priced. Best guesthouse I ever stayed in. Very happy. Thank you Theresa and Dereck.

9.4 Excellent
Pros: We had a private 2 bedroom suite with a kitchen that included a washer/dryer and a dishwasher. The suite had a large sitting room and kitchen, it was the size of an apartment! The bathroom was wonderful with great shower pressure. We will absoluetly be back and plan to stay much longer. Mary was the staff member who helped us and she was marvelous! We thought we were going to arrive after office hours so she called and made arrangement's with us. I sm so glsd we made it in time to meet her. She gave restaurant suggestions then even have us a map of the area and a map of Dublin since we were heading there next. She is a gem and really made the whole experience better.
