Pros: Nice little hotel, Parking in the garage under the hotel. the place has a nice fresh look to it with glass panels and marble floors, it was nice and quirky something different, we really liked it. the hotel is in a small town so no tourist stuff just the local Spanish people but there was enough places to get a drink and some food.
Cons: We booked this so as to see Real Spain, so hotel is nice and the town was quite.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room had been recently renovated and was clean, comfortable and modern - even the toilet had a soft-close seat and lid. The walk-in shower was very good but water did tend to escape onto the bathroom floor. Parking was enclosed and secure. A nearby restaurant was handy for evening meal and breakfast.
Cons: Maybe because we arrived on a Sunday afternoon there was no-one on reception, we had to phone to let them know we were there.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Check in guy was kind. Free parking and safe, quiet area. A good place to get buy thru the night and it is very affordable.
Cons: I filtered my search for an airconditioned hotel, but no air coming out of it. It was hot and widows barely opened. Also, walls are thin. We were not given the wifi password and no way to contact front desk, we arrive past 10pm.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Very low price. Accepted dogs. Room and bed good. Shower ok
Cons: The main problem was horrendous noise from a large group of male guests who arrived at 1am shouting and laughing both inside and outside the hotel. They occupied all the other rooms on our floor and spent 30 minutes running and shouting from room to room from 0.100-01.30. They then went out en masse- obviously we knew they would return so it was difficult to get back to sleep. They returned around 4 am I believe ( we didn’t check the time) - again laughing banging around and shouting to each other. They made no effort to reduce their voices at all. At around 07.30 someone came knocking to get them all up and they departed rather less noisy. We saw them depart in 2 mini busses from the window- all young men in their early 20s with 1 older woman and man. This was horrible- we got very little sleep. Had I been alone I would have been very scared- we initially had no idea if the hotel was being invaded by a group of thieves or similar- fortunately I was with my adult son. The hotel had tiled floors and no attempt at noise reduction or sound proofing. On departing we noticed that the walls downstairs are covered with photos of sports teams and in hindsight I think it is used by travelling teams on their way to or from matches, so I doubt this is incident is uncommon. No mention of it was made to us at breakfast as though the awful night had been completely normal- certainly no apology. I would never risk staying here again.

Cons: The room smelt very smokey. Luckily there was an outdoor balcony so I could air the room. No reading lights by the bed. The concierge was also running the bar, so was unable to show me the room. The street leading to the hotel was closed so it was very hard to find!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very welcoming and accommodating.
Cons: My room was a little too small
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: List follows 1. Address on booking.com takes you down a dirt track to a field 2. Absolutely no english spoken 3. Staff just hung up on me when I phoned to get directions. so was stuck in the middle of nowhere until a friend helped with the language barrier and called on my behalf 4. Room door lock / latch faulty and difficult to open 5. Shower tray was the size of a postage stamp - terrible shower 6. Locked in overnight 7. Breakfast did not open till 07:30 - should have been open at 07:00 but staff just not bothered about getting in on time 8. I paid for breakfast the night before but morning staff said I had not - fed up arguing so just left. Had had enough by then... My first experience of a Spanish 'hostal' with an apparent high rating on booking.com. Rubbish. Never again..
7.9 Good
Pros: Very nice staff, perfect for a stop on a road trip
Cons: Very busy restaurant downstairs, a bit noisy
9.6 Excellent
Pros: helpful staff, clean room, good breakfast but little
Cons: I had booked a room with a double bed and a futon but I was given just a double bed/ small bathroom
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The welcome was unparalleled, right from the off with a welcome drink and a complimentary tapa, they welcomed us as if family. In fact, later in the evening we had some beers in the bar and were given two free tapas (I think). It was very good value considering what we paid, but then the amount was commensurate with it being a Hostal and not a hotel.
Cons: The bathroom was miniscule, and a shower curtain over a tiny tray, I had to mend the drooping shower rose holder with a screwdriver, as the rose fell under its own weight towards the wall, lastly, the air con drip pipe entering the WC cistern, holes in the wall, showed the room's humble designation. It was clear that the bedroom sacrificed the bathroom's size, presumably to better the photo of the bedroom for advertising purposes, but then, I can only comment about our room. Interestingly, there are no photos advertised of the bathrooms, maybe they're all small. That night, after ordering three beers, A different chap (I presume the manager, and not the owner who gave us a warm welcome), gave us the bill of 8 euros, and muttered something about an order from earlier, adding 2 more euros, none of which computed to that amount. I didn't argue, not worth it for the money, but was a bit miffed.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The rooms where freshly renovated, spacious and incredibly cosh with lovely big windows, ours facing the main street
Cons: The bathroom was very small
